So good hits the spot evertime

Great food, fast service, and perfect little hidden hole in the wall..this is my second time getting a breakfast burrito and it never disappoints

Being able to walk to an authentic Mexican place for lunch spoils me. It's gratifying to enjoy the food outside, now that pandemic restrictions are lifting (and I had my vaccines). The carnitas tacos are full of flavor, and there is just enough fatty tissue to make it satisfying. The house green salsa goes well with the tacos. The beans are a bit on the saltier side, but the horchata completes a refreshing lunch. Weigh down your napkins and wrappers when dining outside. Otherwise the wind will make you chase after your trash.

This place is crazy good for being something I've driven by multiple times. CASH ONLY! I came thru and didn't know and I almost turned around but someone told me it was worth it who was waiting for their food. Decided to go thru a liquor store get some cash and I've been surprised, one of the better Asada Fries I've had in the city. That means alot cause I'mve been trying almost all of them and this place made me go on and make a review. The Asada Fries got my favorite ways to be made, cheese melted, not nacho cheese, melted. This makes the fries stay nice and good while not being soggy unlike Fries from places with nacho cheese sauce on their fries. Asada has good seasoning too. Seriously underrated, needs to be tried out and it's a small family business from what I can tell and it's a nice little place. I went to go but It can fir atleast 5 people to eat inside.

This is a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. It's tiny. You can't really eat here. But the food is freshly and well prepared. I ordered huevos rancheros. The cook made the sauce from scratch to order. He asked how spicy I wanted it. I said spicy and he wasn't kidding. The vegetables in the sauce were all deliciously fresh. This is not Providence, nor will it ever get a Michelin Star. But it is well prepared with good ingredients. One comment I read that I want to confirm: when I got home, the corn tortillas were still super hot. This is a really good place you might never go to if you didn't know how good it was.

I Never DO Reviews But I Had To For This One! First Off, It's Bomb! I've tried A Couple Things Such As Wet Burrito, Menudo, Tacos, & Birria De Res, Which Is Just Soo Damn Good! WISH The Tortillas Were Hand Made But Oh Well The Bomb Birria Makes Up For It All ....The Restaurant Is Sooo Small But Oh Man The Food is Amazing! "Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover"..... Get Off Your Ass And Give This Place A Try!

I came here for a quick lunch since I was in the area. It's a small (very small) restaurant off the side of a busy road. I actually missed it while driving and had to make a U-turn to come back. Plenty of street parking. I ordered the Cali Asada Burrito and it was very good. The asada was cooked well and the fries inside the burrito gave it a nice potato flavor. It' pretty cheap (I think it was about $9) for a big burrito and comes with your choice of red or green sauce and a soda. Nice!

This was so good so much variety .

This is really good food :) from breakfast to dinner to lunch . I was very pleased, it's pretty filling and hot sauce is really spicy just how I like it. Great Mexican food ( they have everything from pancakes to shrimp plates and Jamaica water is pretty bomb, they prices aren't bad either.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. Check them out!

I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. Perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food will definitely have me returning very soon! Parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby garage on 3rd and is a very short walk. It's about how management handled it. We made a reservation three days in advance to watch the Mexico World Cup match. We arrived 10 min early to our reservation in anticipation of the crowds. We received confirmation by both email and text, but when we arrived, we were told there was no reservation and "nothing they could do." Despite showing proof of our confirmed reservation, they refused to honor it and told us there were no tables available. Seconds later, another group walked up and asked to join the waitlist, and he gladly added them. I then asked why we couldn't be added--considering we had a confirmed reservation--and only then did he put us on the list. When a restaurant makes a mistake, the bare minimum is trying to make it right. We should have been given priority on the waitlist. Instead, after nearly two hours of waiting, we were still ninth in line even though the wait time for our table size showed 0 minutes. We left without ever being seated. Thankfully before the match began, we walked over to Broken Spirits (5 min walk away) where they seated us within 15 minutes and even gave us complimentary drinks to celebrate the game. The difference in hospitality was incredible. This wasn't my first disappointing experience here, either. On a previous visit, I waited outside to be seated for so long that I eventually gave up and seated myself at the bar. To make matters worse, the food and drinks don't justify the price. Cocktails are around $20, filled with ice, and underwhelming. As a customer, I left Ordinarie feeling dismissed and disrespected. Between the poor service, overpriced menu, and management's complete lack of accountability, I won't be returning. If you're in the DTLB area, I would recommend better drinks/better service at Broken Spirits or Midnight Oil :)

The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.
