This place was one of the fastest shopping experiences I have had. They have three suit specials starting at $199 which gets you 3 suits, 3 ties, 3 socks and 3 shirts. They also have higher quality 3 suit deals for $399 $499 etc. I was in and out in about 30 mins which included measuring for hemming the pants. They have an onsite alliteration service as well. I couldn't have been more pleased with my suit-buying experience. I'm 38 and the last time I "bought" a suit was with my Dad when I was about 11, so I really had no idea what to expect. All of the associates were friendly and helpful and no one was at all overbearing when I was first just browsing. Everybody I interacted with was caring to direct me to suits that were within my budget and I felt no pressure to upgrade or upsell whatsoever. It was such a relief to be treated respectfully, and I'm also quite pleased with the two suits I purchased! (Plus socks, ties, and shirts were included in the deal) What truly blew me away was that I came in with my 3 kids, all age 6 and under, and my sales associate Faye was amazing with them! The personal touch she provided to make sure they each had some input on which suits looked handsome on Daddy was so thoughtful and she was able to get them all to sit quietly while I tried on a couple pairs of pants. These are really really cheap suits, shoes were ok for the price. I originally came here to get a blazer to match my pants, the salesman was trying to BS me in that it is impossible to find a blazer that matches my pants. And was determined to sell me a $100 suit, which mind you, I look like a complete clown in. He keeps saying it was my size, but the last time I bought a suit I'm pretty sure did not fit me like a crop top. Your better off going to Kohl's, atleast they have better quality suits. I had to buy a suit here for a wedding & the lady that helped me was rude. She just handed me my coat rather than helping me into it. She was demanding. She acted like she was doing me a favor. When I picked up my suit I brought back my shirt because it was the wrong size & she pointed out that it was slim fit (thanks for the tip, but it's for me not you, fatty.) Today marked the first day I actually went inside Friar Tuxedo after passing by it several times and not to mention I had to go in with my 2 year old daughter to try on my tux making sure it fit well prior to my mother's big day and as soon as we stepped foot in the facility we were greeted right away with the upmost respect and professionalism you could ask for by Jenna Raymond. She right away asked if we needed any help and I explained to her I was coming to pick up my tuxedo for an upcoming wedding and seeing as how I was a dad with a two year old daughter she quickly grabbed my tuxedo and accommodated me with space by giving us access to the biggest dressing room she had as if she already knew what I was thinking. She then proceeded with giving her professional opinion about how my tux was fitting. After everything was done she made sure to ask the proper questions if I were to pick up the tuxedo at the West Covina location where I originally went to get fitted or if Montclair was easier for me to go toand that right there shows me she pays attention to detail which is a big deal to me being an Army veteran and all. My overall experience was great thanks to Jenna in which she deserves all the recognition for how she professionally handled herself and I know that for all my future tuxedo rentals I will definitely be going back to Friar Tuxedo all thanks to the wonderful service I received today! read more

Excellent service from the salesperson; great job on the tailoring. Prices were competitive and the quality of the clothing is excellent. For the quality of the product and service this place provides, everything is over priced here. If you are absolutely certain which size, style, and material for what price you are getting, this is a decent place to shop. However if you have any doubts, do not make a purchase. Almost 90% of their products require certain level of tailor modifications. 3 Day Suit Broker charges you between $6 to depends what you need to modify for this service. This fee you are paying for modification can easily eat up your savings here making your purchase almost equivalent as shopping at local malls. Moreover, once you have your blazer, vest, slacks etc. modified, you will never be able to exchange or return them. The manager will tell you by law they cannot resell it with an annoying smile. Had a problem with tailoring time limits.. and they tailored a short notice that they really could have said no... they were extremely polite and catering to my needs.. the suits are not the best, but by far not the worst. . My husband and I have looked for affordable suits that fit him for years. I guess we had to move to California to find one. 3 Day suit broker was AWESOME!! Imad was our Sales associate and he really knows his business. He told my husbands suit size and pant size just by looking at him. He didn't push the highest price suits he totally listened to our request and made it happen. He was very kind and informative. We walked out purchasing 3 suits and having them custom fitted by Tailor who also was quick and nice. We picked up his suits the next week and the pants were a little snug so right there they fixed them and everything fit like a glove. He feels professional and looks awesome. What a hassle! I don't know why its called 3 Day Suit Broker it took two and a half weeks for my suit to be done. I was told I would be called when my suit was ready but I never received a call. My brothers and cousin also went there to get suits for a wedding and all had issues. All of there suits were not fitted right or were unfinished and they were forced to take them back and wait for a few more days. read more

The selections are great, they have currently 11/5/2013 three promotions, 2 suits, 2 socks, 2 shirts, and 2 ties all at different prices $199.00, $299.00 and $399.00. I highly recommend this place. From the pricing to the customer service and all the way to the timelines of the alterations. I walked in expecting to pay around $300 to $500 for a suit but I didn't even go over $250. The customer service was great and very speedy. I think his name was Alfredo who helped me and was very thorough. I received my suit after a week for alterations and we had a small issue but they went above and beyond to fix it. I attempted to go to this location at 7:45pm on a Friday, which states they are open until 8. I know it was last minute but the store open sign was off, the lights were dimmed, and the gates where halfway closed. Not very inviting, if you don't stay open until 8pm then change your closing time. I returned to the store Saturday, and needed a coat altered by Sunday evening and it couldn't be done. I've been here before as well and they couldn't have it ready in time. If you can't alter suits for customer needs, maybe you need to hire more people to do alterations! I went to a nearby store that altered an entire suit in a few hours. read more

Great place to purchase a wedding suit. The manager is excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. We were so happy with the service, we have referred 2 people since. Just got a job that requires a few suits and after several co workers talking about this place I decided to give it a shot. Now I have done the other big named places and retail stores, but I am happy I decided to go to tdsb. The service was top notch, they help you as soon as you walk in. And for my money, the prices can't be beat with the quality of the suits not suffering. For the price of 1 suit at other places I was able to get two suits and then some. The only reason they didn't get full marks is only the fact that they didn't have many three button suits. Not entirely their fault, but as I don't want to spend 500 on one three button suit or drive all the way to LA it is what it is.
