The service here is awesome I completely forgot to get my servers name so I can praise him but this being my second time here, both servers I had were great. The only reason I take 1 star away is for a suggestion, as a mother and this being a family restaurant, there was no changing table in the restroom so I found a secluded booth away from others (at least 4 tables away) to change my baby's diaper. No one could see me because it was in the corner and another customer knew what I did after I was done and gave me an extremely dirty look. So please for the comfort of use parents PLEASE put a changing table in the restroom. There is plenty of room in the handicap stall. Other than that thank you!!! read more

Don't know why but tonight my friend and I were ignored for about 20 minutes. Was about to walk out when the server noticed and came over. Food was good but the server was not good at her job. When I went to pay I used $100 for a $36 tab and she brought me back a $5. When I told her about the mistake she very condescendingly said, "Oh um I guess I'm sorry about that," with a smirk that seemingly suggested she did it on purpose. Third time was still not a charm. First visit was right after initial opening. My chimichanga was greasy AND cold. Husband had steak fajitas that consisted of 4 skinny strips of super tough meat disguised under a mound of onions. We chalked it up to being busy and new. Second time was not memorable but the last time was. I ordered Arroz con Pollo. Described as strips of chicken with onions, peppers and mushrooms. Huge plate set in front of me with a couple pieces of chicken and soggy veggies. I tried to cut the chicken pieces with my fork and it wouldn't cut through. Used my knife and already knew it was waaay over cooked. It. Was. Horrible. My husband wouldn't even try it. Waited 40 minutes for our ticket after I said I couldn't eat my food. Waiter brought a "complimentary" order of sopapillas. I've never had sopapillas made from deep fried flour tortillas ??!!! Laughable. Didn't take my petrified chicken off the bill because I ate all the beans which apparently is considered half of the meal. Absolutely unbelievable. Save your money. Go to Taco Bell on the other side of King Soopers instead of this joint. read more

After reading some reviews I was not looking forward to a prearranged dinner here but it was fabulous. We had a large group (14) and they treated us very well. I had a chicken dish with peppers, mushrooms and onions, which was delicious and my husband enjoyed his shredded beef burrito. I also had leftovers to bring home so the portion sizes were good too. I've been gluten free for over 10 years and this was a common experience a decade ago, but today? When I saw them building an extra room I was so excited that they were going to have an outdoor patio that overlooked Aurora reservoir. Unfortunately they enclosed it. We ate here three days after opening on a Friday night and were VERY impressed. The place was slammed but we got a table for 5 fairly quickly considering the crowd...Our server's name was Flavio and he was the absolute BEST. Our food came out quickly. They were out of what I wanted (opening week is going well I guess!) but Flavio was overly accommodating and I ended up with way more food than I could ever eat! This Mexican restaurant has a nice environment inside with lots of color and Mexican music - however, the service is terrible, the food is mediocre, and the prices are way too high. No one smiles when you enter or says thank you when you leave. Even our waiter was unfriendly. We couldn't get water refills unless we asked for one. The plates were hot but the food "not so much." I ordered the two burrito combination which came on a very large plate. They give you red chili on the burrito unless you pay a dollar more for their green chili. We have been to many Mexican restaurants and have never had to pay extra for green chili. The shredded beef burritos were more tortilla than beef. The beans and rice dominated the plate. Rice and beans cost pennies. My wife's chili relleno came without a chili inside - deep fried dough with cheese. Large combinations are $12.95 (add a $1 extra for green chili) but worth about $8.95. In addition, the salsa for the chips was watered down like soup. They also provide misleading coupons. The coupon we received in the mail was "Seniors eat for 1/2 off on combinations #1 through 32-Thursday's only- until 4-22-17." When my wife and I (both 55+ per the requirement) went in with the coupon, they said that only one senior could eat for 50% off, as each senior needed their own coupon. But, their coupon says "Only one coupon per table." They said they would only honor a one person discount. This is VERY dishonest because the coupon says "Seniors eat for 1/2 off." As a result, we will NEVER eat at any 3 Margaritas again. Dishonesty, mediocre food, and high prices are not a winning recipe for a dining value. read more

Just don't. 3 Margaritas is hands down the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food from the roach coach food truck at work is better than this. Where to begin, my burrito was bland and tasteless and more on par with a $5 burrito from a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. My brother's chicken mole was basically a few strips of chicken coated in syrup. And the fajitas lacked flavor. It seemed like the staff knew the restaurant was sub par, all of our waiters seemed disinterested and spent most of their time staring at the ceiling or floor. At least the house margarita was strong, probably in an attempt to make you forget about the quality of the food. The best part of the meal was the store bought ice cream they served my mother for her birthday. If your family is in the mood for Mexican, try Taco Bell across the street. read more

We have been waiting with eager expectations for 3 Margaritas to open for over a year now. We went on opening weekend and what a let down it was. If you know true authentic Mexican food, you know that the majority of the food was not freshly made and likely came from a can. Our margaritas tasted of water down Sweet and Sour mix. Great Mexican food. These people are very proud of their family heritage and history of the restaurant, which is kind of fun because that pride comes out in the service and product that they present. I don't go here as often as I probably should, because I just forget it's there. The location is kind of out-of-the-way. Great for families. One night I showed up about five minutes before closing to get an order to go, and I was a little nervous about that because I didn't know if they would be willing to accommodate me. They did accommodate me, gave me great tasting, hot food that didn't seem like it was the leftovers from the end of the day, and they were very nice about it! If I remember right, they even threw in some extras and made some recommendations that I hadn't thought of before, that really ended up making the meal. I was so appalled at the fact that I could have gone across the street to Taco Bell and spent under ten dollars for what I paid thirty dollars for at this place. I have never met Mexican food I didn't like.... but somehow this place has changed that completely!! From the tomato paste mixed with water presented as salsa.. to the soggy quesadillas... and the. The ultimate betrayal; a chimichanga that looked exactly like the soggy quesadillas!! It was horrendous and even the margarita wasn't authentic! My family and I have anxiously awaited for this location to open for over a year! After the year wait we were very disappointed! We sat in the bar area during happy hour and they weren't even busy. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to our table I finally got up and walked to the bar which the MANAGER was bartending. After waiting for our drinks to be made for 10 more minutes we ordered food and it took about 45 minutes for the food to come out. Our waiter didn't bring us the food and never once came back and checked on us. When he finally came he brought the check and didn't even take the piled high plates on the table. When we opened the check it was over $100 dollars for 3 people. They had over charged us $30 dollars worth of drinks and food we didn't even order. It took the waiter 4 times to even remotely get it fixed. We finally talked to a manger who didn't even do anything but make the bill right and that was all!! After poor poor service and overpriced everything we will not be going back or recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your time or money!! read more

Will not be coming back here. We ordered 2 of the $9.00 margaritas and quickly realized there was no alcohol in the drinks. Apparently the bartender "forgot" to put in the tequila. WHAT??? Who does that? Our waiter was insincere and could have cared less. No apologies. Don't waste your time and money on this DUMP! It is close to my house and we have eaten there several times with the food and service being just okay. We were there on Friday night with a much different experience. Right off the bat noticed how disgustingly dirty the place was. We had a party of 6 and were seated right away. We then sat there for 20 minutes with not one person coming to our table to even take a drink order. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant and very visible to all of the wait staff. Waiters kept walking by and just ignoring us. We even went up to the front hostess desk and asked if we could please get a waiter to our table. They just looked at us and shrugged their shoulders. I was finally able to get the attention of our waiter. We had 2 small children with us and we asked if they could please at least take our drink order and get some water. He reached into his apron took out some straws threw them on the table and walked away. We waited another 15 minutes. Still no one came to our table. I could see other people were having similar issues with the service. The one table next to us got the wrong order and the waiter never came back to their table to address the issue. We ended up leaving after 35 minutes. Several other people walked out when we did. The worst part is that the manager was standing by the front door when we left with 4 other employees just standing around. They clearly could care less about their patrons. Guess everyone their that night was just an inconvenience to them. There are so many great restaurants in town. Don't waste your time on this place!!! read more

They should rename this place... "The 2 Clowns". This was our third AND FINAL time going to this restaurant. The first time was on a busy Saturday night. The place was packed and we fully expected slower service. That's completely understandable. But not time coming to a complete stand still for service. We chalked the first visit up to the crowd. Second visit, late afternoon, almost dinner time. Again slow, forgetful service and waiting for the check took as long as eating the entire meal. Finally yesterdays visit..... noontime Maybe the place was 1/4 full. We walk in the front door. And waited...and waited and waited. Is it seat yourself day? Finally one of the 3 waiters that are always there comes up and asked if we would like a seat?.... Really we've been standing there for at least 5 minutes and he asks if we would like a seat. ( meet Clown #1) So we walk about 15 feet and get a table. He hands us each a menu and Poof!!! he's gone. Doesn't ask if we would like something to drink or say your waiter will be here shortly.... nothing just walks away. So after about 5 minutes a lady stops by with a basket of chips and salsa. Poof!!! she's gone. 13 more minutes pass (we've now been seated for 18 minutes) and the guy who seated us ( Clown #1) comes past and asks has anyone taken our order yet.. now picture this...the menu's are still on the table. No napkins, No silverware and he can't figure that out. So he asks have we decided what we would like to drink? Ya I would suspect after 18 minutes we could have narrowed that decision down. We give him our drink order and I know better.... before he goes Poof!! again, I better tell him our meal order too. He was already starting to turn away as I blurted it out. He had almost made it away again but he can't fool me twice. So off he goes with our order. 3 minutes later our drinks arrive, Things are looking up... Well we had hope.... So now the clock ticks away another 14 minutes and another waiter shows up with our food. (meet clown # 2) He has no ides who ordered what and couldn't figure out what was on each plate. So we sound off what we ordered and he proceeds to place a 400 degree plate down on top of my had that had been resting on the table the entire time. Then he says be careful the plates are hot.. REALLY!!!!?? Then he asks is there anything else he can get us........ Silverware and napkins would help I believe. Now don't forget... We got our drinks at the 21 minute mark and 14 more minutes had passed, my glass was just about empty at that point when the silverware finally showed up. And you guessed it... POOF!!!! Clown #2 disappears. We finish our meal surviving on slurping the melted ice in our cups. Then Clown #2 passes by and asks are we finished... yes we are finished, so he starts to pick up our plates and as he's doing that he asks "Oh would you like something more to drink?" NO! just get me the check so I can get the hell out of here. It was now after 1PM. So if you have hours to sit around. Are able to eat spicy meals without anything to wash it down and like to ice your hand occasionally... then this is the place for you. Honestly if they would get rid of those old waiters who have been there since the opening and replace them with a professional staff, the place just might stay in business. We've eaten here at least a dozen times, and it's always good but rarely great. The wait staff are outstanding, the food is generally good, the margaritas are good too. If you come at off times sometimes it takes a while to get your order; if you come at peak times sometimes there is a wait. I disagree that the portions are small, I think they are on par with other restaurants but you have to read whether you're getting a single burrito or a meal. I think their prices are fine for the food and the area. Last night I ordered a chicken burrito but it came to me as shredded beef. Our server noticed and wanted to switch it out; I declined. It really didn't matter to me. He brought us free sopapillas instead, which was really kind. My only criticism is that they could do some more detailed cleaning; I've noticed dust and splashes on the walls and decor and when a restaurant doesn't seem clean I worry about the kitchen.
