An optimistic 4star. Given their delayed start and full tables from day 1, I think they've managed to have a great opening. Our party of 3 each had a different margarita, and I preferred mine - one with mezcal. The beef burrito was prepared with arrechera beef and not hamburger, as many places do. Nice! The food and service were terrible. I ordered a menudo on a Friday, which means the Menudo should have been freshly cooked that day as they do not serve Menudo Monday through Thursday. To begin, the menudo was extremely salty to the point where it was not enjoyable, I added water from my cup to the menudo to try and balance it out, I added about 3/4 of my cup into the soup and i mixed it around and it was still too salty!!! I even tried adding extra lemon into my soup and nothing seemed to help. The soup did not taste like menudo at all it tasted like pure salt and I could even see salt at the bottom of the bowl. On top of that, I was sat at a table right next to other people (hence no social distancing) there was barely room for my family and I to move our chairs and get out. They sat people all around our table and there was only a distance of a foot or less, this was also two months ago Im not sure what the regulations were but there is still an ongoing pandemic and I felt very uncomfortable. Overall, I have a family of five including myself and we ordered three menudos and two kids meals, and only two horchata drinks; the bill came out to over $90. The food was definitely not worth the price, I wouldn't have to pay $13 for a bowl of water with a pound of salt at home. My daughter also ordered nachos from the kids menu and it came with beans, she tried to but absolutely couldn't eat it because it was over salted and only tasted like salt. I recently tried a change of scenery and tried out Maggiano's I paid $70 for my entire family to eat and three of us ordered coffee and we got an entire entree and then the main meal that came with both Lasagna and ravioli plates for each of us and dessert at the end!!! The food was not over salted and the place was not crammed and they spaced customers out, the waiter also checked on us frequently despite being busy. Will not be coming to 3 Margaritas ever again!!!!! Would not recommend to anyone, please learn how to cook and how to treat brown customers do not treat other races better than others. read more

Pretty good Mexican food! The Tacos Mexico (steak tacos with avocado) and fried Chile relleno were delicious, steak fajitas were good, and our kids enjoyed their side tacos and kids burrito. Unfortunately the House Margarita that I ordered was awful. Luckily for me, my husband traded me for his Original Marg which was much better. The Orig came in a small dainty glass; not quite his style. The hostess and serving staff was friendly and attentive. We will try it again! read more

We went to this restaurant with somewhat low expectations, wanting to just try a new place. My husband overall enjoyed his food and wouldn't mind going back (though he did admit it's over priced a bit) but my experience was not great. First off, our waitress seemed to have a hard time understanding us as some of our requests were not followed through with. But the main issue was the following: they brought my food out and I enjoyed my first few bites, thinking it tasted better then I expected. Then they came out with a new plate saying they gave me the wrong one and they wanted to exchange plates. They had given me all cheese enchiladas instead of one chicken, one beef, and one cheese. I said I was enjoying it and no new plate was necessary but they insisted I get what I ordered. Well the meat enchiladas weren't that great which is on me, I ordered it and it's possible it was just because they were corn tortilla enchiladas, but again they didn't get the order right. There was no cheese enchilada. There were two types of beef. Then the waiters explains that's what the menu said but it was not what the menu said, nor what I specifically ordered. So to make it "better", they brought out a side of cheese enchilada, which again didn't taste as good as the one they took from me bc it had a different sauce. Normally, this would just be frustrating, but for this pregnant woman, it almost made me cry. The beans and rice were good but not sure I'll ever want to spent that sort of money again after such a poor experience. read more

Ordered 4 takeout dinners right at dinner time on Sunday, and was surprised when they said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. Business was slow. Drove there in 12 minutes and everything was ready and waiting, and everything was just as ordered and super TASTY. Mariscos Jarochos was a huge and tasty seafood dish of crab, mussels, shrimp, scallops, octopus and white fish in a tasty sauce with rice and salad. My wife had ground beef nachos, and my sons had seafood enchiladas (ordered extra spicy), and a burrito colorado. Everybody said their food was great and exactly as ordered. I am a harsh critic of Mexican food. I am half latina. All I can say is this is the closest I've found to homemade that I've found in Colorado. It's not over processed like the national chains, it's not over-salted, the tamales are legit and done right. My mom loves the carne asada, my daughter loves the bean burritos, and I love the enchiladas and tamales, and the fajitas were yummy, too. We discovered this restaurant a week and a half ago and have been three times already. Thank you for your awesome customer service - the young man who helped us was great. Super yummy. I love their seafood enchiladas. The rellenos taste like my mom's! The margaritas are amazing! Theyvhave a skinny version that I really enjoy. Service is excellent and usually pretty quick. We eat here 2-3 times per month as it is the only real good Mexican in the area. read more

Mediocre Mexican food at High End Mexican food prices. Everything was fairly bland and there's was no offer of any hot sauce or anything to spice it up. Carne Asada was just ok. I am not sure where to start... The food is horrible, we would have been better off going to Del Taco. I had the shredded beef burrito smothered. The amount of lettuce on the top was way too much, the green chili was more like gravy, and I am not sure what they season their beef with but it was awful. My friend ordered a taco and enchilada, the meat in the Taco looked raw and had the same weird flavor as my burrito. Our server obviously had too many tables assigned to him as getting his attention was next to impossible. I would like to think the restaurant is working out new opening bugs but I don't think the food can be blamed on that, although the service COULD be. I seriously doubt we will be back. read more

Love this place. Nicolas is the owner and he makes things right! We had a original margarita and we thought it was fine. But our waiter can back and asked "did you get three or two glasses out of the shaker?" We only got two out of it. He said that's not right you should be able to get three full glasses (two in shaker) one for your full glass that was also pored at the table. He goes and gets a new one because the first one wasn't right. They treat you right there. The food has always been great. read more

Worst Mexican food we've ever had. Everything was either bland or weird flavored. Tamale was hard (corn meal dough and meat) like it had been baking for days. Had to search the chili relleno for a hint of any green chili, the tacos had approximately 4 chips of tomato on each. We had a coupon which the waiter failed to deduct, and he disappeared after bringing the receipt so we couldn't even question it. Certainly wish we had read the other reviews before going. I ordered a Colorado shredded beef smothered burrito. The burrito was 60% rice, 20% beans and 20% beef chunks. The green chili was thickened chicken broth with a hint of canned green chili, no tomatoes, onions or chunks of pork, the guac was the only thing that was OK. The margarita was sweet and sour, a bit of orange flavor and a pass with the cap of tequila. It was Taco Bell at 3 times the price. The service was very very very slow but there was only 3 or 4 tables. No lunch menu on weekends and the rest of the food is really over priced for what you get. $12.75 for a "combo" with 2 Tacos, tasteless rice and beans, Really! read more

The food was great! Large portions, excellent flavor! But the server we had was horrible. I ordered a drink called the kiss of a dragon. It was horrible! He never came to see if the drink was to my satisfaction. He didn't really check on us. And when he did finally stop so I could ask for water, he brought HOT water! Gosh ... we have been regulars since moving here a year ago, even taking advantage of senior discount. Last week, a nose dive happened--senior is now just a taco, or enchilada, or tostada for $5.95 vs. the half price offering from the 18 combo plates. OK, we ordered a cheese enchilada. The tortilla needed a knife to cut it--it must have been old/stale. But the cheese within--what cheese. I opened mine up--giving up on the tortilla to each the cheese part and it was a gooey saucing with a hint of cheese--the color was more reddish than anything. I hate to say it but the refried beans were the best part. So disappointed. read more

We snuck in here before 5PM. We've tried as a family to get in here a few times but it's been packed since opening. I've had a lunch here at the bar before though and it was good. On this visit the food was good. I had the chicken soup and a guacamole salad. The guac was good, not great. The soup was plentiful and hit the spot. Lots of fresh veggies in it. My wife had a salad and said it wasn't as good as our usual Mexican spot. A little lacking on the seafood topping was part of her complaint. They have XX on draft and Horchata. Bueno! The staff was friendly although our waiter was lacking and we often found ourselves reaching out to other staff to get some needed things. Just ok good! My honey and I both ordered the fajitas. They did arrive piping hot but Not a ton of flavor. Good portion. I couldn't finish mine, so I asked for a box. The box came but the waitress removed the tortillas. I asked for a few to include in my take home box (she seemed irritated) and brought back 2 tortillas. I'm pretty sure I had 4 left. Food was good, waiter was awesome. He didn't try to upsell us anything and in fact saved us money by suggesting a different menu item. This was very thoughtful of him as most places won't do that. My vegetarian enchiladas were great! And the margarita was on point! Super yummy. The guacamole wasn't the best. It tasted like the pre-made bag stuff my work uses. If you don't care about the guac then you should try this place out. Who knows, maybe they ran out of avocados and had to resort to the frozen stuff that day. Their free salsa and chips were good.
