They put down floor covers to protect the floor as they came in and out with boxes and furniture, and they were efficient, fast, and professional. They worked hard and stayed on task and on schedule. I cannot stress enough how much I would avoid 3 men movers in Austin. I feel like crying I get so upset when I think about this move. No mattress protectors, no floor coverings, no booties, no gloves, no consideration or respect for our things or our space. They used my Dyson air filter machine as a DOOR STOP obviously they eventually knocked it over and it's broken. They showed up with 3 boys smaller than 5'9, super small skinny guys, they struggled to move even the most basic household items. A 2 bedroom move .5 miles down the road took 13 - THIRTEEN - hours. 3 men movers from Houston was incredible and they moved me from a Houston 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom to Austin in 12 hours (including the 3 hour drive!!!). 3 men movers in Houston was awesome, the women packers, the men movers, but here in Austin I would recommend avoiding at all costs. Boxes were carried upside down, boxes were dropped, I still can't get over the fact that they failed to protect our mattresses - the items were now supposed to sleep on everyday. They didn't use the TV boxes, they ate my food and left the trash around the house. I really cannot stress the horribleness of this move enough. Christian was kind but he was also the only one large enough to be a mover and the only one that could communicate in English. Avoid at all costs. $3000 move, $1500 pack - I would've paid double for a professional service to get it done in half the time with all my things clean and intact. read more

I have used 3 Men Movers for several moves over the years and they are always on time and professional, and Cristian and his crew maintained that high standard I expect from 3MM. They are so fast; if I did a time lapse it would only be a few seconds. They showed up, looked things over, got to work and I turned around and two rooms were already on the truck. I would have still be on box number 6 in the same hour it took them to load (going down stairs) four rooms. I can't recommend them enough. They should have a rating system past 10... 15 for Exceptional, Amazing, Completely Awesome. Luis and his crew were fantastic to work with, they arrived on time and were incredibly fast workers. The entire crew was careful with my items and were able to complete a 1 bedroom + office POD unload on the 3rd floor in just under two hours. The team was also able to put my bed into a loft space and helped with assembly during that time period. Communications with Luis and other members of the company was clear and direct, and the estimate on timing was very accurate. The pricing for the move was very reasonable, especially considering how quick the team was and the amount of work it took to move everything up two flights of stairs. I used 3 man movers twice when I was in Houston. The service was great. Movers were very professional. However, this is the first time I used their service in Austin. Not sure if they have different standards here. The entire moving process was not efficient at all and took much longer than it's supposed to, I have much less stuff and much shorter route compared my previous cross-city moving, but it took 3 additional hours! The movers were taking breaks, talking on the phone calls, wrapping unnecessary plastic stuff, and I basically can only see 2 movers around. The movers we originally hired, Lori Murchinson at Moving Right Along ATX (avoid at all costs!!! absolutley terrible) failed to provide services and left us scrambling on a Saturday. We called 3 Men Movers and within 15 minutes they were able to save our move and schedule us for an afternoon move. Greg and the guys showed up, when they said they would, in a huge truck (that would fit all of our stuff) and were super courteous, respecful, professional and fun. They wrapped everything, arranged our furniture like master tetris players and we had fun with them along the way. All of our stuff arrived in one piece, unscathed and they never stopped hustling (even though they are paid by the hour). They understood our time contraints and worked feverishly to help us save money - who does that!! Terrible experience. They chipped nearly every single doorframe in our fresh BrAND NEW door frames using their buggy instead of carrying boxes. After a dozen phone calls, pictures, they finally sent our a repairman. Repairman said the damage was much too expensive. :men movers just refunded us our $900 and we had to pay $4000 to repair all the frames. Absolute sham. Do not ever book 3 men movers for your move, if you care about your mental sanity. I had a move booked for 8 am on Saturday. This was a very intentional time because I live on an extremely busy street on downtown Austin and parking can be difficult to find. I also live in an apartment so elevators can get busy, so I thought 8 am would be a great time to get everything done quickly. At 8:05 I still hadn't heard from the movers. I was told they would call when they were on the way. I called 3 men movers and told told them the situation and was on hold with them for several minutes while they tried to get a hold of the moving team. At 8:45 they still weren't able to get in touch with anyone. They said they would figure something out and get back to me. At 9:15, I had a different team call me and say they would be there around 10. They arrived at 10, but of course, by then, there wasn't much parking left so they had to park across the street. Because of them arriving late and having to park far, my move took longer than it needed to, entirely because of 3 men movers. I had everything ready to go for them and even was using rented plastic boxes which are extremely easy to move since they stack and have their own wheels. The crew that showed up was nice but slow. They didn't seem very experienced and we more so lifters than they were movers. Nothing was strategically placed or wrapped. It was annoying how much we had to supervise. They took five and a half hours for a 1 bedroom apartment, lol. I've moved several times before and have had moves done in 3 hours or less with 2 people, let alone with 3. Sometimes the third person was just standing around. And I felt like when they would go down to load the truck, they would purposely take long to come back up because it took unusually long. Had the original crew I had booked showed up on time, I think my move could have been done in half the time. What a waste of money. Also, they offered me $50 off the first hour for the "inconvenience" hahaha, which btw I didn't even get... frankly they should have given me 50% off because of how much slower the move was because of them. And the cherry on top, they took my apartment keys with them at the end when they finished the move so I couldn't leave to run errands and had to sit around waiting for them to show back up. Save your sanity and money and book elsewhere. I will never recommend 3 men movers to anyone. read more

Clearly, I wouldn't post this rating but after taking it up with customer service, I received rude, short and unprofessional reply's that I wanted to share my experience. I'll start by saying I work long hours during the week and had to select a PM weekend move so that I could have time to pack. When selecting a PM move it stated that movers would come after morning moves. The morning of my move I went to grab a coffee. I get a call about 9:39am saying they would arrive at 11am. I stated I would not be ready and that's why I had selected a PM move which I took as meaning late afternoon. The mover stated they had no morning moves (would have been nice to know the day before or when booking) and that they were ready to start. The movers arrived a little after 12. I only had few furniture items for them to move, bed , couch, coffee table, side table. They took 2.5 hours to load that into their truck. It seemed like the goal was to milk the clock. I was just putting the furniture in storage so nothing had to be assembled. After dragging their feet to load what fit in a studio apt, the movers let me know they were on their way across the street approximately 75meters from the driveway they were parked. I told them I would meet them over there. After 15 mins of them sitting in the truck they still didn't move. I walked across the street and waited another 15-20 min before I got a reply that they were on the way (mind you I can see them from across the street). I waited another 5-7 min until they finally arrived. This was absolutely intentional so that they could hit the three hour mark. I didn't find it necessary to sit in the truck for over 30 min, when I could see them from the storage unit. I reached out several times to customer service and was blamed for not being ready. If that is or isn't the case, I still was left to move what wasn't ready for them. Due to them coming as the first move of the day even though I scheduled the late move. This being said, there were only few pieces to move and not heavy. Three men taking 3 hrs to move few pieces was obnoxious and obvious what the mission was. Customer service continued to blame me and offered only an apology for showing up early. They did not acknowledge any other issue related to the extra hour or milking the clock by sitting 30 mins before driving 75 meters. I was scammed and would not recommend this company. Also, if you want a blanket to cover a piece of furniture, it's 12$ per blanket. read more
