Used their service recently for my move from Austin to Houston. Andres was my crew leader with Nick and Michael. They were very efficient, respectful of my time and residences, and handled my belongings with reasonable care. The quote process was also very responsive, reaching out to me within a few hours of my request. Preparation was also good as they go over your move details about a week in advance. They also sent their 3men movers profile of my crew leader including a photo and experience level. I had a good ease of mind regarding the rate since it's a sign-in, sign-out on their tablet with a 2hr minimum and a prorated 15min after. Overall a positive moving experience read more

Really pushing their packing services now, won't move you if you have any box open when they arrive unless you pay for extra people they send to pack you. It's a shame they sent a lazy crew, with the worst "Can't Do" attitude, all they were looking for was a reason not to work this move. I understand that it is Sunday, but if you don't want to do your job don't go to work and waste my time. I've used 3 men movers almost exclusively for the last 15+ years, never had this issue. I quickly recovered and I refuse to anyone but 3 men movers. I recently added the packing and then the packing services. The ladies come out and care pack each item and label your boxe . Fraudulent service. Hired them to move a 2 bedroom apartment, pack and move. The packers took 7 HOURS to pack one bedroom and one bathroom and pack a kitchen in a small apartment. When complained to management SHEILA, she wasted two hours and stated that she can not do anything she never sent the movers and LEFT US STRANDED. Juan Cruz was our crew leader, and he and his two colleagues were all so nice. They did an outstanding job! Everything was moved carefully, with zero damage. Placed exactly how we requested, and they were all great guys. I was very impressed that they kept their positive attitudes and smiles when they had to carry our heaviest furniture to the third floor of our new home. We had a good experience up until we realized they forgot one of our mattresses at our old house after they left - minor issue, right? Well, apparently it is a very complicated and challenging puzzle to get ONE mattress brought to us by a moving company with a FLEET of trucks and professional moving crews. I have called customer service three days in a row and they say they are trying to get ahold of our movers -- apparently only the people that moved us can fix the problem (?) but the move lead has never called us to schedule a time to get a mattress to us. But there are no other solutions offered. During today's phone call they said they could move the mattress, but they would charge us for a moving crew to go out and get it. Huh? We paid you to move the contents of our three-bedroom house, and you left a mattress behind. It's pretty big - how did you miss it? So now we have a mattress at our old house, our landlord is about to charge us to remove it, and the moving company is seemingly trying to wear us down until we give up. Seriously, I don't know why someone can't just get a pickup truck and bring us our mattress - it's only 5 miles away! We would do it if we had a truck. If I knew someone that had a truck in town I would call in a favor just to never listen to 3 Men Movers' cheery hold messages again. When I worked in customer service I would have done something like this on my lunch break. It's what you do when you care about your customers. But it doesn't seem to be what 3 Men Movers does, not even close. read more

My husband and I moved from Houston to Austin the last week of May 2019. We lived on the first floor of our complex and they moved us to the third floor of our other apartment with no elevator. The guys packed up our two bed in 1.5 hours and unpacked in 2 hours. They were efficient, careful, and in sync. They didn't have to talk and figure things out because they were professional and knew what they were doing and worked great as a team. I can't be more thankful for their excellent job. read more

Just completed a move with 3-Men. A little bit different than most perhaps--this move involved taking things from a storage unit and loading and packing them into a 20ft container for overseas shipping to Guatemala. The complexity here was that things had to by ship-tight, literally. Some knowledge of bracing and blocking was required. 3Men sent a first class crew chief to help us. Junior has obviously done packing for containers in the past. there is a real art and science to this, and clearly some visual imagination to be able to pack as tight as he did. It was tight! At the beginning we actuallly thought we might have had too much stuff--but Junior saw it through--literally and figurative. The other two guys in the crew were great as well. But it is clear that Junior loves his work and loves to excel at what he does. It is also obvious that he takes pleasure in pleasing his customers. I am so glad I chose 3 Men Movers. BEWARE!! 3 MEN ROBBERS! 3 Men Movers promise customer service is their number 1 priority. This could not be further from the truth. Not one, but two fridges got damaged, the coffee table and also our 4 poster bed. At a time when they could PROVE that their customers were their number one priority, their only concern was paying us the smallest amount of compensation possible per TxDMV guidelines which they DO NOT point out during any of the pre moving conversations. I feel this is such an important piece of information that should have been VERBALLY communicated with us prior to our move. If they damage anything, the pay out is so small that they really don't care at all if anything actually does get ruined throughout the move. From an ethical standpoint we feel like we have been robbed by them. Without any hesitation, we do not recommend them at all. If your belongings get damaged be prepared YOU will need to pay to have them replaced. We couldn't be more disappointed. read more

This most recent move, Humero and his crew of 4 guys were very professional and got the truck loaded in just 2 hours and unloaded in another 2 hours. Can't say enough about these guys. There isn't any slowing down of any of them. Very professional and caring for all my things. They knew exactly how to disassemble and reassemble my very complicated bedroom suites. I really only have 1 complaint and I hate saying this, but after the move I seen 2 roaches coming out of the boxes I had them move and I have never had a problem with roaches. I have used 3 men movers 3 times (because I'm a masochist apparently) and all in all, have had terrible issues with the punctuality, move itself and now customer service. I would not be writing this review if it wasn't for them, so shout out. I will start chronologically. TL;DR at the bottom 2007 - moved from Cypress to inside the loop - the movers were 3-4 hours late and were pretty rough with my belongings. Nothing was broken but I remember repeatedly asking them to be nicer with my things. 2013 - moved from one address to another in the same zipcode - so this was after my grandfather passed away and we started inheriting all the sentimental stuff. As soon as we started unpacking, we found broken dishware, broken vases, chipped furniture etc. I don't think we formally made a complaint to our CC company but in hindsight, we should've. The damage was extensive and irreplaceable. Thanks guys. 2019 - wow, apparently every 6 years I seem to make the same mistake. Found an affordable piano a little further away from my house. I make a few calls, think I've found an affordable quote (I think we can all guess who). It is a bit of a scramble to get out there but we managed to get everything set up with the movers, a majority of it being "on hold". (3men, if you are reading this, PLEASE GET DIFFERENT HOLD MUSIC) I was quoted a price that was similar to the other services I had been looking at. I think "great okay, this is fine". Get there, do the move, no issues (thankfully). Get it home and in total, I spent almost double what I was initially quoted getting it moved. Customer service called me and I mentioned that I was unhappy with what I paid and their service contract and they almost automatically start spamming me emails with the contracts and this and that. I get the CYA move in business, but it seemed excessive to the point of just being rude. Also the numbers didn't add up? So I have no idea what is going on with that. But I'm done dealing with their customer service just to be spammed emails and be belittled. tl;dr - every 6 years, I made a mistake and hired 3MM. Just don't. Or refer to the tips below. Tips: make sure they explain EVERY charge, don't sign for anything you don't fully understand, or just flat out don't use them. There are TONS of moving companies in Houston, I should've used someone else. Maybe another company won't leave you feeling like absolute garbage about any complaints made. read more

Freddy and his team were amazing. We were concerned that we could not fit all of our furniture and boxes into our POD container, but he was able to Tetris everything in with room to spare. Everything was wrapped carefully yet efficiently and transported from 2 floors, including a piano. They arrived early and finished packing everything in about two hours. I have moved 3 times now and always use 3 Men Movers. I am willing to pay more for quality, and these guys are it! Never have an issue: always polite, quick, and take great care of your belongings. They make sure to wrap up your things and they work efficiently. Every crew I've ever had has been so nice and always takes such great care. Took about 2 and a half hours to move everything this time, which was what I had assumed would be the case. I had Jose and his crew and they're amazing at their job. To be honest, everyone at that company is great at their job; the two women I spoke to to set up the move and who called me after the move to see how it went were kind and professional. This company treated me both badly and with stunning incompetence. They requested a bid form and I sent one in on 6/30. A week later they had not replied and I asked their chat 'agent', "Tia", why not. She gave me guff about a complete address, which I had sent, and a bid form, which I had also sent. At her bidding I sent in another bid form Monday, when I had a week left to move; they promised an estimate in 'three business days; Today, Friday, no estimate. So I asked for one and was told that they can't move me because of 'loose objects'. Nonsense. They were acting out of sheer personal incompetence and hostility. This is *not* how to get and keep clients. I regret that I must give "Tia" and friends the minimum one star. Do not deal with these people for any reason or you will be left high and dry less than a week from your move. read more

DO NOT USE THEM! I called for a quote and this RACIST that answered the phone quoted $165/hr, which is fine. Its really expensive but whatever, I told him that I got a quote for $75/hr...do you know what this RACIST said? Oh you can rent a uhaul and go get some WETBACKS from Home Depot for that! WTH? I am hispanic, this was the most brutal thing i have ever heard. I hired them and everything was done professionally and great! Why pay more when you dont have to?? They put my furniture back together and did not "steal anything" like he said they would. I am really offended and am going to report them to the BBB. use somebody else instead, do yourself a favor.
