Used this company many times since the 90s. Last time was terrible! Movers didn't show until several hours late. We asked for three people and got two. We were moving out of state this time and they didn't tie down things in the truck. When we asked about it, they said things didn't need to be tied. When we got where we were going, literally EVERY piece of furniture was damaged from major shifting. This was late July 2021. At that time, we also paid them to consolidate our storage units left in Katy. We just got back to Katy this week to empty our storage unit. They had thrown items in and damaged so many more things. Wicker items were completely crushed, Crystal/ China that clearly labeled fragile were tossed on top of an 8 ft stack and items were broken. Leather furniture was gauged with items they stuffed too close, and so much more damage. With our first truckload damage, the company was unsympathetic to the damage. We see no reason to bother contacting them again now, as they clearly didn't care before. I would not recommend this company to anyone anymore. They used to be good, but no more. read more

I had hired this company to come to move me and when I did I told them that I had a lot of large antique furniture they were only going to move me up the street when they finally showed up the head man looked at everything and said can you do this tomorrow we been moving all morning ( he was obviously tired and wanted to celebrate the holiday) I told him no I had to be out by midnite tonite he said instead of the 2 1/2 hours I had booked for it would take them 10 hours to move me so sorry I dont have that kind of money he took pictures called someone and the next thing I knew without a word they got in their truck and drove off without a word. this company is not professional they left me stranded and needing to move without any assistance, DO NOT USE THEM they came highly recommended but were horrible here I sit with my boxes and furniture and no way to move it shane on you read more

To be quite honest, I fully expected moving to take a whole day because it had taken days for my husband and I to pack (my one-bed apartment). Hector and his crew had us moved in three hours. When I say moved, though, I mean they wrapped items, disassembled my bed, removed a large TV from its wall mount, loaded boxes, and then got us unloaded, including hauling stuff up narrow stairs, reassembling, and removing the packing wrap. It was incredible. On top of that, the move concierge (Samuel) walked me through what the day would look like as well as how to save time - which saved money since it's billed hourly. This has been my easiest move so far. I've moved 12 times in 8 years across the Houston/South Texas area. Lupe, Matias, and Jose were FAST! They took caution with all my furniture but even more so with my antiques. I was on the fourth floor of a condo with no elevator- they kicked out a 1000sqft apartment in an hour and moved me 50 miles outside the city in excellent time. Unloading was a breeze- I gave some direction and it was unloaded in 30 minutes. They didn't hesitate to tell me about certain pieces they thought needed extra protection and then added more wrapping it them. I signed up for flex move which was my own fault. I was very worried we would get stuck in rush hour traffic but these guys were Fast. They helped me assemble certain pieces and had all the tools necessary to do so! This is round two and if I could give these guys 6 stars or even 10 I certainly would! I used 3 Men Movers back in 2013 and you can see my review here. Not much has changed for me I organized this move from the sea. Only major difference was that brother Mike lives with me now so he was there to supervise the move. In his words, he could have spent the entire move sitting in his chair drinking a beer. I think Victor was lead on this move I could have use the same team as before. That was the first question they asked me but I forgot who the team lead was and was to absent minded to think to read my own review of the last move. No big deal, this company only hires the best. They are the number one movers in the world as far as I am concerned. I'll be moving to Corpus in a year or so and if they can get me there they will most definitely have my business. My only regret was that I was not there to cook them a nice breakfast they certainly earned it. Once again 3 Men Movers, you guys rock!! On a side note I see in a few reviews that there are complaints about this company sending the right sized truck and things of this nature. I find this impossible to believe as with both my moves I was on the phone with the person setting up my move for over an hour and he was insanely complete in his questions of what I wanted moved. From where to where, what floor from and two, how many pieces large and small, and a great deal more. Do not use this company. I had a horrible experience. First, they were 3 hours late. Then, I specifically told them not to go in my bathroom because it's the only room not packed and one member went in anyways. He used the toilet and didn't flush. Then, when unloading my furniture into storage, they took way too long and their reasoning was that it was a far walk. I also gave him my storage lock with 2 keys attached and he only gave me back one key. I called and complained and the company did nothing. We could not be any more happier with our decision to hire 3men Movers. We were able to get them booked on such a short notice. We called for Packers and they were able to get them scheduled the same day that we called. Three women showed up in started tackling packing and they were able to have everything complete within two hours. They did an amazing job. They labeled every box accordingly which made it extremely easy for the movers and for us while unpacking. they even wrapped all fragile items and place them neatly in all the boxes. The next day the movers showed up right on time. They walked the home in every room with us to ensure they were picking up all necessary items. They were very professional and worked very fast. I have given a rating of 2 because the movers told me they will not take the boxes and left me with a yard full of boxes. I have a corolla. There is no way I can take all those huge boxes in my car to a recycle. The next day the moving company calls me and says I could have paid them for a trip to the recycle. The movers never gave me that option they said a complete no. It was frustrating to even organize the whole mess in my yard alone and I really love my environment and don't want to trash anything that can be recycled. Highly disappointed in this company. I had a move scheduled for 2pm today and I got a confirmation call last night so I thought there would be no problems. I was supposed to get a call from the movers between 12-1. No call, okay I waited and then it was 2. I started calling the numbers they have listed on yelp and their website multiple times and all the phone did was either ring or just disconnect. I even sent them a message on yelp an hour ago (it says they reply within an hour).It's 3:20 now, I have yet to get even a call or email. I used 3 Men Movers in October of last year from the River Oaks area to the Greenway/Upper Kirby area. The day started off very poorly, as the movers were late. Problem was, nobody thought telling me was a good idea, so I didn't find out until they were already late (if I had advanced notice, I could have run other errands or something). I was told some odd story about how the original crew that was slated to help me had mechanical problems with their truck, and another crew (about an hour away) was at a move that was canceled or something. It was a very convoluted story. Finally, my move gets started about an hour and a half late. The guys were pretty efficient in getting everything wrapped and loaded, and got out of my old place relatively quickly. The problems started when we got to my new place. They scratched the walls of the new apartment with my furniture, and when putting my bed together, cracked the headboard by tightening a screw too hard. But again, they were fairly efficient, and got everything done pretty quickly. They were also very nice moving things around to get everything to fit. In their defense, my bedroom set was probably a bit big for the room it went into, but that had nothing to do with cracking the headboard. When I answered the customer satisfaction survey, one of the managers called me in the next couple of days, but I was unable to answer. I returned the call, but she was on vacation - I left a message. Never heard back. I called again, left another message, never heard back. This was probably the most irritating thing - for a company that prides itself on customer service, ignoring my calls doesn't seem like the best course of action. This is also why I've decided to review them on Yelp - as I usually don't do this sort of thing - I try to contact the company directly. All-in-all, these guys were pretty reasonably priced, if you don't mind a little damage to your furniture, or unreliable pick up times. I ended up having to miss an entire day of work instead of a half-day due to their being late. As they say, you get what you pay for. read more

Extremely happy with their services. Israel & Gio got their team up and running ASAP. They were prompt, on-time and moved QUICKLY! We had a one-bedroom storage unit that they unloaded in less than an hour. They moved all that into our new home in less than two hours (with three levels in our home to deal with!) they worked very efficiently and quickly. the crew were very responsive and communicative but they did leave a few things behind that i had to carry in my SUV which was bit inconvenient considering i had to go across town to get my items. By no means are they cheap but the last time i hired cheap movers they had damaged my furniture and I found lots of broken dishes. in the end me, my husband, and even my hard-to-impress in-laws were very satisfied with their service and i would definitely recommend them. i especially liked how customer service reached out to me during and after the move to make sure i was satisfied. can't beat that! read more
