If you value your furniture, walls, floors and sanity run fast from this moving company! The crew leader showed up with a bad attitude from the start. He didn't introduce himself or the other two movers. He seemed annoyed when I tried to explain what was ready to move and what would be moving later. One of the movers only spoke Spanish and kept trying to talk to me. I don't speak Spanish. They were very rough with the furniture and stacked it awkwardly in the truck. I now have a dresser drawer that won't easily open or close. I complained how they were handling some of the items so they started to inspect and take pictures to cover their A$$. I asked them to use blankets and not just stretch wrap on a new, highly polished refrigerator and that pissed him off. They dented a wall and denied it (new house). They wouldn't move picture frames. This is one of the reasons I hired a moving company. Several are big and have to be moved by truck. I had to find my own trailer and move later. They left sweaty hand and body prints on multiple walls. I had to repaint the sweat marked areas and fix the dent. After they left, I found multiple thick grease spots on the carpet and tile. Parts of the carpet had to be cut out. The entire time he kept say they are not responsible for anything that gets broken. Like every 10 minutes in a very FU kind of way. Daniel and his team did an amazing job of moving all of my furniture and boxes into the U-Haul I rented for my move from Houston to Las Vegas. They were very careful at wrapping everything in shrink wrap and the blankets I rented. They helped tie things down in the U-Haul and even hauled away unwanted items. Have you ever had a crazy neighbor? Well if you can relate, I hope this helps you pick a mover. A certain British woman posted a scathing review of 3 men yesterday. I am the neighbor that was moving. Let me start by saying that my experience with 3 Men Movers was EXEMPLARY. Both the packing and moving services were above reproach. Now to address her concerns, which in fairness may concern you as a potential client. Were they parked in a fire lane? Yes. Both the sheriff (whom my crazy neighbor called) and the apartment manager ALLOWED them to park there. They were not ticketed and (I'll say again) were allowed by police to park there to load our apartment. Were they parked in front of her car? Yes... for 5 minutes NOT 1.5 hours. They politely moved the truck after getting threatened by the crazy lady. Was I rude to her? You bet! Were the movers? NO. They ignored her after moving the truck because I (and the police and the manager) told them to. It utterly saddens me that some people with see her review and perhaps not hire these men when I (as the paying customer) was so completely satisfied with them and their work. I would ABSOLUTELY hire this team again and this company again, which my family plans to do when we move again next year after our house is built. They were polite, timely, and very careful with our personal belongings. Incidentally, they were also very nice to our son who is 4. He had an awesome time "helping" them. So please to anyone considering this company... pay attention to all of those 5 star ratings from people that have actually paid for the services of this great company and NOT the ravings of a nutter that had a personal vendetta against me. Lenny and the crew were awesome! They did arrive a bit late due to their system being down but they more than made up for it with their swiftness and attention to detail. This company charged me $1200 for a move that went quick and well but a TV that I had left upstairs myself still on a stand to be dissassembled and packed was shrink wrapped and put in an open trailer and transported. Needless to say the TV screen was damaged and they are unwilling to honor my claim. I will never do business with them anymore. I can't honestly express how much these guys saved me! They were thoughtful, kind and patient - moving from the 24th floor of a condo to a detached townhome was no picnic - I know because I tried to do it myself 2 days before giving up and calling these guys. They literally put everything everywhere I asked and them and even helped me with some extra bits that I thought I would have to do by myself. I also had the packing service beforehand - they were so freaking quick it was absurd(ly brilliant that is). They were also courteous - they asked to use the facilities without simply taking the liberty of doing so beforehand. Arranged my move to be the second move on Sunday June 27th. The day of the move I recieved a call stating that the move would be somewhat delayed because the 1st move that they were currently working on had a stalled elevator which would delay the time that would arrive. Around 4 I recieved a call stating that the move was canceled and would be postponed until today Monday the 28th because now they're having a flat on the truck. I explained that since this is a business they would only be able to move while the building was closed as per building management which is 6 p.m. The crew that arrived showed up after 7pm and since they had already moved 2 other homes they were slow as turtles because CLEARLY they are tired. They also informed us that after 1 load they were done for the day so I would either need to book another move for the remaining furniture or pay a second crew to come continue the move. To be clear at this point it is 8:45 p.m. I called 3 men movers office to complain about treatment and their unprofessionalism and was told the best they could do is finish my move Friday the 2nd and discount me a trip charge and 1 hour... I am livid. My lease is over on the 30th and I still have furniture in my office space thanks to their issues they encountered on my original move date. I would be okay if my move were at least a priority but it wasn't. The lady I spoke to when I contacted them to complain thought it was my fault that the move didn't happen on its original date . After researching she apologized but what is an apology when I'm still inconvenienced despite properly planning my move. I also have used 3 men movers several times for my personal and other business affairs. Normally they're really great and professional but I don't know what the issue is at this point. I will never use them again. Not to mention I had to pay my staff to stay late to help on Sunday and now tonight. I'm writing this review at 11:34 pm and they're still unloading. Staff was friendly and professional, and showed up, literally, with three men. All items were moved carefully and efficiently with no time wasted. I have a lot of china, crystal, and family heirlooms that I elected to have their packing personnel pack for me; after unpacking nothing was broken or scratched. They took the time to make sure that all of my furniture was aligned precisely where I wanted it. Make sure you notify them before hand if you need packing supplies etc. because when they say "moving", this specifically and only refers to transferring of boxes and objects; not depositing objects into boxes etc. (a liquor or grocery store is usually a good source for free boxes) read more

Was looking forward to having movers helping me move my stuff into my new apartment. Until the day of the move they had me waiting around all day for them to show up. I scheduled for the second move of the day(includes them calling me an hour before they show up) around 1pm mover calls says he's running late but he will be showing up around 3pm. At 3:45 he calls and says I'm running late but cleaning up at the 1st move and heading your way, I'm 10 minutes away. Time goes by, no one shows. At 5:45 I decide to call the office and they call the movers and say the same story they're 10 minutes away. I said "ok they told me that 2 hours ago". So I wait 10 minutes, 20 minutes. 1 hour later no one is there I call the office again. Gave me 4 different ETA's and finally showed up at 7:30pm. Most of the stuff they were moving was already disassembled. And was only big stuff so should have been a quick move. I spoke with the manager and since they were still putting stuff into the truck at the new place at 9pm he said he would call me the next day to see how the move went. Next day comes...do you think he called? No! Not that good customer service. A representative calls me 2 days later, he had no idea of that bad experience and after I told him how disappointed I was and they weren't efficient with their time all he says was "ok ma'am have a good day". I would like to update my recent post - Leticia you are a rock star - Thank you for making it your personal mission to make me a happy customer. My issues have been resolved beyond my expectations. Thank you again for taking your job seriously and dealing with your customers with perspective and care!! Our move started out like a normal move - fast paced - exciting! Then it happened - we get to the new place and our refrigerator was dropped out of the back of the truck and on to the concrete below, the back of the truck - like 4 feet! One of the movers got hurt in the process which slowed everything down and cost us more money! Now in the claims process and they want to give me $200 for a working refrigerator, not reimburse the extra time it took for one of three being hurt and the food that was lost because they dropped my refrigerator. I understand that accidents happen, but one of the reasons I hired you was because you had insurance...it is time to make this right! We have used 3Men before but not sure if we will again. I realize there is a contract but you also have the ability to look at each instance individually and adjust accordingly. read more

Had a wonderful experience 20 year ago. This year- ugh. Yes, they work fast, but so fast they pay no attention. Only the supervisor spoke English and they ignored my pleas to have things put in certain places - they wanted to simply stack EVERYTHING in the garage. Many pieces of furniture had small nicks and scratches and the boxes that were marked "Fragile" on 5 sides in red ink were placed at the bottom of stacks. I realize you pay by the hour but I would have been glad to pay an extra hour or two to get things done carefully! read more

Reasonable rates. The staff was speedy and efficient. All items were handled and loaded with care. They even disassembled a king size bed and reassembled it with no extra charge. TERRIBLE customer service. I didn't even make it to the quote. I called and was put on hold, which isn't a big deal, I understand things get busy. When I got my call back, the woman on the phone acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. I explained my situation (we are moving from far away and just needed help unloading a few heavy items), and before I could even finish she barged in with a very rude, "Well that's still a move. It's gonna cost the same." Her message was delivered with a spiteful tone, and it didn't get any better from there. We are moving on Memorial Day since we have the day off. When I told her the date, she said in that same, spiteful tone, "You mean mean MEMORIAL DAY? I mean, we're open, but we're gonna up charge you big time for the holiday." Right then and there I said, "Okay, thanks, but I'm not interested." I will NOT be using this company. Ever. If you cannot even value me as a potential customer from an initial PHONE CONVERSATION, how can I trust that any experience after that will be any better? I am literally TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY. I was recommended 3 Men Movers by a couple of my friends Because they were fast, efficient, and on time. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the same. I received a text message at 7:05 AM that my crew was on their way for my 8 start time, but they got there a little after 8. From the beginning the lead person Cesar was not too friendly. Then he began to tell me of things he wouldn't move although when I made my reservations this was never explained to me. Finally with the time running they began the move and although the two other men were very fast, friendly and efficient Cesar the lead person was not as much. I moved from a three bedroom apartment to a home that was less than 2 miles apart and it took them from 8-3:30 to finish. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since they charge by the hour! read more

Don't use this company! I used them based on a prior positive experience. On the second move, after careful instruction on how to move a valuable item, they seriously damaged a family heirloom that cannot be replaced. The heirloom is a solid piece, not fragile, and they had to drop it pretty badly to have been broken in multiple pieces. The movers were deceptive in hiding the damage under a blanket. I discovered it a few days later. 3 Men Movers customer service treated me horribly. They tried to discourage me from pursuing a claim and laughed when I shared the item's long history (WWII era item) and value. The movers lied about how they left the heirloom. 3 Men Movers refused to pay anything. I never complain about anything but this is just ethically wrong. This people are careless and negligent with their customer's property and belongings. I would never hire their service. I have filed a complaint to them, reported them to the BBB and I am getting legal advice to try to get them to pay for the damage caused to both of my houses and my stuff. Stay away. I hire 3 men movers to move our belongings from downtown Houston to the Woodlands. The move went terribly wrong and the crew was negligent with our property. The house that we were moving out of was kept impeccable by us for 6 years and in a few hours this people broke the a 2-inch hole on the wall, left several marks and dings and dents on the walls all over the stairway. Also made huge scratches on the bamboo steps of the stair itself. Beside all the above described, this people caused minor damages on virtually all of our furniture. The new house also suffered minor damages on walls and door frames.However, the most concerning of everything that took place was the damage caused to one of my paintings. The frame was all scratched up and the actually painting itself has damage on the canvas. I paid a little over 1800$ to move within 40 miles and the move was a nightmare. I have in nice way communicated to 3 MEN MOVERS claim's department, and though they have treated us with respect, they have not been diligent enough or near as friendly as they were when they wanted our business.They are refusing to pay for the damages to the painting and accepted to pay for the repairs on both houses. The are basing their refusal on some technicality that it was not discussed with us prior to the move nor was it disclosed. They didn't even offer extra insurance that they now say they have for these special items.I would like the BBB to please review this situation.To people and friends moving in and out of Houston, I WOULD SERIOUSLY ADVISE YOU TO NEVER CONSIDER GIVING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MOVE TO BE THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND YOUR PROPERTY TO BE DESTROYED/DAMAGED. read more

I just had Three Men Movers crew led by Salvador Garcia out to help me move from my third floor apartment and it was worth every penny! The movers were quick, careful, and considerate. They moved my entire apartment in the time it took me to move a few boxes. All of my large furniture (several bookcases, dresser, couch, etc.) were wrapped and handled very carefully. The moving coordinator was super easy to work with and all the staff whom I spoke with had customer service at the top of their priorities. They called me as the moving team was loading the trucks to make sure all was going good as well as called me soon after the crews finished up my move. Super job!!!!! The moving crew handled my furniture and items with such care without a scratch! That was a first time ever for me. They moved me from Houston to Bryan and treated my things and my time as a priority and had all my furniture loaded, unloaded with beds and washer/dryer set up in under 5 1/2 hrs. During my move the movers stole my Apple watch and boxes of important documents. They probably thought there were valuable items in the boxes, and they were right except that the items were valuable only to me. Like 50 year old pictures, mementos, etc. They did this by luring me away from the apartment to take the Apple watch, and then telling me they would meet me on the other end (I should have followed them). When I called the driver later pleading with him to return the documents which had no value to them he denied everything. Did not even respond when I told him to just drop the documents somewhere and I would pick them up later without telling anyone. The office people were not helpful at all. Just denied anything could have happened. I have learned since that other people had experience with stolen items by this company. read more

My first time utilizing a moving company and everything went great! The scheduling process over the phone went smoothly, and Darnell took all of my information on the first call and had us scheduled for the move. They were able to help us with our special move as we were moving overseas, and we required everything to be loaded in a 20' shipping container that was 4' off the ground. They had all of the equipment and materials to safely load our valuable belongings. All of our appliances and furniture were wrapped in blankets and plastic for extra safety. Let me start by saying if i could have given negative stars I would have. I have never experienced something like this. And I have moved over 10 times in my life. The day before my supposed "mOve" they email me to confirm and text me confirming my driver and that they will call between 12-1pm to tell me exact arrival time, great! So you would think.... The day of the move, we sit, waiting 12pm, 1pm goes by we think maybe they are running late? I email the concierge, no response, we attempt to text my supposed mover, no response, we call the mover at 2pm having not heard anything all day. The driver says "oh my truck is in the shop im not doing the move" ...... Excuse me what do you say sir??? We call the main office, I speak to the most incompetent person on the phone who repeats who my driver is and that they will contact me despite my explanation of convo with the driver, after being on and off hold for 15 minutes because they clearly completely messed this up and are attempting to scramble to fix it, they tell me they will call me back when they have a new driver for me. AN HOUR GOES BY, with no contact from them, it is now 4 hours past my supposed move time and I have been sitting waiting. I HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK MULTIPLE TIMES TO EVEN TALK TO ANYONE!!!! Finally this criminally inept company admits to their fault and that they cannot fix it and that my only options are to reschedule to tomorrow or another time. Can you even imagine? A moving company cancelling on you day of? NOT EVEN DAY OF but 5 hours after your move was supposed to begin? After you have made preparations to move like cleared your schedule, packed up and coordinated with 2 buildings to reserve freight elevators? I was legitimately appalled, jaw on the floor shocked by this. This shameful company left me standing there, in a boxed up apartment with egg on my face. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. They should be banned from the moving game. Unless you love feeling like an idiot, getting furious on a Saturday afternoon, and wasting your time sitting around waiting for people who are being paid literally to show up and dont, dont touch this so-called "MOVING COMPANY" with a 10 foot pole. We used 3 Men Movers to move us from SE Houston to Ft. Bend County. They arrived on time, were courteous, pointed out anything that was damaged or whatnot before they moved it and worked very fast but carefully. We moved in July and they never complained or took a break for that matter. Everything arrived in perfect shape w/o any problem. We were concerned about moving this really heavy computer desk but they picked up and moved it w/o a problem. I would highly recommend this company. read more
