this was in June I always have the worst experiences when I try new places.... My best friend and I go here on a Sunday, there aren't many people there. Maybe 3 tables including our and a private party in the back. Our waitress sucked almost as much as the food! First issue, we order drinks, it literally took about 30 minutes to get our margaritas and we never got water, in fact the hostess says "I'm sorry ladies have you all not received any water?" we are like no nor have we gotten our drinks, she goes to the bar and gets them right away. Second issue and the most important is we asked for extra tortillas because we had waited for so long and were starving, we never received them (I'll come back to this part). Third issue I order a chimichanga with the meat sauce on the side, I get my chimichanga after maybe an hour of waiting..... and it's plain like nothing in the inside but meat, I brought it to the waitress attention, that I don't like it, and she ask Why, I said because its plain and I didn't want it to be plain I just wanted the sauce on the side. She's like ok I'll call the manager to see what to do. She comes back and says she can switch it out for something else, I tell her no thanks just bring us our check. I get the check and she didn't charge me for the chimichanga, but to my surprised she has charged us for the extra tortillas we didn't receive. I explain to her I have no problem paying for the drinks, chips, salsa, and the only tortillas we received, but you never brought out the extra tortillas. And she says, yes I did. I said no you didn't, she is like I am your waitress and I know what I brought. So at this point I am in complete defense mode why am I going back in forth over $3 tortillas. I'm like I am not about to argue with you, you did not bring us our tortillas like you didn't bring out our drinks. She then says whatever I'll just roll back the cameras. I say great do it so we (my friend and I) can laugh at how stupid you look. And then she leaves and comes back with the check fixed and is like I am so sorry I just want to make sure I have a job and you guys just can't order something and not pay for it. At this point I am angry and I said I don't give a fuck about your job, and now I am pissed off you are accusing me of stealing $3 tortillas and you can't be a waitress forgetting to bring peoples food... where is the manager? And of course she's like there is no manager here today I am the only manager blah blah! I requested the managers number she wouldn't give it to me And at this point the hostess comes over and apologized to my friend and I and checks us out for our drinks only. And the hostess was so sweet and had that look on her face like this waitress is like this with everyone. Long story short bad service and bad food! read more

We used to love this place but the past few times we've been here it's been disappointing. The white cheese sauce has been very runny, the chips were stale, and the fajitas were over-cooked. The staff is fast but not super attentive. Felt a little rushed to eat & get out the door. The staff should pick up the straw covers & trash off the table during the meal. I recently moved to the OKC area. I came from small towns with hidden gems in the way of great Mexican food. I had tried several places in Oklahoma City only to be very disappointed with the quality of the food. Someone recommended I try 3 Tequilas, as I had yet to find a place around here with actually white queso that wasn't sour cream or velveeta cheese sauce. I tried it and got the chicken chimichanga. The food was well seasoned and reasonably priced (and the queso is complimentary.) The staff is incredibly friendly and you can't go wrong with any of the chicken dishes! Their frozen margaritas are pretty great as well! I'm so glad I found a good Mexican restaurant around here and I would highly recommend it to any who is new here and find themselves in the same situation. Very disappointed. Was excited to try this place but unfortunately will not be going back. First their phone was broke so could not call in our order. We ordered nacho chepe w/shredded chicken, white queso, veggie taco salad, wings and fajita enchiladas. It smelled great in the car. Got home and dug in. The "famous queso" was insanely thin, had flavor but bc of how thin it was it was pointless. Veggie salad was ok, nachos had no beans on them and did not get the guacamole that was suppose to come with. It was literally chunks of chicken with a blob of cheese on top, fajita enchiladas were dry and beans no flavor, the wings were ok, nice flavor and heat. The salsa was like tomato sauce... yuck.... chips were good, just sucked we had nothing yummy to dip them in. Normally I would call them and give a chance to redeem themselves, but since they don't have a working phone, I went to the next best thing. read more

This place has the largest margaritas ever we called them a birdbath margaritas in San Diego because they're really wide and hollow these we call hot tub margaritas because they're big and deep. Prices are amazing there a key so is on point not a fan of their salsa to be honest it taste like ketchup. Me and my husband both had their tostada lunch for six dollars it was great. You know you've been going to the same place for awhile when your usual server sees your relationship go from separate checks to just one. This place is great. Every time we walk in we're treated like family. They remember our faces, ask how we're doing and basically have our orders memorized. (I swear we don't go THAT often). The food comes out quickly, as hot as it should be and it's delicious. Their queso makes my darkest days all bright and happy again and if it doesn't do the trick then one of their big mama margaritas will. It's small on the inside so if you've got a big group I would plan ahead, but they always do what they can to accommodate you. If you're lucky, you may even get serenaded. ;) read more

What happened? I've been here 3 or 4 times for dinner, and thought it was great. Went today for lunch, and aside from the chips and white queso, it was the worst Mexican food lunch I've had. Three of us, and we had the chicken chimichanga, chicken enchiladas, and tamales. Chicken was watery with little seasoning, tamale was way off, and none of it was hot. Do they have different folks working at lunch. Hugely dissapointed. read more

The space is very crowded and the food is OK. The main problem is that they overcharged my credit card. On a meal that cost $27.02, we provided a tip to bring it to $33 (18%) and they charged our credit card $35.02...adding $8 to the original bill. The food and service were not to the level to deserve a 30% tip!!!! Also, think that's fraud, though at a level not worthy of complaint to the credit card company. I probably like this place a little too much. The chips, queso, tortillas, etc. are excellent. I try to vary what I order every time and I'm always satisfied. The service is always good and their margaritas are excellent. You can get a good meal and a drink for $12 + tip. read more

You cannot beat this place for lunch time value! The specials are always good, the drinks are always strong, and the servers are always very friendly. Waitstaff usually mixes the drinks, so orders from the bar can take overly long sometimes. Other than that, this is one of my favorite spots in Edmond. read more
