This was such a happy surprise to find. Another in our party had planned another place, and it was closed. We walked in and found friendly staff, good food options, and a clean restaurant. The food was good overall with nice seasoning and flavor. The soda fountain was out of one choice, and I notified them. It was still out 45 minutes later before we left. This restaurant was mostly a disappointment.  My husband and I went last weekend and were very frustrated by the employees at the front counter... they seemed very disengaged with their job; one kept giving conflicting answers to questions about the menu, and one was scrolling on her phone so much that when I needed something, I had to raise my voice a little to get her attention.  The pizza was just okay and there was no kids menu!  We had to order our 18 month old a full size adult meal!  Also, our initial order was not done correctly so we only had part of our order for a while.  To top this off, they had signs up reading, "clean up after yourself".  Seriously?!  It's offensive to responsible customers who don't need such an impolite "reminder".  I do appreciate that there was grass fed beef, the burger patty was pretty tasty and the general look of the place was cute.  But overall, the service was really a disappointment and it's unlikely that we will return. read more

As usual let's begin with the service. Mediocre which is not specifically because of the person who served me but more to lack of actual Waite staff. Upon entering I was told to go to the bar in the back to order. Bar tenders are not necessarily good food waiters, that's just not what their focus is. I was wondering to myself, "Where is the manager?", who should be taking up the slack. Being short staffed is not rare in this type of business but that is where good management comes in. Though I will say that what I believe was the manager did appear eventually delivering orders which was a good sign. Also though they advertise a 'Coffee Bar' there was nobody available to serve there as well does not seem to be a public wireless connection which is a must if one is to call oneself a coffee bar. Alas, I am still in search of a decent coffee place that's name does not start with 'star' and end with 'bucks'. On the the food, finally...from the limited menu I ended up ordering a Club Panini even though they they do seem to specialize in pizza. It came out relatively quick and was very tasty though not sure how sandwiches do not include at least chips. I am on the fence at the moment whether the sandwich, minus chips, and stale ice tea that tasted like it was made the previous morning was worth the price. I'll think about that for a bit. I did glance over the draft beer selection and it was underwhelming as well having the normal generic beers as any bar of this type from the big city and none from local brewery's such as Brazos Valley, New Republic or Lone Pint. Though overall the experience was ok at best I believe I may come back to try a pizza which may change my mind. UPDATE - 04/16/22: Decided to see if the coffee bar was open this morning and it was. Coffee, which was a mocha, was pretty decent and I discovered the public internet. Spoke with the guy while he made my drink and asked a couple questions. If they ever have any pastries in the pastry case with a response of 'sometimes' which was disappointing. Asked about hours amid operation and found they are closed on Monday and Tuesday which is unfortunate but understandable because they are opened over the weekend. May have found a Saturday morning place to come work on research. Maybe next time I'll get a taco. I get the feel that it is a family owned business which is very common in the area which often leads to being closed during the week to catch up on family needs. I have not yet changed my rating though I would have by half a point if that was possible. I will return to try the pizza which will be the point to change especially given that seems to be their staple offering. read more

Food was decent but the bartender is superior. She makes her own drink recipes for the Specialty Cocktails and the one I had was fantastic.

Amazing! Adorable outside, coffee shop in the front, bar in the back, and covered patio outside! Small, but delicious menu!!!! We had the pizza, which was wood-fire made, but everything else looked amazing too! Almost exactly half way between Austin and Houston, making it a perfect place to stop if on the road! Had my sons wedding in the area, needed a watering hole to meet up with family. We had arranged to have an after wedding brunch here prior so it seemed logical to check it out. FANTASTIC place all the way around. Plenty space to hang out and relax. Great selection of beer and great bloody mary while waiting on food order to feed the groom and his crew. Wings are absolutely amazing!! Our Brunch was top knotch and chef was fantastic working with us on the menu. Highly recommend and you cant go wrong! read more

Not impressed at all. We had four people three baskets of wings, three salads, one truffle fries, one BLT, one ice tea. $106. There were six wings in each basket. There were not large average to small size. The sauce available bbq, lemon pepper, garlic butter all tasted like bottled sauce. 6 wings for $14. The salads were made with warm , room temperature lettuce. Absolutely nothing special. The dressing were not homemade and tasted like they came from a bottle. Medium sized salad with no protein for $11. The BLT panini was good, the truffle fries were good and plentiful. Everything was served on throwaway containers. Including plastic utensils. Drinks were in styrofoam cups. $106. Plus, they asked for a minimum of an18% tip when no one took my order and no one brought us our food, refills, or asked if we enjoyed our meal. The staff were as engaging as the night crew at McDonald's. This is not the kind of restaurants that Brenham needs. Overpriced, subpar food. read more

We had one of the best pizzas we've ever had here. It was "pesto something " can't remember the exact name, but amazing flavor with the goat cheese. I heard about this new place and decided to check in out. Arrived on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. They were moderately busy, about 40% full. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I had the club panini and it was very good, I enjoyed it. It took about 20 minutes from ordering to being served. I like this place, and will return. If you are looking for a place in Brenham to watch sports on tv this is it. They have a lot of TV's with a variety of sports programming on. read more

We have started coming every Wednesday for the absolutely wonderful pizza and the fun trivia. Cheesy bread and garlic Parmesan fries are awesome. But we can't get over how good the pizza is. This place is exactly what Brenham needed! There are multiple TV's in the back room and on the patio for Astros or Sunday football. If you're looking for a quieter space to do work or study, you can hangout in the front room or back room with their delicious coffee. It's hard to find a place with a good atmosphere AND good food/drinks, but this place does them both! It is definitely our new spot to hangout. read more

I would have given a 5 but I picked up food there last night and breakfast tacos this am and ran into service issues both times . First the food scores , we ordered a number of dishes last night so we tried many different items as there were 5 people eating at my house . Scaled 1 of 10 , 10 the best . 1. Pizza we ordered cheese and pepperoni 9.5 out of 10 . The dough could have been a little crispier . 2. Had the bar b que and Buffalo wings a 10 3. Truffle fries an easy 10 4. The Cuban a 7 , this time lacked zing, was not enough mustard , we added some from home and it helped . 5. Tacos a 7 or 8 . The tortillas we thought were not cooked well enough . And cold , read why below . Service issue , we ordered on the phone , I live about 15 minutes away . They stated on the phone it would be to my surprise ready in 15 minutes . We thought since we ordered at about 5:40 perhaps they were not that busy . Food was ready in 30 minutes . So I sat for about 15 minutes . Just tell me 30 minutes next time . So this am we ordered about 8 breakfast tacos . Brenham desperately needs a good breakfast taco source . Man on phone states how fast can you be here to pick up . So we state 15 minutes . He stated no problem it will be ready . Not ready when I arrived . So I wait , and the young man told me they would be ready soon . He returns to coffee bar . He should have charged me but did not . So about 8 minutes pass and they put the food out , what I assumed was my order . But they only have I guess 2 people working there . During my wait time a line of 10 people show up . So now I'm having to wait in line to pay for my food . And the breakfast tacos are sitting to get cold ! After about 6 or 7 people go through the coffee bar line he realizes what's happened , excuses himself to walk over to charge me and give me my tacos on another register . He should have charged me when I walked in . That way the only other person working there could announce the order was ready and I could have walked out with the order . As a business person I get that we are all having labor , employee shortages and issues . But both of these issues on service are easily avoidable . I will try them again as I know they are newly opened . But hope to see improvements in organization and service . read more

We had high expectations for 30 North. I called in our pizza order. The toppings were very good but the crust was undercooked. Nothing ruins a pizza for me like an underdone crust. It was gummy all the way out to the rim. Such a huge disappointment for us.
