    Linguine Del Mare

Quaint little Italian restaurant. Our service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. Our appetizer was the calamari and it was fairly good. I prefer it with a little more breading, but it was still good. My main dish was the linguine with shrimp and clams, and it was very good (nice portion). The entree comes with a fresh side salad along with warm bread. If you're in Brenham it's definitely worth a visit.

Service and ambience were excellent! My wife had chicken parmigiana and really enjoyed it. I had the redfish picatta. It was excellent. We will certainly return. If in Brenham, well worth a stop!

Decided to try this popular Italian restaurant for dinner. It was a 40 minute wait for the walk in. The small parking lot filled up rapidly. Ordered the red snapper picata and the eggplant parmesan with wine. Elated to find a fish picata dish in this small town, it's usually chicken. The server looked like he had quite a long day but was upbeat, light a candle for us, served us bread. The salad came with the meal and there were a few rolls. The food was fresh and tasty. We ate, drank and paid up at this popular establishment in Brenham before the drive home at night. No leftovers.

Solid Italian restaurant! Pasta was good! Loved loved their tiramisu! Friendly service! Very busy at dinner time on the weekends so definitely recommend getting a reservation. We didn't have a reservation and waited about 45 min for a table

The food is delicious, and the portions are just right. It feels like you're at Grandma's home for supper.

Food and service are always perfect. One of our favorite restaurants in Brenham. The pasta piemontesi is fantastic and desserts are special!

The best Italian food in town. They have a lot of traditional Italian dishes on the menu everything tastes homemade imo.

It gives everything a cozy, charming feel with a lot of character. Parking, though, can be tricky. It's limited, and if you're wearing heels, the rocky ground and steep hill can make it a bit of a challenge when the lot fills up. We had reservations but arrived a little early, and they were able to seat us without an issue. Service was solid overall. The staff was quick to let us know what items were unavailable, which helped with decision-making. I did notice a dish being served that wasn't on the menu, and when I asked about it, we found out it was a seafood and noodle special. Two of us decided to try it. For food, we started with the sautéed garlic ricotta appetizer, which was a standout. It had a really nice balance of mild sweetness and savory flavor. The eggplant parmesan was huge and easily shareable between two people, with great flavor throughout. Honestly, most of the portions felt big enough to split. I ordered the seafood special, and while the flavor was decent, the shrimp were consistently overcooked and chewy, which made it hard to enjoy. The mussels were the highlight of the dish, though they reminded me of the frozen kind you can heat up at home. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to recommend, but if it were the only option in town, I'd consider going back.

The Not So Good: Although happy they had a parking lot - wish there was more. The Ugly: The special of the night - seafood over pasta. Noodles were light and delicious, seafood looked fresh but everything was overshadowed by the level of garlic. I love garlic but not when that's all I taste. Such a shame because it had great potential.

The new menu isn't so massive and the pizza is pretty good, previously very greasy. Breakfast menu could be better. Everything was a little overcooked. The service is terrible. Finally had to ask for syrup, ketchup, and coffee refills because no one ever came back by to check on us. It's like as soon as a new table walks in the door they forget about you. The poor owner is running around like crazy and cooking. I've seen at least 5 other people,I'm assuming work here, but aren't doing much. The interior is clean and well lit. My advice is train your staff to handle front of house because there is potential, but one guy can't do it all. I hope they get the logistics figured out or it won't be here long.

Cons- I was with a group and there for 20 mins before I was asked if I wanted a drink I ordered the manicotti and other women order 4 different items on the menu. The dishes ALL came out the same. Covered in cheese and sauce that was way too much for the 2 small manicottis I ordered. I had to dumped out half my plate to find the pasta. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER THEIR HOUSE DRESSING. Unless you like cocktail sauce on white lettuce with one tomato, one onion ring and some shredded mozzarella. This is my second time there and I waited to post a review. As much as I want all local businesses to succeed in my little town, I'm afraid this one will be like the last two restaurants at that location. The location is a bit difficult to maneuver, so if you are going out of your way, there needs to be a 5 star experience.

It was $7 for a very large double decked slice. The icing is very good - wish it had a hint of Lemon yo accentuate the flavor profile. The cake itself is dry. I dont taste the lemon, i can see a few signs if lemon zest inside the cake. However, would suggest flavoring the icing to really bring out that lemon flavor and maybe even placing a few fresh blueberries on top. I do however really like that its fresh large blueberries. they are visible and plenty. Going to assume the dryness is just because they were premade and being a festival they had to be cut prior (assuming all prep would have to occur the few days before). Judging by the look im sure a fresh cut piece is much moister. The blueberries were very juicy though and plump, which did add some moisture back in. i'm going to assume the lady running the booth is the owner/Baker, she was super sweet and personable. Great personality! I saw the cake and I'm not usually a cake eater, but I said "there's cake over here" to my group and some guy walking past us said "it's really good cake!" which is what me just go try a piece.
