Outside because my food was too good that I forgot to take a pic!

Our family of 4 had lunch here while visiting during our cruise. I had the halibut sandwich and chowder and both were hands down the very best I have ever had! The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the tartar sauce was delicious on my sandwich and the few fries I snuck to dip. The chowder was so think and creamy, plenty of clams and flavor to die for. It wasn't full of potatoes like most. My wife and mom both had fish and chips. They could have easily shared and still have leftovers. I gave it a try and it was really good. My mother in law had the prime rib sliders which were loaded with meat and a delicious horseradish sauce that was the perfect amount of heat! If I ever find myself in Skagway again I would for sure go back!

Cute local pub off the main tourist trap street. I had the crab cakes and Klondike lager while my wife had the impossible burger, all very tasty. Much less of a madhouse than the places on Broadway and a nice change from the ships food.

    Fish and chips. Nasty

Greasy tough fish and chips. Breading turned into this soggy undercooked mess. I was looking at the table next to ours and they gor these skinny crab legs that didn't even crack. They were supper soggy.

They were out of king crab which is why we went. Clam chowder was very good I will say. The servers are pretentious patchouli head hipsters who think they're way cooler than you a know nothing. They would not give us the booth we asked for because there was only two of us. In 5 minutes just two people were sat there. The service is not "customer is always right" the service is we lather are dreads in patchouli oil and listen to rainbow kitten surprise, therefore you know nothing and are a nuisance l. Beautiful location, great clam chowder and decent ambiance. Instead of sports on the tv there was teenagers playing Tetris. Therefore 3 stars. Overall eh..

We were in Skagway during our cruise to Alaska. We asked a local for a recommendation for a good restaurant, not one for tourists. He recommended The Station. He did not disappoint! Lucy was our server and she was phenomenal! We ordered the crab cake appetizer and then fish and chips. The crab cakes were delicious! Three good sizes patties with a yummy sauce. The fish and chips (cod) was some of the best I've ever eaten. So hot and flaky. Their tartar sauce had dill in it which was such a great complement to the fish. I would eat here every night if I lived in Skagway. It's amazing!

Great food and wonderful service. The pizza was some of the best we have ever had - ever - and we eat a lot of pizza! The service was fast, friendly and everyone worked as a team. The atmosphere was family friendly and welcoming. We are so glad we found this place off the main part of town. Would go again and highly recommend.

The fish and chips were amazing. Light breading with nice crunch. As busy as they were, service was excellent.

Most people find themselves in Skagway via cruise ship. If you find yourself in this situation and…read moreare wanting a sweet snack, disembark the boat with the first group and hightail it to the corner of Broadway and 3rd Avenue. Don't stop at any of the many souvenir shops or jewelry stores. The priority will be getting to Klondike Doughboy first, since this will be the longest line you will see all day. Even if you meander through town, don't worry: the line goes quick. Once inside the door, queue up to the left side of the store, order at the counter, then pick up your fresh doughboy to the right side of the store. There are also various other gifts and merch available, as well as shaved ice during any warm days, but the star of the show is the fried doughboy. On my initial stop around 10 AM, the line was quite long. My wife went to get drinks at the coffee shop next door while I waited for the doughboy. When I got to the front, I order one to share with my wife, promptly got took it outside, but my wife was still waiting for our drinks. I sat down on the sidewalk (there are only a few benches outside) and quickly ate my half of the doughboy while it was still hot. I easily could have devoured the entire thing, but I was a good husband and saved half for my better half, who eventually came out with our hot drinks. We stayed in Skagway for the entire day, going on a long hike to the Lower Reid Falls (about a 5 mile trek round trip), getting a late lunch in town, then the requisite tourist shopping. But before we got back on our cruise ship, we made one last stop around 5 PM. By that time, most of the tourists got back on their respective boats, so the line was very short. This time, we got our own doughboys (no sharing). I would have gone back for a 3rd trip if they were open late (they closed at 6 PM), though I would risk being left behind. It would have been worth it!

It's tasty and is one of those things you have to try if you're in the area. It's $8 and is a little bit more priced than what it may be but it's definitely worth it to get it. Service was quick and efficient to get through the line. If you are in the area, probably for an Alaskan cruise, I would definitely give this a recommendation to try.

It was a little after 1 and there were several cruise ships docked, so the lobby was quite full. When I walked up to the podium, the host explained our options: go to the pub for drinks and a limited menu, or wait 15-30 minutes for a table upstairs with the full menu. We weren't in a hurry and wanted all the options, so we decided to wait for a table. It was about 20 minutes before the host called us. After being seated and checking out the menu, I chose a mug of the house-brewed root beer along with a Alaskan Sandwich, subbing the fries for a side salad. My wife also ordered the root beer, but with a Salmon Sandwich with a cup of soup instead. We also shared a whole Big Pickle! First, the root beer was very refreshing. Not super sweet, but still flavorful. And my sandwich was very delicious! The piece of Alaskan Greenling was so big, it was hanging over the bun. With the side salad, it was just the right amount of food, but I didn't feel too stuffed. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and loved the cup of beer cheese soup. And the big pickle offered a good crunch and contrast to our sandwiches. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We did pass on dessert, but would try it if we came back to Alaska. The only weird thing is that there was no wifi available, and the cell signal was non-existent. We had to *gasp* talk to each other!
