Very hot outside but decided to go to Oceanside hopefully finding a table in the shade. Got there only 1 table being used so we had our pick! We got our table which was basically in the shade but also first row across from the ocean. Our server was Zachariah, he was ok. Didn't tell us till actually ordering that appetizers during Happy Hour were $4 off. He took our drink order which we asked for the happy hour house margaritas then when he took our food order is when he told us about the appetizer Happy Hour. I actually switched last minute to the beach balls appetizer from Cuban press. I love both but I really wish they would bring back the slider sandwiches since I can't eat much. Cuban pressed comes with fries which honestly taste terrible when reheated. But moving on the beach balls were good. My husband said his American burger was good which he also received fries with. This place is great. Our family sat on the deck across from the ocean and enjoyed many tasty treats! We loved the nachos, had a delicious salad, and other fun snacks. Drinks were delicious and the service was friendly. They even have a happy hour menu, rare these days. We will definitely return when we're back in OB! read more

Nice restaurant right by the beach. They have a spacious front patio that overlooks the beach. It is close to the road so you get car traffic but the view is still nice. Food was good. I got the breakfast burrito but added pineapple to it for a tropical twist. Overall it was pretty good but it had way too much American cheese for my personal taste. My mom really enjoyed the avocado toast. Server was very nice and attentive. Coffee was good but they do not have any non-dairy options. I'd come back again. read more

We stopped here for some lunch and it was quick service for the food but drinks came later. The server was extremely honest. Said she doesn't know how anything taste she never ate there nor about the drinks except one. You can tell she never waitresses before but better late than never haha. She was sweet though. I got the steak tacos which were okay but OMG beyond messy the majority of the taco fell out bc of the gooey cheese or on my face. It was good though. The salsa wasn't great. We've been coming to Oceanside Ormond Beach location since it opened; not only do we love it, so do all our out-of-town family & friends we've brought there. Such a great location, great outdoor seating and a view of the ocean - what's not to love! Service is always excellent (shoutout to Chris who bartends and serves as well!). The specialty drinks are awesome - I'm not a Cosmo fan but the beach Cosmo is delicious (maybe it's the 3 Olives orange vodka? ). Other family favorites are the painkiller, key lime colada, and mango sunrise. Nice seating outside but considering the hot sun and all, we sat inside. Good selection with menu for breakfast and lunch and also from the bar. Decided on the gyro for me. Normally don't choose a gyro when it isn't a Mediterranean restaurant but thought I'd give it try. I was happy. Pita bread nice and soft. Loaded with gyro meat. Very good. Candyce got double bacon cheese burger with BBQ sauce on the side and sweet potato fries. They brought butter and cinnamon dipping sauce for the fries. She was very happy with the selection. Drinks to start off. Mimosa for candyce and bloody mary for me. Both drinks good and they didn't skimp on the booze. Should give option for dill pickle or celery stalk for the bloody mary. What an amazing find! Been coming to Ormond Beach for 30 years every summer and just discovered this gem! Note that I am reviewing the Ormond location, which does NOT have an upper deck...HOWEVER, the view from the patio is straight across A1A to the ocean and it's great. I had preconceived ideas that dining at street level and not directly on the beach would be a lesser experience. NOT!! The view is great and the traffic along A1A is not distracting from the view. I came here because they serve an awesome breakfast/brunch menu, and I was craving a bloody mary and some really good eggs benedict after a 7 mile walk on the beach that took me past typical breakfast time and pushed me to lunch time on the last day of my beach vacation. Location: Awesome! Service: Outstanding. My server Lauren K was spot-on perfect...kept my drink and water filled and had great menu knowledge. Food: OMG! SO good! I had the filet steak- tip eggs Benedict and a titos bloody mary. The Benedict was amazing...I especially liked the chipotle hollandaise, and the incorporation of the filet tips really elevated this dish. I am already planning to return for lunch tomorrow to sample an amazing sounding lamb burger they have on special this month. I SERIOUSLY wish I had found this sooner...but now I know! read more

My hubby and I dined here while visiting family in the Daytona area and were looking for seafood with a view. This place had both. The ambiance was nice somewhat of a sports bar feel however we sat in the dining area so it would be been nice for families with children too. Hubby ordered blackened mahi mahi and I order the fish and chips. He loved his food and my fish and chips was good it was just greasier than a prefer so I didn't end of finishing my meal. French fries were nice and crispy tho and not greasy like the fried fish. I also had a lemonade vodka cocktail that was yummy the waitress said it was a "fan favorite". The waitress was helpful in suggesting what to order upon our asking and also gave us great service! (Hard to find these days) so we compensated her well. We will return but I prob won't be ordering the fish and chips just my honest opinion. read more

Very beautiful location right off the ocean . My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted and got a great seat by the window overlooking the beach. They have so much to offer and my wife chose the Steak Taco which she said was the best she has ever gotten and I got the Blackened Fish Taco which I absolutely loved. You can't go wrong when you choose to eat at a restaurant with an outdoor patio facing the ocean across the narrow street! What a beautiful view! What blew us away (aside from the view) was the wait staff. They were friendly and polite, welcoming and attentive, and they served us well. In this day when it is hard to find good help, this restaurant is blessed with the best. The food was okay. My husband seemed happy with his mushroom chicken. I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant. I was surprised by pulled chicken instead of cubed chicken, but it was deliciously seasoned. It was a bit overcooked though and very chewy. It contained cranberries and grapes, as advertised, but instead of craisins which I expected, it had maybe a half dozen fat, very tart cranberries and a half a grape. Didn't live up to my expectations. They might want to work on that. Given the view and the wait staff - I'd probably go back and just not order the sandwich. read more

On the drive home we knew we needed to stop for lunch. Yelp to the rescue again!!! Found this quaint little spot right off the beach (walking distance). The food was so good I wanted to high five the chef! I got the beer battered fish and chips and my husband got the blackened fish tacos. For shareables we got the corn dip. Drinks we got the grey goose mule and the hemingways pain killer!! All so very delicious!! We sat out on the patio and got a light summer rain. We walked to the beach nearby afterwards and enjoyed how quiet and not packed it was!! Our server, Joy, was so great and friendly!! Plan on coming back with our kids!! read more

The service was really slow and our waitress was new and didn't really know the menu. someone from our group asked if they had mahi-mahi and she said to look on the menu and we couldn't see it else was ordered. At one point one member in our group went to the bathroom and saw the sign that said special of the fish mahi-mahi, and we all laughed, but it was kind of sad. A 3% credit card fee also was on there which we didn't know about but it is what it is so many places to go to in Ormond Beach probably won't be back. read more

This restaurant just came owned a couple weeks ago and they are already hitting it out of the park. The location is fantastic with a great view of the ocean. We met Dan their manager and he makes sure that you're totally satisfied. He was such a friendly person and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our waitress was Chasity and she was outstanding. She checked in on us regularly and even offered to get us to-go drinks. All of our food was delicious. read more

Food was excellent; I had a veggie wrap with avocado & my husband had crab stuffed flounder. He said it was the best he's had. Pricing was not bad at all! The atmosphere was so pleasant; not too loud, & they even had sound dampening on the walls which was so nice. They had live music outside which was loud when we were outside, but you couldn't hear a thing from the inside. So the sound proofing is 10/10. Overall I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.
