I been to a lot of storage units,im one of the customer experienced 6 different self storage,but this one of my latest storage unit im in for 2 years ,i moved here coz I transferred my work in east bay.360 self storage so far the best one ive ever tried,the quality of services,the attendant the new guy Emilio and the rest of the team where so helpful ,polite to costumer.the storage unit are well ventilated,it seems like you are checking in the hotel were air is colder and the units are so neat and clean,emergency attendants replies asap when you called everything is excellent.i highly recommend this one best storage 360 read more

The worst customer service, most unprofessional people, making rules up as they go along despite lease obligations, the cart issue stressful and inconvenient causing me lost revenue, torn miniscus, considerably more time. calling me in to come right away because my unit had no lock on it, assuring me they checked files it was my new unit they just issued me after unsuccessfully trying to convince me to keep the the old one which had a protruding lock problem and did not offer help moving my business inventory to new unit. yes mam it is your new unit k210, guess what? the rent you took off after me flying up to newark in morning traffic, stressing out that all my business inventory was now gone, and sore from having to move my heavy inventory twice and the cost of the ticket. was just a taste of the unprofessional, unfair practices of this company. the discounted rent does not mean anything if you keep making major mistakes causing your customers considerable time, stress, labor and money. When they rented the unit to me, the use of hand carts were available to residents from 7 to 7, when i showed up with a 17ft truck packed with new inventory I saw no hand carts to transfer to my upstairs unit, it was 4:45 pm, I went to office to inquire and now because even with all the cameras, monitors and alleged measures they take to prevent theft, they are having problems of the residents stealing and or keeping carts in their units and don't know who it or they are! So now if you have to use a cart you have to leave a drivers license with them and make sure your off loaded on their hours! and because my license was at the job I just left and it was almost 5pm, I was denied!!!! I had to keep the truck for one more day, incur more mileage cost to retrieve license, and eat the cost of the labor I paid that could not work the next day for me and move everything myself! no help was offered. Do I feel safe knowing they can't even monitor their own stuff let alone mine? no! If all this wasn't enough, they threw a lock on my property because I was 4 minutes late leaving, forcing me to stop what i was doing the following day and go to office to sign a paper saying I would be terminated if it happened again. Besides the punch out clock said "thanks Kristi late exit allowed come back soon" yes I was late leaving 3 times, only because the office was closed and I had to unload with no cart, upstairs in the poring rain! the lease I signed said something about a small fee not a lock thrown on my property and not forcing me again to abandon my plans or work for the day to sign a piece of paper to allow me access to my property!!! needless to say I put my notice to move out and was no longer granted access to my property after 5pm!!! the manager and assistant manager (pacific islander looking) are childish, vindictive and have no regard for obligations of their own company and when questioned, the standard answer is a made on the fly answer that fits the reason they think will answer the unfair practices they instill doing business. ridiculous! also the 20.00 they offer to me in return of my good review I believe is also illegal. BBB will be contacted! as well as the Rincon Group who issued the loan on this building and the owner who will be in court. i rent now at Saf Keep on Osborn Rd. they are professional, free truck, helped me move free and 2 months 1/2 rent. After 2 years, it was time to find a home for the contents of the storage unit. Phil was very helpful in lining up a couple of movers and we were able to rent their truck (with Phil driving) to move our items. It was all done quickly and carefully. Been a customer for about a year so far now, and have no complaints at all. I've primarily dealt with Aileen every time I've came in/called. I only go in once a month to pay my bill, but she still always remembers my name, my dad's name, even friend's names that have walked in with me only once lol, she remembers where my dad moved to, and asks how he's doing, remembers that my mom had surgery, and asks how she's doing, always asks how my job is going, etc... Awesome, awesome, staff-member and person. But every staff member I've dealt with in the past year (Aileen, June, & Michelle are the only names I can remember, but there has been a few more) have been awesome. Everybody has always been nice, polite, informative, efficient, etc... After a year, the building and units are still spotless, still secure, no malfunctions with security codes or anything like that... Everything about this place has literally just been a breeze to deal with... The only errand I don't mind running. (Really, lol) & pretty sure the only business I've wanted to write a review on... (twice) 5 stars to the business/building, 6 stars to Aileen and the customer service. read more

@newark location. Cost structure is tricky. $29 (moves you in ad)is basically what I was asked to pay for getting the driver and truck. I was told(after signing all papers) driver does only one trip a day from Tuesday to friday so you have to wait until your turn comes. If more people signed up before you then good luck with that special! If you pay close attention to the fees, this place turns out to be more expensive. One out of the two receptionist is a sad person, one can easily identify the sad person for obvious reasons. The other one is gracious but I felt she is hurrying up with no other customers in line, may be to not give enough time to customer to identify the tricky cost structure. read more

Well it's taken me almost 6 months to write this, and it embarrasses me to say that. I needed a storage unit to make some room in my home. I searched high and low for something within my city limits. After looking all through Yelp Reviews , making phone calls to the front offices and a few site visits I was exhausted. The other choices were ridden with theft, rodents, roach complaints, I began to worry. 360 had a few complaints about pricing, so that scared me a bit. As I know personally Yelp reviews should be taken with caution. Sometimes people have an experience where they just don't get things their way and wind up ripping a business apart on line because of hurt feelings or ego. I decided to go in and see the site because it's beautiful from the outside. I watched it get built and thought just from the way it looked it might be really expensive. I'm glad I walked in and decided to look for myself. Greeting me at the front desk was Aileen, the manager. Great smile and friendly welcome. See acknowledged me and let me know that she would be right with me as she finished up with the previous customer. The front office was huge clean, and well organized. There was an area for restless children that might enjoy puzzles and toys instead of watching mom and dad procure a storage unit ( boring). A meeting room that they allow their tenants to utilize if there were ever a need and Model Units so you can just see what size you needed without having to walk around. When Aileen returned to me to assist me with my decision it was no longer than a few minutes. She asked me all the right questions and gave me a few choices. Price wise she beat my lowest bid from a competitor. The following is where I was really impressed. She asked me what my largest item would be that I needed to store. I said maybe a lazy boy style chair. "Ok, good- it's just that where the unit is that I have is down a hall with a tight turn. I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't have any problems getting it in". No one has ever cared about my convenience like that before. Did I mention that these are air conditioned units? No mold or bug problems here. Just bring a light jacket or hoodie it can be really cold on the inside units. We've been there for 6 months and just renewed my lease for another 6. Bottom line: 1) Customer Service 5 Stars 2) Cleanliness 5 Stars 3) Pricing 5 Stars 4) AC Units 5 Stars I do recommend this place to anyone shopping around. Moving is one of the most stressful things in life! Try moving countries, and then jobs, and then home and lockers from Marin to Silicon Valley all during ONE month! ( and finding a good used car to boot!) When I first walked into 360 Storage Centre I was just SO happy to see such a creative space with really cool people there to help me because I really needed to find a safe place for my arts and crafts and all else. ( and I was very stressed ... probably not the best person to deal with), Despite the fact I was a pretty difficult client, the staff really went the extra mile for me - all of them. I have had my things in storage the last 5 years in Canada and the US and this storage concept absolutely rocks. On top of premium service and the lockers themselves - there is free wireless, a conference room if you need to go and do some work and even a little kitchen with water and refreshments. What was really awesome to me is that when you walk in there are different rooms all designed and painted in very creative ways - to actually show you the size of each locker. The kitchen is one of them ... the conference room ... the underwater theme room. A lot of thought has been put into this concept. There are always little hiccups when a new business starts but these folks are proactive with their customers' concerns. Awesome. I recently reviewed this facility, not by choice, but the manager Raymen Manro bribes prospective customers to post a Great review on Yelp with Discounts and Specials. I regret my previous "review". The Service at this facility keeps falling flat. I tried reaching this company for months before I went down in person. I left several messages on their website through "Contact Us", sent several e-mails, called; no response. So the service was not there. When I went down in person to see if the place even existed, I was met with the first glimpse of any service I had not received up until then. I was left waiting and waiting, first for the staff member to return from lunch, then waited even longer out in the heat while Emilio finished his lunch. I called the Emergency/ After hours phone number listed on the window. It was a short while later, after speaking with the owner, that Emilio opened the doors. I told Emilio of the non-response and of the service I read about but had yet to experience it myself. He showed me a unit, reserved it for me, answered my questions, then gave me his manager's card should I have further questions or concerns. I e-mailed the manager, Raymen. He called me immediately afterward. My impression was improving of the service and facility. During the phone call, Raymen bribed me by saying he would give me a better deal if I wrote a great Yelp review, then send him proof by e-mail that I did so. My impression lowered. I agreed to do the review. When communicating again with Raymen, his "service switch" was turned off. He sounded like he had better things to do and brushed me off, told me I should have booked an appointment, which was quite rude. I responded back and he flipped the switch back to service. He never wrote down the prices/specials/discounts he told me I would receive, so when I went back to the facility to finalize everything and start moving in, there was no communication left for Emilio. But after showing the e-mails between Raymen and myself, he agreed to make the adjustments. However, Emilio took my payment first, and processed that BEFORE gathering the paperwork for me to fill out. I chose not to rent from this facility after seeing all the personal info this place "Required" when they had no legal authority to require from people. They have more than enough personal details with a person's Driver's License...but on top of this, they "Require" your Social Security Number, your Biometrics (Thumb print), your Passport, and all your vehicle's info; VIN, Plate number, Insurance, etc. If you don't provide this, they refuse to rent a storage unit to you. I refused to give my information to them. Information that is none of their business and they have no business requiring this info when they have no legal authority to do so. My payment was not refunded and Emilio claimed the transaction could not be canceled. So I had to once again call the owner, who informed me the payment would be mailed to me by check. Not a place I would recommend. The service comes and goes, they switch it on and off when the mood strikes them. read more

Before deciding on renting storage space at 360 Storage Center in Newark, we visited two other storage facilities and discovered that all storage facilities are not equal in cleanliness, security, environment control and pest control. Our Realtor recommended 360 Storage Center in Newark to us and to our most pleasant surprise we found the ideal place to temporarily store our belongings. More surprising was that General Manager Aileen Fa'i greeted us with a very friendly smile and was ready to spend time to help us solve our storage issues. She first explained what the facilities are and showed us the different size units. The facilities are new, very clean, temperature controlled with security monitors and most important the rental rates are very affordable. The extra perk of having a moving truck with driver available during "moving into" the facilities is a big plus for anyone who needs temporary storage. Aileen, Jun and other team members are doing a great job keeping our precious belonging safe and secure and keeping the facilities very clean. I went there and got one of the largest storage spaces they had with my boyfriend and they were great at first. I needed a storage place in a hurry and it seemed like a great deal and they even gave us a discount on the unit for the first year and told us they had no problems with shelves being built in the unit, etc etc. The one thing they failed to tell us about is THEY REQUIRE YOU TO USE THE LOCK THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH, THEY KEEP A KEY, AND YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO PUT ANY OTHER LOCKS OF YOUR OWN ON YOUR UNIT! It wasn't until we had spent a week moving 4 or 5 huge and heavy load, building shelving etc. and my boyfriend replaced the lock with one of his own that he was denied access to the gate and they had changed the lock on our unit and tried telling him he wasn't allowed back on the property until we put their lock back on the unit. When we had a problem with the whole thing they tried to say it was in their written contract that we had signed. There was NOTHING in the written contract stating you have to use their lock only and they must keep a key and if you put any other locks on your unit or remove their lock then you will be denied access to your unit regardless if your bill is paid on time or not! If there was we never would have signed it and rented the unit in the first place! Management refused to even go over the contract with us in person and got really nasty with us when attempted to show them there was nothing in the contract we signed stating that you were required to use their lock only and that you were required to allow them full access to your unit, and if you didn't you would be denied access to the premises regardless if your account was paid current. How can your stuff be secure if they require you use the lock only they can provide and they must retain a key to that lock? What other storage place won't let you have your own lock on the unit? Ended up going to Public Storage and getting the same size unit for $30/mo cheaper and they have no problems with you using your own locks, and even let you lock it with two different kinds of locks if you want. They don't require that you let them have any keys either! IF YOU WANT PIECE OF MIND THAT YOUR STORAGE SPACE IS SECURE AND THAT YOU'RE DOING BUSINESS WITH PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED FACILITY THAT WON'T TRY TO CHANGE THE TERMS OF YOUR CONTRACT AFTER THE FACT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DISCLOSURES, DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE! ALSO FYI, the reason they have all the good reviews so far is because they tell you when you sign up that if you give them a good review on YELP after the first 60 days then you get a small discount off the next months bill, so they're basically paying people to get good reviews. read more
