The owner Josh is super down to Earth and the people there may be serious about training, but everyone is approachable (even if they might not look it!) - simple memberships and 24 hour key fob entry... Music is always up tempo and people are pumped up. It was a great gym to hit up while I was in Phoenix and if I lived here it's where I'd be training here often.

I was pleasantly surprised when Bailee streamlined the process without any pressure. She also offered me free trials of membership benefits like the red light therapy and the brand new cold plunge! Bailee was so friendly and helpful in assisting me in deciding on how to proceed with my membership choices in a non committal way like I wanted. A gentleman named Jake gave us a tour and was very respectful of the limited amount of time I had to spend on the tour. He also explained all about the included classes and ammeneties available at each location! A great part about Mountainside fitness is that they allow 12-year-olds to join so that means my daughter can come with me! I could not find another gym in the area that allows children under 13 to attend so I was really pleased at this privilege. I also liked that all the memberships allow you to go to any location.! Zero Star Rating!! Previous member here…read more Currently in a legal battle due to personal information gained during training, while under contract, being abused and used against me. Beware *Don't get involved with this gym and/or the trainers there. I have personally seen illegal activities occur during my training. I ended up needing to get a restraining order Against this trainer/ owner. Not scorned, not upset, justice was on my side this time. Just a warning. Dont Trust Them!!! I won't name names, but with a quick glance at the reviews, it's easy to see as it's obviously flooded with recent good reviews about one specific person.

I feel this is a huge mistake as this location is so family rich. The girls in the kids club have made a huge positive impact on our kids, it's helped them to socialize with others, learn how to strengthen their bodies and build confidence in the process. This decision by EOS is causing us to have to leave the gym and search for a new option. I'm sure they will loose a lot of families because of this. I think it's a huge mistake on their part to remove the kids center and we are very sad that we will be loosing a spot where we felt safe, happy, and confident because of the amazing staff inside this kids care center.

Sure they did construction for a few days, but that needs done to improve services. The staff has always been kind and attentive. Yesterday, I was truly impressed by the employee who was cleaning the men's locker room. He was putting detail into cleaning and really left the locker room very clean. My only criticism isn't the fault of the gym but the result of having a successful gym. It gets very busy in the afternoon so when time allows I just come in the morning. I've gone to different gyms in Phoenix and have always appreciated EOS. This is not my preferred location but it is the closest to my house.
