    That's a LOT of lobster!
    Gwyneth J.

The view is to die for as are the Lobster Rolls. Visiting 38° is worth the effort. More on that below. But let's talk lobster. This was one of the BEST lobster rolls we've had and the view is spectacular. See the pictures! It had to be a half pound of claw and tail, just enough mayo to hold it together and seasoned perfectly all served on a toasted brioche style split roll. Superb! Could not finish it all - had to take half home. DELISH. Now....here's why I took off a STAR ....they do NOT serve Pinot Grigio. Wait, what? How? Why? It's a summer place! My Mom was almost walked out! LOL Dad was also kinda bummed they didn't serve San Pellegrino water or Perrier -- but he settled for club soda. My Orange Crush was awesome. Service was great! Don't take the bad service reviews to heart, sometimes servers are over worked and it's a hard job. Tip well for good karma! How to find this elusive but worth the drive waterside spot. Go into the Bayside complex off of 54 past Harris Teeter and start following the white directional signs to 38°. It's gonna be a lot of twists and turns but totally worth it.

Good spot for drinks and some casual dinner by the water if you are staying in the Bayside complex. Food is mainly fish focused, rolls, tacos, burgers. Nice views and some games for kids. Also can take a stroll by the pier or down the wooden pier.

Came here for dinner with the family. Heard how laid back it was and off the beaten path. As a local I am looking for places that are quiet and has less tourists. Our first impression was it was a really cool chill place. Right on the water with a great atmosphere. Even though it's a bar/restaurant it is kid friendly. The food selection was very limited. A few appetizers only and sandwiches. No kids menu either. The Cesar salad with chicken was decent. Nothing over the top. The tuna tacos were the same. Just ok. The cheeseburger was over cooked but since it took forever to get the food we didn't complain about it. The service was very slow. Maybe they were understaffed. Our waitress was very nice though. Overall we really liked the atmosphere and would give it another try only because of this and the price was decent too. I hope it gets better.

This restaurant is newer to the community so it wasn't mobbed like a lot of other restaurants in the area. It was quaint & was right in the bay overlooking Ocean City. The decor was strange because they had nice lounge chairs and bar high tops but then for dining it was picnic tables. The food was so so. For a starter, I ordered a crab cake. Now I am from from New England so if this was served up there, it would be considered excellent. However this is right on the border of Maryland so the crab cake was just average if you compare it to other crab cakes at other restaurants in the area. For my main, I ordered a burger and it was pretty good. My philosophy on burgers is that it's pretty hard to mess one up, so the fact they cooked it how I liked it isn't that impressive. Overall, I think this place needs to establish itself a little more & work out the kinks to be successful.

Cute bar and restaurant on the water! We came on a Sunday evening and it was a great casual outdoor vibe. Our service was fast and the waiter was kind and attentive. The menu was a bit limited but still had enough options for dietary restrictions in my group. If you come on a Sunday night you can see fireworks from Northside Park across the water!

Came here on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend for drinks and snacks. Seated right away and greeted by our server right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a dessert, which was absolutely delicious. My drink was very yummy too! The view is incredible. Will definitely return!

The ambiance alone makes it worth the visit. I stopped in for a late lunch and went with their Pick 2 lunch combo, pairing the Caesar salad with the cream of tomato soup. The Caesar was excellent: fresh, whole romaine hearts tossed in a nice tangy dressing, topped with flavorful brown bread croutons and a solid chunk of quality cheese. The cream of tomato soup was equally good, carrying over those same rich croutons and cheese to tie the meal together seamlessly. Service was top-notch as well--the bartender was friendly and welcoming, and the kitchen churned out the food impressively fast. Great spot all around; I will definitely be back.

It was definitely a great evening. We started with the Kung Park calamari and bread. In our group had everything from the LA burger, crabcakes, mussels, and seafood pot pie. And then we finished off with the donuts, I think I would go back just for those alone. I would recommend if you want a great meal. Maybe a little expensive, but I feel like everywhere in Ocean City is overpriced.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

Still a 5-star experience!…read more The cream of crab is THE BEST in Ocean City. Plain and simple. This trip I got the grilled chicken club sandwich with pasta salad. Longboard Cafe for dinner was a last minute decision made on a whim and it sure didn't disappoint…read more My wife found Longboard Cafe and we immediately thought the menu looked great. We arrived a little before happy hour ended in hopes we could score bar seats. The bar was packed and the restaurant had over an hour wait to be seated. We put our name in, grabbed a drink from the bar, and pondered our next move. Luckily, before we could even finish our drink our table was ready. We were seated upstairs with one other party away from the crowd and the noise. I will say that every single employee we encountered from the hostess, to the bartender, our server, and even the bussers were all incredibly warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure service was up to par. My wife wanted to start with The Kitchen Sink (Nachos with salsa, guacamole, and queso). A great little appetizer to split and pick at while looking over the menu. All three were very good but I thought the guac really stood out. We also ordered the Longboard Wings which aren't your traditional buffalo wings but were delicious in their own right with incredible crunch. As long as you like sticky, sweet wings these wings are for you. For entrees we had the Longboard Burger, Ahi Burger, Fried Cod Tacos, and Yang Yang Cauliflower Bites. The food came out looking great. Bright colors filled the plates and presentation was on point. Our meals were a hit. My dad liked his burger. My mom loved the Cauliflower (which we all loved too because my mom shared it with us). My ahi burger was delicious, and something out of the ordinary for me, despite a few strands of tough connective tissue I had to eat around. The batter on my wife's fried Cod tacos was light and crisp, and the fish itself was flaky. I just wish the sandwiches came with fries instead of pasta salad or mixed greens. As much as we enjoyed our meals, I've already got my eye on a few other menu items next time we visit!
