Good spot for drinks and some casual dinner by the water if you are staying in the Bayside complex. Food is mainly fish focused, rolls, tacos, burgers. Nice views and some games for kids. Also can take a stroll by the pier or down the wooden pier.

Came here for dinner with the family. Heard how laid back it was and off the beaten path. As a local I am looking for places that are quiet and has less tourists. Our first impression was it was a really cool chill place. Right on the water with a great atmosphere. Even though it's a bar/restaurant it is kid friendly. The food selection was very limited. A few appetizers only and sandwiches. No kids menu either. The Cesar salad with chicken was decent. Nothing over the top. The tuna tacos were the same. Just ok. The cheeseburger was over cooked but since it took forever to get the food we didn't complain about it. The service was very slow. Maybe they were understaffed. Our waitress was very nice though. Overall we really liked the atmosphere and would give it another try only because of this and the price was decent too. I hope it gets better.

This restaurant is newer to the community so it wasn't mobbed like a lot of other restaurants in the area. It was quaint & was right in the bay overlooking Ocean City. The decor was strange because they had nice lounge chairs and bar high tops but then for dining it was picnic tables. The food was so so. For a starter, I ordered a crab cake. Now I am from from New England so if this was served up there, it would be considered excellent. However this is right on the border of Maryland so the crab cake was just average if you compare it to other crab cakes at other restaurants in the area. For my main, I ordered a burger and it was pretty good. My philosophy on burgers is that it's pretty hard to mess one up, so the fact they cooked it how I liked it isn't that impressive. Overall, I think this place needs to establish itself a little more & work out the kinks to be successful.

Cute bar and restaurant on the water! We came on a Sunday evening and it was a great casual outdoor vibe. Our service was fast and the waiter was kind and attentive. The menu was a bit limited but still had enough options for dietary restrictions in my group. If you come on a Sunday night you can see fireworks from Northside Park across the water!

Came here on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend for drinks and snacks. Seated right away and greeted by our server right away. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a dessert, which was absolutely delicious. My drink was very yummy too! The view is incredible. Will definitely return!

We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

While the original brand was founded in May 1980 on the downtown Boardwalk by Phil and Marie, the 94th Street uptown location brings that same iconic barbecue joint energy to North OC--serving as a beloved haven for meat lovers and beachgoers looking for a hearty, satisfying meal. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original Bull on the Beach opened on May 28, 1980 on 2nd Street and the Boardwalk. The 94th Street spot was opened to bring their pit-cooking tradition to the uptown crowd.Owners: Founded by husband-and-wife duo Phil and Marie, who moved their family from Baltimore to Ocean City with a vision of creating a classic open-pit barbecue restaurant where guests could watch the meat cook over open flames. It remains a proud, family-operated Maryland staple. The Open Pit Beef Specials The star of the show at Bull on the Beach is their charcoal-cooked, top-round pit beef. Sliced thin to order and piled high on fresh rolls, it's served with signature additions like spicy tiger sauce, raw onions, and horseradish. The Open Pit Beef Platter: The classic, no-frills standard--tender, smoky choice top round sliced to your exact preferred temperature. The Barn & Bay: A classic surf-and-turf sandwich layering open pit beef with a jumbo lump Eastern Shore crab cake, bacon, and tiger sauce. The Dunker: Thinly sliced pit beef smothered in sauteed onions, melted Swiss, and provolone, served with rich homemade au jus for dipping. The Beef Royale: Open pit beef topped with cheddar cheese, bistro mustard, and a beer-battered onion ring. The Legendary Hot Beef & Gravy Platter If there's one comfort meal locals rave about, it's their Famous Hot Beef & Gravy. Hot Beef & Gravy Platter The Build: A massive portion of hot, thinly sliced open pit roast beef piled over thick sourdough bread. The Finish: Accompanied by a mountain of golden French fries (or mashed potatoes) and entirely smothered in rich, savory homemade brown gravy. It's an open-faced diner classic executed to perfection--warm, deeply flavorful, and guaranteed to put you straight into a post-lunch beach nap. Pro TipPair your pit beef or gravy platter with a cold pint or a signature Orange Crush, and grab a seat near the raw bar if you want a side of steamed oysters or Maryland crab soup alongside your barbecue!

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.
