We went on a Wednesday at 5pm and were seated right away. I'm not a big seafood person but they had tons of options. We were seated outside and it was really cool to see the bay while eating. Definitely an experience. Just really hot this day. Also be prepared to spend a lot of money. Checks cannot be broken up in groups- all must pay on one bill. Waiter was great.

The book maker salad and my empty bisque bowl

This was our first visit .... And I have to say I'll come again just for the creamy bisque. The taste and texture were over the top. The place had a nice view of the bay. And inside/outside seating. I took a picture of the bisque, sorry I couldn't wait! I had the fish sandwich my way. Loved it except the roll was uninspiring. It kinda felt and looked stale. The wife had the bookmaker salad which she said was very good. The shrimp were nice and big but could've used some color from the grill. I'd imagine they are steamed plan. Overall a solid 4 but could be a 5+ with some minor modifications. The service was good by Susan L! Either way ... come try the bisque.t

My husband and i absolutely love it here. We found it last year and have been back every trip since. We love that the service is fast and friendly in a beautiful location that's usually not as busy as some places closer to the boardwalk are. We have favorites for food, personally the lobster ravioli, fried mozzarella, and regatta shrimp. We will continue to be back!

Four of us went for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Lovely ambiance. Drinks were good. We ordered a seafood chowder- it was barely warm. It had a strange chunky texture and looked a bit oily. Taste was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The rest of our food was a little more successful: a trio of seafood, some lobster sliders, a mozz and tomato salad, and fried cauliflower were all decent. Truffle fries were another miss. Five of our plates came out together, and we had to chase the waiter down for the last one. I have a feeling he's still learning, so we cut him some slack. I don't know if I'd return - none of the food was outstanding - maybe just for drinks outside overlooking the bay.

This review is based on a small takeout order . I ordered the salad with shrimp . It was ready quickly and the staff was very friendly. The salad itself was a huge portion with a lot of steamed shrimp on it . It could have been so much better had they chopped it up a little and left the cheese off that covered the entire top of the salad.

The view was beautiful! Come here during sunset and you really get to enjoy gorgeous views while you eat. The food was good, just very small portions. I got the lobster ravioli and it came with only four (4) raviolis. I get it if the food is insanely high quality but with pretty average flavors you'd think they'd make up for it in portion sizes. Our waitress was kind and helpful, it was really busy but she was still attentive when we didn't have enough silverware for our whole party and she brought some more out. Would recommend for a beautiful sunset dinner accompanied by some good food.

Came here the Saturdaday of MDW, made an early dinner reservation because we didn't want to fight the crowds. Great food, Water front bay side, a tad expensive and service was sub par.

consistently good! no reservations - go expecting a wait. they said it would be 45 min for our party of 3 and it was 10 min max. this place gets very crowded. large parking lot but it tends to fill up. indoor, rooftop, patio, and true outdoor seating. inside is kinda boring but outside they have sand and a tiki bar and it's on the water so it's good vibes. the food is kinda pricey for what you get but it's the beach, and it's more for vibes. they have delicious french fries (specifically the truffle fries!) and their seafood is good. despite it being busy, our service was good and our food came quickly. a nice spot for happy hour or dinner with a view, but don't expect a michelin star!

Saltwater 75 has a great location along the bay with very pretty sunset views. It's not super fancy, but it's laid out in an aesthetically appealing way. The food is also very good. Their scallops dish was about as good as the most expensive fine dining scallops I've had which cost more than twice as much. The other food was also excellent. It's not fancy food... You eat by the bay with a small pitcher as your water cup. But, several dishes are comparable to what you'd get at a very high end place. Our server was nice. The service wasn't super fast because diners kind of want to lounge there and take in the sunset, but it wasn't slow. They also have fun beach-y cocktails that are crowd pleasers but polished up a bit so that they're proper cocktails, not syrupy sweet concoctions. All in all, a great place.

    Mozzarella logs (special)

We had such a great time here and the food was amazing! Came as a group of 4 and we started with mozzarella logs, which was a special. The logs were cooked perfectly and well seasoned, the cheese had the perfect pull, and the marinara sauce was really good. I also ordered a dirty banana frozen drink which was not overly sweet, and I liked that. For dinner I got the salmon teriyaki. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The pina colada rice was some of the best rice I've ever had! It was light and fluffy and you got that hint of coconut flavor. And the green beans were cooked perfectly, although they did need just a touch more salt. Our hostess and server were very nice and personable. The ambiance was nice. I will definitely be coming back here.

Saltwater 75 is in a great location only a block from the ocean and right on the bay with lots of indoor seating and a great outside "beach" bar with tables set up in the sand overlooking the bay. We were on vacation and looking for a place to enjoy an Orange Crush on Happy Hour near the water to cool off as the temperature was in the 90s. Consensus was to try here as we received the recommendation from a relative in the area. Crushes were good, although the happy hour price was $2 off crushes - a little on the pricier side compared to many of the restaurant/bars we've frequented. After our Crushes my dad and I switched over to $3 bottled Yuenglings. It seems as if they did update their happy hour offerings as their website now advertises 2 for 1 drinks at the bar which I'd prefer over $2 off. My cousins ordered Dirty Bananas which they liked enough to order round 2. We also ordered Fried Mozzarella and Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower to share - both of which were hits. We liked the Mozzarella Sticks so much we thought there'd be a chance they're made and breaded in house - bartender confirmed they're dropped off frozen from a truck. The outside beach bar is very well made and sturdy with concrete bar tops and lots of wooden trusses in the roof. The bartender was nice to us. We were the only ones at the bar for a while so he hung around to chat, had a great sense of humor, and was very down to earth. I would definitely visit again as it's in a great location and I'm sure has a fun atmosphere at night, but not being from the area and having so many other places to try, I'm not sure when I'll be getting back here.

Great atmosphere, wonderful Happy Hour, only thing is only 2 out of 3 bartenders actually working, a teacher and a young lady hustling and both very good bartenders , the 3rd bald dude was useless and actually aggravating, looked at empty cups several times and just rolled on doing basically nothing,I feel bad for the other 2 that were carrying the Happy Hour crowd, they earned their tips, hopefully they don't have to share with "SLO-Mo-Jo".

The main bar was not crowded when we first arrived so we easily scored two bar stools with backs overlooking the south side of the bar. The bar started to fill up after 4 PM. A guy with a guitar sang some songs as per last time. The views of the Atlantic ocean and the bay are great from the Vista rooftop bar and restaurant. . They now offer many flavors of margaritas. Before we left the bar, all high tops were full with customers including customers who were waiting for our bar stools. Some customers seized the high tops, while some went to the secondary bar. A second bartender was called in when the bar became very busy. I opted for my three strawberry margaritas with salted rims for $8 each. I also enjoyed my Tsunami Wontons with Atlantic lobster, jumbo lump crab, avocado, pico de gallo, and wasabi and red pepper coulis for $20. The happy hour menu is different from when we last visited. Bartender Mark served both of us very well. My friend and I split our bill in half. My share of our bill was $49 including a 3% credit card surcharge, but excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for happy hour.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

We arrived right around 1:30pm on a nice (but breezy), sunny Saturday. Since it was a bit windy we decided to sit at Teaser's outdoor bar instead of out on the deck. We had our choice of bar seats on all 4 sides of the bar but the bar quickly filled up not long after. We chose the back side of the bar looking out at the marina which happened to be right by the orange squeezer which was a great move. The bartender, Kate (I believe), made many, many crushes while we were there. It's so nice seeing Orange Crushes made with fresh squeezed OJ. Kate was a pleasure to interact with and she made so many great recommendations (Spicy Mango Crush, Baltimore Club, Mediterranean Grain Bowl). We started with crushes of course, two Orange Crushes and a Grapefruit Crush. I then switched to a Spicy Mango Crush with a Tajin rim and I may have liked that better than the Grapefruit crush. My dad enjoyed my Spicy Mango Crush so much he ordered one for himself. My mom also switched it up and ordered an Espresso Martini which was a little disappointing to say the least. Per one of Kate's suggestions, I got the Baltimore Club which is a crabcake sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and shrimp salad served on an everything bun. The crabcake itself was really, really good and combined with all of the other toppings/fixin's I think this is a must order for me next time I'm here. My mom got the Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and my dad got the Sunset Burger. All sandwiches are served with fries, slaw, or Mediterranean Salad. Everything was so good that we decided to come back the next day for lunch again. I ended up getting the Sunset Burger and my parents both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Kate made another great recommendation as we all decided to go with the Mediterranean Salad as our side and it didn't disappoint. It was light, bright, refreshing, and citrusy. We've been coming to the area now from Jersey for years and have always had good experiences at Sunset Grille. The atmosphere is always great being right on the water but the food and service over these two days may have been the best yet.
