(June 2026) Last summer, I bookmarked this restaurant for a future trip. Fast forward one year later to last night. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. I ordered the salmon teriyaki with rice, green beans and carrots ($30). My wife got the shrimp tacos ($18) and the coleslaw for an up-charge. Our dinners were fine overall with nothing truly standing out. Kiersten, our server, was friendly and took good care of us. Visited on vacation, had a great seat by the water. Nice view and atmosphere. Service started good, but after we placed our order, we didn't see our server again. I enjoyed my dinner, the scallops were delicious. Unfortunately I didn't have a drink the whole meal, wanted to order a cocktail, but never had the opportunity. My family member ordered a salad with house dressing, dressing didn't come with salad. Everyone finished their dinner before he could even eat his. The good: Amazing ambiance outside with plenty of seating. We love the bayside views and the Adirondacks right on the water! Drinks are pretty good. Service isn't bad. The seafood trio and jumbo shrimp apps are great. The not so good: The chicken chesapeake was an abomination. Overall, the entrees were disappointing and lackluster. The ugly: We came here because there was live music advertised from 4-8 pm. No live music at all--pretty disappointing. The creamsicle frozen drink was terrible and our server told us none of the frozen drinks can be made non-alcoholic. Womp. We went on a Wednesday at 5pm and were seated right away. I'm not a big seafood person but they had tons of options. We were seated outside and it was really cool to see the bay while eating. Definitely an experience. Just really hot this day. Also be prepared to spend a lot of money. Checks cannot be broken up in groups- all must pay on one bill. Waiter was great. read more

Great ambiance right on the bay. Multiple seating available inside and out. Parking is free, but the lot can fill up quick. The Buffalo Cauliflower is fantastic! The flounder fish was ok, tasted fishy and had to add lemon. The salmon dish was good. Great selection of specialty drinks as well. Service was good and attentive. read more

This was our first visit .... And I have to say I'll come again just for the creamy bisque. The taste and texture were over the top. The place had a nice view of the bay. And inside/outside seating. I took a picture of the bisque, sorry I couldn't wait! I had the fish sandwich my way. Loved it except the roll was uninspiring. It kinda felt and looked stale. The wife had the bookmaker salad which she said was very good. The shrimp were nice and big but could've used some color from the grill. I'd imagine they are steamed plan. My husband and i absolutely love it here. We found it last year and have been back every trip since. We love that the service is fast and friendly in a beautiful location that's usually not as busy as some places closer to the boardwalk are. Ordered Calamari and Rockfish. Both were over seasoned with very spicy seasonings, so much so I couldn't taste the food. Ordered two side of mussels. It came with onion and green peppers. A person in our party is allergic to peppers. No mention of green peppers on the menu. 8 of the shells did not open. Any cook worth their salt knows you don't serve shellfish when the shells don't open! Waitress was nice but never offered to take anything back and make it right. $300 later the manager received my opinion of this really nice restaurant with good food done wrong and the server who wasn't accommodating at all. read more

Again, on our 30th Anniv trip, we looked around for a restaurant and we decided to give this one a try since it was in the same place we used to go to - BJ's. The parking lot was full, so I was a bit alarmed at our chance to get a table. I was wrong. The place is HUGE and has a wonderful view of the water's edge. We sat inside by an open wall to view the scenery. BEAUTIFUL. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower and it was scrummy - def 9/10. Our server could have been more vocal and personable, but our dinners were delicious, the portions good, the atmosphere was clean and open, it wasn't too loud (though at high season, it could be with as many tables as there were), and the price was decent. Four of us went for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Lovely ambiance. Drinks were good. We ordered a seafood chowder- it was barely warm. It had a strange chunky texture and looked a bit oily. Taste was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The rest of our food was a little more successful: a trio of seafood, some lobster sliders, a mozz and tomato salad, and fried cauliflower were all decent. Truffle fries were another miss. Five of our plates came out together, and we had to chase the waiter down for the last one. I have a feeling he's still learning, so we cut him some slack. I don't know if I'd return - none of the food was outstanding - maybe just for drinks outside overlooking the bay. read more

This review is based on a small takeout order . I ordered the salad with shrimp . It was ready quickly and the staff was very friendly. The salad itself was a huge portion with a lot of steamed shrimp on it . It could have been so much better had they chopped it up a little and left the cheese off that covered the entire top of the salad. read more

The view was beautiful! Come here during sunset and you really get to enjoy gorgeous views while you eat. The food was good, just very small portions. I got the lobster ravioli and it came with only four (4) raviolis. I get it if the food is insanely high quality but with pretty average flavors you'd think they'd make up for it in portion sizes. Our waitress was kind and helpful, it was really busy but she was still attentive when we didn't have enough silverware for our whole party and she brought some more out. Would recommend for a beautiful sunset dinner accompanied by some good food. read more

We made a reservation for 9 people 3 weeks in advance and when we showed up (10 minutes early, mind you, and willing to wait) were told we had no choice but to split into 2 tables. Which ruined our usually wonderful last family meal during our annual family vacation. To say we are disappointed is putting it unbelievably lightly. We usually love this place. consistently good! no reservations - go expecting a wait. they said it would be 45 min for our party of 3 and it was 10 min max. this place gets very crowded. large parking lot but it tends to fill up. indoor, rooftop, patio, and true outdoor seating. inside is kinda boring but outside they have sand and a tiki bar and it's on the water so it's good vibes. the food is kinda pricey for what you get but it's the beach, and it's more for vibes. they have delicious french fries (specifically the truffle fries!) and their seafood is good. despite it being busy, our service was good and our food came quickly. a nice spot for happy hour or dinner with a view, but don't expect a michelin star! read more

Saltwater 75 has a great location along the bay with very pretty sunset views. It's not super fancy, but it's laid out in an aesthetically appealing way. The food is also very good. Their scallops dish was about as good as the most expensive fine dining scallops I've had which cost more than twice as much. The other food was also excellent. It's not fancy food... You eat by the bay with a small pitcher as your water cup. But, several dishes are comparable to what you'd get at a very high end place. Our server was nice. The service wasn't super fast because diners kind of want to lounge there and take in the sunset, but it wasn't slow. They also have fun beach-y cocktails that are crowd pleasers but polished up a bit so that they're proper cocktails, not syrupy sweet concoctions. All in all, a great place. read more

We had such a great time here and the food was amazing! Came as a group of 4 and we started with mozzarella logs, which was a special. The logs were cooked perfectly and well seasoned, the cheese had the perfect pull, and the marinara sauce was really good. I also ordered a dirty banana frozen drink which was not overly sweet, and I liked that. For dinner I got the salmon teriyaki. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The pina colada rice was some of the best rice I've ever had! It was light and fluffy and you got that hint of coconut flavor. And the green beans were cooked perfectly, although they did need just a touch more salt. Our hostess and server were very nice and personable. The ambiance was nice. The concierge at our hotel recommended this place to us. It was overall fine. The inside is very spacious. There is a nice drink menu with several cocktails and some local beer selections. I love the tiny pitchers that the waters came in. I got a painkiller that was a tad watery, but still scratched the itch. We tried the feta dip appetizer, which was decent; I just wish they gave us a little more bread to dip into it! I got some of the corn and crab bisque; this wasn't bad. Not a silky bisque like I'd expected, but I like a little texture, so it worked for me. I'd get this again. The buffalo cauliflower felt like it was missing something. Maybe it was light on the buffalo sauce or maybe the bacon dust was just gilding the lily and distracted from it. My wife's po' boy sandwich was made better when she asked for some more sauce to go with it. So overall, nothing bad. The food is decent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. read more

Saltwater 75 is in a great location only a block from the ocean and right on the bay with lots of indoor seating and a great outside "beach" bar with tables set up in the sand overlooking the bay. We were on vacation and looking for a place to enjoy an Orange Crush on Happy Hour near the water to cool off as the temperature was in the 90s. Consensus was to try here as we received the recommendation from a relative in the area. Crushes were good, although the happy hour price was $2 off crushes - a little on the pricier side compared to many of the restaurant/bars we've frequented. After our Crushes my dad and I switched over to $3 bottled Yuenglings. It seems as if they did update their happy hour offerings as their website now advertises 2 for 1 drinks at the bar which I'd prefer over $2 off. My cousins ordered Dirty Bananas which they liked enough to order round 2. We also ordered Fried Mozzarella and Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower to share - both of which were hits. We liked the Mozzarella Sticks so much we thought there'd be a chance they're made and breaded in house - bartender confirmed they're dropped off frozen from a truck. The outside beach bar is very well made and sturdy with concrete bar tops and lots of wooden trusses in the roof. The bartender was nice to us. We were the only ones at the bar for a while so he hung around to chat, had a great sense of humor, and was very down to earth. I would definitely visit again as it's in a great location and I'm sure has a fun atmosphere at night, but not being from the area and having so many other places to try, I'm not sure when I'll be getting back here. read more

First visit to Ocean City, MD & a very nice dinner at Saltwater75 6/03/25 6:30pm. Although quite popular, it was very unhurried at the upstairs bar. Nice & breezy on the inlet. Lots of seating upstairs & downstairs. Plenty of parking. The bartender was Andrew R and he took our drink orders. Square Knot margarita ($10) tangy, not sweet & house Pinot Grigio ($7.50). We had Casino rock oysters app ($19)-3 nice fresh oysters, lemon & Tabasco sauce to kick 'em up. Our dinners were shrimp Po' Boy dressed ($18) perfectly cooked, w/ Remoulade-a generous serving & broiled Lemon Pepper Cod ($28) - excellent, served w/ nice side of grilled veggies. Dinners were served promptly & hot. Note: Maryland has a food & beverage tax and a MD alcohol tax on top of their state tax (total tax $8.35). Open 7 days a week 11am-12pm, kitchen closes at 10pm. Came Tue night for dinner. Looking for a sunset view, we were advised to head upstairs. However, the bar across the top of the glass obstructed the full sight line. To really take in the view, you had to look above or below it. The service was friendly and kind, but the food was not great. The shrimp/scallops and pork/pineapple entree each lacked flavor, and the calamari app was spicy, despite no indication in the description that it would be so. Lastly, I know musicians need gigs to get their name out there, so I won't name anyone, but it was just, ok. It was rather slow and melodramatic. Beach restaurant prices are already higher than other places.. so we would not return again. read more

I'll start with the best to worst. Party of 7, we were seated right in front of the beautiful Bay. Food was good, not great and service was poor. Our waitress took our drink and food order. I asked if she could take our family photo and she was nice enough to take the picture when asked, BUT after that service went down hill. She was at a table behind us talking forever. We all got our meals, delivered by a different person, but my son's grilled chicken salad came with no dressing. I was trying to get her attention and she was ignoring me. She finally looked at me and I said my son needs his salad dressing and she nodded her head with an attitude. I'm thinking sorry you have to actually do your job duties! My son finally got his dressing after we all basically finished our meals. And again someone else brought the dressing. She never came back to ask how our meal was or if we needed drinks entire time until we were done. My son finished his drink right before his meal came. He thought after this bad service his was not ordering a drink now, not giving any more of our business. She was horrible! Lucky I gave any stars. Not going back!! Disappointed. This place was great when it first opened and has stopped carrying about quality. I have gotten the dip trio multiple times without issue and this time the tuna was too spicy. Not sure if the recipe changed or what but it was inedible. Asked to sub out the tuna and keep the other part that I was enjoying. I was told I have to give back the whole plate and order something else. Makes zero sense. I ordered nothing and left hungry. Beautiful views and family friendly but leaves room for improvement. Don't come here with friends! Food was good but they will no longer do separate checks. Table of 4 and they wouldn't do two checks or even compute how much each couple's bill was. They just dumped it on the table for us to figure out. That's an annoying end to the evening and unnecessary since the technology to provide separate checks is readily available. We showed up as a party of seven at 3 PM on a Sunday and were welcomed with open arms. The seating options were awesome--indoor, rooftop, or right on the beach. We went for the bayside beach, and it didn't disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious, with a Mediterranean twist (feta in almost everything, but hey, no complaints!). I had the bisque soup and salmon salad--both were spot-on, with portions that definitely don't leave you hungry. Our waitress was fantastic, happily splitting our checks without batting an eye. The place is new and it shows--everything was super clean, including the restrooms. The view of the bay, swinging chairs, and picnic tables made for a perfect setting. The food ,although good , had portions that were so extremely skimpy I had to wright a review. I'll post some pics too. The music was amazing. But the establishment needs to balance their sound more from the musicians. The sound was louder from the wall speakers on the opposite side of were the musicians were. This is also the side facing the complaining condos . It's weird watching musicians sing and the voices / sound comes elsewhere. The service was ok . The biggest disappointment was the pulled pork sandwich that had basically no meat. My parents have been coming here for a while and S75 were on their game when we came to visit 4th of July week. At 7:30, it took only 5 minutes to get a table. The service was speedy and attentive. The view looking out the bay was gorgeous with a huge sandy area and sunset view. We all started with a huge a plate of edamame that somehow was topped with everything bagel mix. My pasta penne was fabulous and full of big flavors from pesto, garlic, and roasted tomatoes. Everyone was happy enough with their sandwiches, and the fries were nice and not overdone like a lot of restaurants around here. read more

Beautiful place Been 2 x both horrible bar service Bartenders at outside bar are clueless. No personality do not acknowledge you sitting 2 feet in front of them.
