We came here after a morning of fishing with empty bellies . They were close enough and within walking distance from our hotel . They only have outdoor seating and the weather was a little chilly but thank goodness they were able to put down decide of the tent we were seated in which blocked the wind and help keep some warmth inside. They also have a bar that sits right on the dock and it's covered that people were watching games on the multiple tvs. I decided to go with a boom boom shrimp and the chicken tenders with fries basket because I figure you couldn't get that wrong and with the chill, I wanted something deep fried and hot lol. I did request for the sauce to be on the side for the shrimp so that I could control if I wanted it or not. The shrimp or your average frozen pre battered shrimp and one even came with a piece of hair. The french fries were hot and crispy along with the chicken strips and they got the job done.

Food was terrible. Drinks were good. Food overpriced and not good. Worker was very busy.

Only can beer ... with option of drinking from plastic cup... beer doesn't taste the same in plastic ...

I wanted to eat lunch outside on the bay, watch the boats come in with the local catch, and listen to "DJ Harvey Cinco" (so I thought). I guess all of O.C. had the same idea with the nice weather because the deck was definitely rocking. It was LOUD, lively, and very crowded on the dock. I found what I was looking for under "Speciality Sandwiches " , "The Big Fish" , with cilantro lime sauce and served with Old Bay chips, pickle, and slaw . I love a simple fried fish sandwich on a potato roll and this did not disappoint. The disappointment was only canned beer, with a very poor selection of IPA's , and how LOUD the music was! We ate the sandwiches as quickly as possible and asked for the check as soon as the food came out. This level of noise required immediate extraction. FWIW

Good place for food and drinks that is right on the water. They had live music and the servers were nice. I had the fish and chips, shrimp, and fish tacos. All the seafood tasted fresh. I liked how the fish tacos came with a mango salsa. The cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp was nice and strong. The orange crush was decently strong as well.

Excellent atmosphere. Food was very good, we had the Crab Balls, fries with beer cheese, Maryland fish and chips. Server could have been a little more attentive.

Checked out Mr. Ducks during our stay in Ocean City. It feels like a very touristy type of place and the food/pricing sort of reflected that. It's a tiki-bar style with some nice views of the water on the outside deck. Loved some of the themes on the outside bar. The beers were cold but the food left much to be desired. We split some of the crab balls for an app, those were very good, enjoyed the dipping sauce those came with. 5 balls for $17 little too much. My wife got a salad that she said was okay, nothing special. For my entree I went with the Maryland fish and chips. Some beer battered rockfish that comes with Old Bay chips unless you pay the extra to upgrade for some fries. The fish was decent, 4 small pieces but it was a little too greasy for my liking and fell apart too easily, was definitely expecting more. They had a special beer collab with Burley Oak that you can only get a Mr. Ducks, this was cool. Service was timely and friendly. It's definitely worth checking out during your visit to Ocean City, just don't expect to be blown away.

We were promptly seated and given a drink menu with many options. We were seated in an open air spot on the water at a pub table. The menu is diverse with many options for different tastes. We ordered the fries to share as an appetizer. It was an insane portion of hand cut potatoes loaded with all of the toppings indicated on the menu. Three of us decided to split two pizzas and an order of wings for dinner, and the other ordered sandwich. The food came out, piping hot, and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the parking is easily accessible. Do not go to OC without checking out this cool spot.

Now, 50 years later, Phillips is gone and many establishments advertise their Crabs as the best in OC. Having not been here since 2012, I need to scour the reviews to find where we could get the best take out seafood especially Maryland Crabs. Lo and behold, just steps away from our Courtyard Marriott is the Crab Stop. It's before season so many places are still closed but the Owner answered when I called, had a great sense of humor, and happily took my order for a designated pick up time. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just completed the order, packed it up, and we were out the door in minutes. This is a Father/Son establishment. Dave (?) the Father is 85 and his son Tom (?) run this fine eatery. It's built for take out and there is no disappointment. We ordered 6 large crabs, 1# of Lump Crab and 2 ears of corn. Within minutes our table was covered with crab, crab shells, Old Bay, and we savored every minute of the delicious fresh sweet crab meat. Look no further than Crab Stop to enjoy the best crabs that OC has to offer and the friendliness and service of these two gentlemen.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

Not much has changed with the ambiance - bar atmosphere, with each time there being a live music act when we came in to eat. As a party of 10 the last two years (a yearly trip) we were sat in front of the music. Not my favorite place as it's hard to have a conversation but the music was good. We had a younger waiter take care of us - we put in some drinks - I ordered a blackberry bourbon tea. It wasn't very sweet or flavorful. Almost like it was watered down. Meh. We put in several apps to start our meal: crab pierogis, cheesesteak egg rolls and crab dip. The crab pierogis sounded good - but the sauce on them or around them was watery. Another person in our party got the crab corn chowder- it was watery. Chowders are thicker, not thin. The cheesesteak egg rolls were good - had a nice flavor to them. The crab dip was very very flavorful - maybe one of the best on the island I have had. For my meal I ordered the Baltimore bird which is fried chicken topped with crab dip. It was a HUGE piece of chicken and looked great -- then I took a bite. The chick was raw inside. Hoping it was just a part of the breast I bit into another part - middle chicken was pink and raw. What makes matters even worse was the Heinz ketchup bottle on the table - billed as a Pittsburgh bar - did not have Heinz in it. Ketchup was way too sweet - definitely off brand. We shared desserts as a table - the brownie Ala mode and the tower brownie cheesecake. Both were.. well small. Good taste but, limited. Again - just ok overall.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
