The interior design in this store was so cute and I loved looking at all the little figurines and art on the walls. Service was relatively quick and I got my drink within about 5-7 minutes. The mochi matcha tasted like a regular matcha drink and the chewiness of the mochi in the middle layer was not for me, but I can see other people enjoying it. I was a bit confused because I got agar boba and expected it to be black tapioca pearls but they ended up actually being clear pearls in the middle layer of the drink. i waited 22 minutes for 2 drinks which i didn't have a problem with, it typically takes 10-15 mins for drinks at other 3cat locations. when i received my text telling me my order was ready, i stood at the counter for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me at all. i cut the guy some slack because i can see he's busy with a bunch of drinks.. another guy came to pick up a drink and had to wait a few minutes but eventually spoke up when the worker started calling new drink orders. i noticed he wasn't going to say anything to me so i had to say my order number for him to even look at me. my drinks were pretty melted by the time i got them. as much as i like 3cat, the wait wasn't worth it. there are a lot of other spots that have similar drinks with nicer and faster service read more

Mochi Barley Burst!! There are many boba shops in this area but 3CT is definitely the most unique. After our trip to Taiwan and Malaysia we were really craving real tea flavor and 3CT did not disappoint. They have drinks you won't find anywhere else--not too sweet. Ordering is done through the screens so not much to say about the service apart from the drinks being made quickly and the cafe being clean and cute. 3CT has seen considerable success recently so be prepared to wait in line to order. Holy moly, this may or may be not my FAVORITE boba shop in the Bay Area. We got the Mochi Barley Burst and Jade Matcha with minimum sugar. Both drinks were FIRE. Not watery, strong tea flavor, and drinks were not too sweet. I might have to become a regular here. Store was super clean as well. I saw that most of the negative reviews were about the service. This spot is super lowkey and is in the same plaza as sunright & xing fu tang, (which does make it hard to choose). Right off the bat, the drinks were unique and different from most spots. I tried the osmanthus oolong tea with soymilk foam. This drink was so good and refreshing and the foam was so good. Usually I am not a fan of cheese foam/sea salt cream since it is too rich, but the soymilk foam has a nutty taste to it which compliments the tea very well and isn't overpowering. My only complaint was that I wish the drinks came in a larger size. After a few sips my drink was all gone. I will definitely be back to try more drinks! My friend's gf really wanted boba from this place, so we rushed over after dinner at Daeho and were able to make it right before they closed at 8:30! Unfortunately, since we were there so late, a lot of their drinks were sold out :( However, I was able to get the mango mochi drink which was really good! The mango pieces and puree at the bottom was super fresh. Even my mom commented that it tasted good and fresh, which is rare cause this lady is always saying things are too sweet lol. The drinkable mochi had nice texture, similar to what you can get at Sunright. Overall, I thought it was a nice balance of mochi, milk, and mango mixed together. They also added some whip cream and tiny wafer pieces at the top, which was a nice addition. Wafer pieces (I think that's how they described it) is a terrible description and doesn't sound super appetizing in a drink. But trust me, it was good, it added a flavor similar to those instant Chinese oatmeals that you can get (you know the ones with creamer and stuff mixed in, iykyk). The shop itself had a ton of small cat figurines, which were super cute. I wish it had more tables and seats though. There was lot of open space that could have been put to good use. read more

Not the kind of boba shop I'd ever go to of my own accord but I went with it to validate a hypothesis. Apparently my definition of good mango flavor is not as refined as it could be. The recommendation I got was for the mochi mango but the mango sweet dew sounded a lot more up my alley so I chose that instead. There were a lot of people waiting for their orders so I took that as a good sign. I'm not sure I could taste any jasmine green tea content in the mango sweet dew but the fresh mango and coconut milk flavors were definitely coming through. I wasn't sure what to expect with the pomelo topping, it was quite tart but as someone that likes sour I can't say I disliked it. The mango definitely reminded me of the super sweet Phillipine ones, which I can't say has ever appealed to me personally but it provided good sweetness and flavor to the drink. I'd totally recommend this spot if you're particular about your sweet mangos, but for me personally I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit. read more

I'll admit I came here for the aesthetics, but it was a clear sign that this place had to be good since it was PACKED on the day of the storm. There was a nonstop line at the two ordering kiosks and plenty of people standing inside waiting for their drinks. I went with a simple, recommended drink: Cheese roasted milk tea with 50% sweetness. You can really taste the roasted oolong in this and the milk does not overtake it at all. The cheese mousse topping is light and velvety. I'd give this drink a solid 8/10. The inside has about five small cafe tables with stools and a long booth style seat. Not really the type of place to study at but more for a casual hangout. There's a lot of cute cat figurines on the counters and fun wall art. This shop is located in a strip plaza with its own parking lot with plenty of spaces.
