I ordered a large hot matcha latte with lavender syrup for sweetener. It is by far the coziest, smoothest, most delicious matcha I've ever had. I also ordered a toasted blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It looks good and tastes even better -- served on a nice white plate for dining in. The name drew me to this place and it is indeed a third place. As I read my book, I noticed all kinds of people come and go with really nice conversations springing up. The vibe is welcoming, safe, and curious like you could have a movie moment any second. I highly recommend this spot if you're on the run, want a nice morning treat, or have a few moments to sit and enjoy this third place. read more

I didn't like either of my coffees. They were very bitter. I got a Pooh coffee that I think I got upcharged for oat milk but it doesn't say this on the menu and I'm a cows milk girl. And I got the tres leches which was chunky from the caramel and bitter also. The food looked really good if I go back I'll try some food and a regular coffee. My husband was so excited to try out this new place. We are locals and have tried most of the coffee shops around here. First off everyone was so nice here. However the prices are insane. We got two sandwiches, one coffee and one matcha. The total was $42 ! I was a little surprised because it was just this small turkey sandwich with no side..because that's $1 extra for chips. My husband was convinced that how much it costs for us to order at Bagels and Brews. We went to Bagel and Brews and ordered similar if not identical items and it was $27. I thought the food was nothing special for $42. My matcha was actually good but I don't know if that alone would bring me back. It's also summer so it's very hot , I was sweating eating my food. Where do I even begin! I came here one morning and got a vanilla latte and their sausage breakfast burrito with green salsa, and it was DIVINE. Such a perfect start to my morning! I loved it so much, I brought my brother over a few weeks later and he loved it just as much as well! Firstly, I loved my first time here, which was not too long ago! Friendly staff, too. I ordered the iced monastery latte with a bagel. The latte was so GOOD. It was a taste I've never had before, since I am normally a 'no sweetness of any kind added to my coffee' kind of person. I came back 2 more times for that coffee, but both of those times I got the wrong coffee. The first time, I took my first sip as I was already driving away. The 2nd time, I was still there but I was in a rush to get somewhere so I just left. Also, thinking back, I think I was in denial that it happened to me again. Kitchen does not care about dietary restrictions or food intolerances/allergies. My boyfriend and I ordered two burritos: one sausage and one vegan. I have not eaten meat in over 15 years, and am lactose intolerant. The kitchen labeled the sausage burrito as vegan, which I unfortunately found out after a couple of bites. I have spent all day with severe stomach pain, even after throwing up. If you are vegan/vegetarian, or have food allergies, I would not recommend eating here. read more

3rd Place Coffee's chai latte is the best I've ever had. Their bagels are thick and fluffy. Their sandwiches and breakfast burritos are pressed which gives an amazing crisp texture that I love. The space is spacious, modern and clean. My daughter loves playing Connect 4 and other board games here. They have had top notch customer service since day 1. We were here when they were bombarded by 30 hikers. None of the staff showed any distress and kept their positivity. The owner brought out a whole dispenser of coffee just for that group to apologize for the wait and they gave him a round of applause. Great neighborhood spot! Variety of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, bagels, and pastries. Solid coffee (intelligentsia) and even pour over options. I really enjoyed the bagel breakfast sandwich which was panini pressed. Filtered water sitting out with proper glasses is so appreciated. The employees are so friendly and you can tell they really support each other during the morning rush. Positive atmosphere and great space for friends and family to come together. This place opened a few hours ago! It seems to be a family run place owned by a lovely gentleman named John. The café has been updated, looks much more airy and open compared to the previous business that was there. There are plenty of criticisms that could be addressed about the food (This morning I got to try three of their bagel sandwiches). At the time of writing this review, the bagels I ordered were low quality supermarket bagels with cheap sliced cheese that was not properly melted. The sausage in the breakfast sandwich is another cheap and flavorless packaged sausage that's reheated in the microwave. I understand that they don't have a big kitchen, however, the previous owners had the same kitchen and equipment and did really well with every single food item that they offered. They also prepared everything with love. There's no love here. You can tell. It seems like this place opened too early before anyone had a chance to find the proper vendors and now they are stuck not being able to serve more than half of their menu on the first day and serving the worst quality bagels. They do have good coffee, but if they want to compete with other local breakfast places they really need to step it up because they are against far better options. Three stars for solid coffee and nice staff. We shall wait to see what improvements they will make! read more

Ideas and menu are amazing. They just need like 25% extra effort in the kitchen and this place would be a hit! Tried the Jalapeno bagel and it came out cold. My advice- get some better bagels (both times I've had a bagel they were too big and dry), toast them more so they're crispy. Fresh bacon (they definitely use microwave.) cream cheese on both sides. And some classic American cheese that melts better. Maybe they just messed mine up and normally it's better? My kids got a breakfast burrito and it was pretty good even without salsa. But again, non microwaved bacon would make it 10 times better. The coffee drinks sound like they will be so fun too but mine just lacked flavor. The coffee tastes great but it was supposed to be a brown sugar latte but all I tasted was coffee and milk. read more
