I ordered the spicy chicken shawarma. This was my first time trying Nigerian shawarma. The wrap by itself was about $9, and for the price, you get a heavily filled wrap. I would give this dish a 7/10. The chicken inside the wrap was hefty but so was the sauce. I enjoyed the level of spice but would've liked less sauce. Perfect item for lunch on the go. The chicken was white meat which made the wrap slightly dry and the sauce doesn't help. I would get it again tho. Solid! read more

This was my first time eating 3tees Shawarma and it was catered at a birthday party that I attended. While I like the potential of the wrap, it was EXTREMELY greasy for my liking. Like an excessive amount of oil was used in the prep which made it very messy and difficult to enjoy. I've believe they also used cabbage in it (which I'm not a personal fan of) so I would probably leave it off of my next one. Overall I think the wrap was good as it was flavorful and pretty spicy but I'll probably have to request some adjustments if I come back to purchase on my own. read more

Why do you have customers give card info over the phone? It's so bad! When they tried this with me I told them I'd rather place my order over Uber eats for pick up! Glad I did! I'm over at a good friends place and she told me her experience with this company taking her card over the phone and her later getting a charge from Nordstrom Rack (kids). $400!!!!! The food is absolutely delicious, and some of the staff are truly amazing. BUT one of the ladies who works there is rude. She rung my order up incorrectly and then argued with me that I never said the correct order and then charged me for four waters instead of one. I stayed calmed the entire time and when trying to talk to her she yells out "Jesus Christ", I was just confused why the bill was almost $20 when the individual Shawarma wasn't even $10. I told her it was fine, I would get the one she rung up, and they still gave me the wrong order. Different from what I ordered and what she said she rung up. I love their food but I hate bad service. Used to be super yummy now it's kinda bleh-- ordered the chicken and beef shawarma and instead of mixing the meat they literally did half chicken and half beef in the shawarma. Very odd experience. Also you have to request your shawarma to be extra crispy and extra sauce because if not you'll end up with a dry shawarma with soft, under toasted pita bread. Best Shawarma in Houston! They are served super Crispy and with a good amount of sauce. If you don't like spicy you can ask them to hold it but I recommend you to try their mild, it's just delicious. I'm honestly upset I'm just now finding out about this place. Oh my gosh. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon, around 12. It's honestly in a very familiar place but I never really noticed it. The staff and the owner were pretty friendly. I ordered the chicken, beef and sausage shawarma (spicy) with sweet potato fries. The food took about 15 minutes but it's prepared fresh for you. I tasted the sweet potato fries in the car.. AND IT WAS AT THAT MOMENT I KNEWWWWW GOD JUST DID SOMETHING MIRACULOUS IN MY LIFE..... I just knew the shawarma wouldn't disappoint either and surely enough, it did NOT. I ate it before reaching my next destination... risked my life driving tbh but it was worth it. This was a drive by find. Pretty interesting place and menu. Food is incredibly cheap if you keep it simple. I had a chicken shawarma zobo drink (hibiscus/ginger) and sweet potato fries. The shawarma for $5 is going to be hard to beat. More than enough and if ordered spicy most people will find it hot. The side was small more like a sample but the SP fries were perfect. The drink was herbal somewhere b/w sweet and bitter. Really nice owner and steady stream of customers in and out. for the price I gotta say not bad at all. I'll be back to try more. read more

Within the last year in which I left Houston and returned, this gem arose. It is a small, cute place located on Westheimer. It is also quiet too. If you wanted to dine in, that is possible. There is also a TV in there if you wanted entertainment while dining. We had our food to-go. Based on learned advice by my sister (who is obsessed with this place), I went with the shawarma. While the chicken is her favorite because "it really absorbs the sauce," I went with the beef and chicken shawarma. It was heavenly. Be ready to gain some calories and also gain some soul from the flavor. I got it spicy and it was a great kick - not overwhelming. Apparently, you could order an off-menu spice if you are an overwhelming spice person. I also took a gamble here and had the skewered snail (Nigerian-style escargot). I have not had some since I was a child and it brought back pleasant memories. It was just like I remembered. It was stewed well. Give it a try sometime. ------------------ Tips: 1) This is not a Mediterranean shawarma place, it is African (Nigerian to be exact). Give it a try still! Nigerians also make a mean one. 2) I did not get a drink called "Zobo," but also try it. I grew up on Zobo. Zobo is a drink made from dried hibiscus. It is usually brewed with fresh ginger. People get fancy with it by also including sugar, honey, fruits (I have done pineapples), and fruit flavorings. It is then chilled and served. I dream about the chicken shawarma from here. Being 1/2 Armenian it's different then a traditional middle eastern shawarma I grew up eating....however the flavor at 3Tees is phenomenal. I do like spice and heat so I order it spicy, with raised eyebrows from the staff sometimes but I love it. If heat isn't for you they come in 3 levels of heat, no shame in getting the mild. Also this place appeals to my other 1/2 which is Dominican. They have Malta here! I've brought my daughter here and she loves the chicken and noodles. Sides are all good too. So flavorful and they have different spice levels for the sauce which is not too overpowering either. Also it's a good amount of meat inside the wrap so I'm not left disappointed at all. The best fish pepper soup in Houston and surrounding area. The first time we visited 3Tees was when I placed an order for a large group outside of their work hours and the owner accommodated my request to come early to work and make this happen. This actually won me over to their restaurant. I never thought a day would come that I'd have to leave a negative review for 3 tees. I've enjoyed going there since inception, but it's extremely important I leave this public health warning here so health conscious people can make informed choices. I called to place an order for shawarmas, and proceeded to ask if the kitchen staffs were wearing masks. The guy I spoke with said he was wearing a mask but didn't know if the kitchen staffs were. That should have been my clue they weren't wearing masks since the kitchen was right behind the register. However, I wanted to believe they had made changes since my last visit 2weeks prior when I noticed they weren't wearing masks. I requested to speak with someone in the Kitchen, the manager came up to the phone and told me they were wearing masks as it's the sanitary thing to do to keep people safe. I placed my order and started my 30minutes drive to pick up my food. On getting there, I was extremely disappointed the kitchen staffs were all clustered together unable to practice social distancing (it's a small kitchen) and had no face covering. I was angry and proceeded to complain to a lady in the front (I believe she's the owner). The next statement out of this lady's mouth was "kitchen staffs aren't required to wear masks unless they are sick". I was so appalled I almost passed out. One, I couldn't believe she'd make sick workers come to work. Two, how does she not know not everybody with the virus has symptoms. In this unprecedented time where other businesses are doing everything possible to keep their customers safe, I couldn't believe 3 tees couldn't be bothered to follow CDC's recommendation and protect their customers by making staffs wear some form of face covering when they clearly are unable to practice social distancing. I especially felt violated they lied to me. 3 tees can decide to do nothing to protect their customers, but it's my right to decide where I take my business to. Robbing me of that choice by lying shows a lack of integrity. read more

Let me preface this review by saying that the shawarma is delicious. However, when it comes to service, it is a bit lacking. I phoned in a pick up order fifteen minutes prior and arrived to wait an additional ten minutes. They are severely understaffed, so if you are planning on coming for a quick bite, it may take more than twenty to thirty minutes. Other than the inconvenience of having to wait an unusually long time for a simple order, I would say the food is pretty delicious.
