Food was good. Service was ok. I asked to sit outside but asked not in the patio where people were smoking hookah, there was some hesitancy. For those who care, bathrooms were not great. I asked for water, waitress refused to give me a water cup but instead charged me 2.50 each for bottled water. We stopped here after going to west chase and on the way home. It was our first time inside. We had previously gotten take out and it was pretty good. The inside is small and a bit shabby, but it was a nice day so we sat on the patio. It was also in need of some remodeling, but it was comfortable and not busy. There was only one waitress, but she was nice and friendly and helpful. We ordered the shawarma wraps: beef and Philly chicken, chicken Alfredo flat bread pizza, hummus with pita, fried cauliflower, a Greek salad, labneh and mint lemon slushies (as recommended by the waitress). The wraps do not come with sides so when you add sides (they don't offer side salads) it starts to add up. The food was tasty and fresh; I wished the pita was served warm like the wraps though. My husband and daughter loved the slushies. Our bill was 98 with tip which is pricey for lunch at a very casual cafe, but at least it was tasty and the weather was nice! I enjoyed a yummy beef shawarma platter here on a quiet Friday evening. The entrance to the restaurant itself is a bit out of the way, tucked behind an unassuming strip mall, but had some indoor and ample outdoor seating. The beef shawarma platter came with a sizeable amount of meat, pita, fries, tahini, hummus, onions, and pickles. What I enjoyed about this meal was the meat - while perhaps slightly dry, that was easily remedied with the addition of the tahini/hummus. I also felt that the portion sizes were quite generous, to the point that even I as a voracious eater felt quite full afterwards. I was a little bummed that they did not offer any rice as a default option, and the pita was a bit flat as opposed to fluffy, but overall can't complain too much for the price of ~$16. The service was also prompt, though to be fair I was the only one in the restaurant for the majority of the Friday evening. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick Mediterranean fix in the area, particularly to any meat lovers out there. read more

The food and service were great. However I did have 3 issues. One, the ceiling was extremely dirty. Two, when ask what we wanted to drink, we said just water. They brought us bottles of water and didn't think anything about it since I've been to places that serve water bottles. I didn't know that they were going to charge $2.25 for each bottle. Wow, wowwwww!! I stumbled upon this place a few months ago and luckily I am in love with mediterranean food. This place is a staple for me and I highly recommend checking it out. My typical order would be a Chicken Shawarma platter or Chicken Shawarma wrap. The platter comes with their amazing chicken shawarma with hummus and fresh veggies. Also a basket of fries & pita bread. Most importantly their signature tahini sauce, OooooHhhh man! Best tahini sauce i've had so far. The wrap is served in two pieces so it's quite easy to eat. Their Shawarma wrap is not messy at all, typically when I eat a wrap it's messy. This one held up pretty nicely. This is comfort food to me and it can turn a frown upside down. For dessert, my go to is their Baklava! Ugh so good. it's a delicious, flaky dessert made with thin sheets of dough soaked in honey and layered with nuts. Nothing but perfection! The service here is amazing, i've never had any problems. The owner is really nice, greets anyone that comes through his doors. So we'd driven past this restaurant and we were both very happy we finally pulled in and tried it. The staff was very friendly, the food was tasty, and we both loved the atmosphere. Next time we'll have to try the hookah. The patio is beautiful and somehow the was they had the fans wasn't super loud, and kept away flies. We're both looking forward to returning. Oh, they also sell Turkish coffee with the pot so not only did we have an amazing dinner, I was able to explore an entirely amazing coffee experience the next morning. Walking in I was greeted immediately by the waitress who seated me ASAP. I ordered the Gyro Sand-which with fries. It came out within 10 minutes which was great because I was starving. The sandwich was fresh and delicious!!! The lamb was so perfectly seasoned and tender. Not dry at all. I inhaled my sandwich. This place is great. I noticed a lot of people ordered to go, and came in to get their food. I might do that next time as well. Second time I've ordered from Shawarma King. This time we got the Greek gyro with lamb. Simply outstanding. The flatbread was stuffed beyond all expectations. The meat was moist and flavorful. A perfect balance of sauce to meat. We also ordered a Greek salad, and it was every bit as good as we remembered. For sides we got an order of hummus, smooth, creamy and not "harsh" like the store bought garbage. And for a guy who says he doesn't like stuffed grape leaves, I was forced to eat my words. Honestly, this place serves up darn good food. I'm not an expert on Mediterranean food, but every other spot I've tried serves dried out meats and overly seasoned sides. Hands down better than Fadi's, Halal Guys and Phoenicia. A bit pricey when you add in delivery fees, but the food makes the splurge worthwhile. read more
