Great little diner. This was recommended to us by a local at the Aquarium. We enjoyed the breakfast. The portions are hefty and food delicious. The sausage gravy is the real deal. I have Celiac Disease and have to avoid gluten. I asked if my eggs could be cooked in a pan and not on the grill because the waitress told me they cook pancakes on the same grill (which is typical at places like this) and makes the chances for cross contamination with gluten very high. The waitress was very sweet and said she see would go ask. I watched her ask this woman at the register that clearly didn't care nor liked many people I saw her interact with. She gave a snotty look and said "No, we can't accommodate that" like she was being asked to cut her right arm off! So the sweet waitress seemed disappointed and came back and told me no. I could tell she wasn't too thrilled about the response either. After thinking about what I should do, she came back and I asked if there was anyway she could please just ask them to clean off the spot where they would cook my eggs. (I really didn't want to have to leave or sit there and watch my daughter eat). She said, "your order will go to the small kitchen(due to where we were seated) so it should be fine. ". I didn't bother asking about the grits or potatoes because it was a lost cause at the point. When she came back with my 2 eggs and bacon (a pile full of bacon) she said, "If it makes you feel any better, the grill where your eggs were cooked..only eggs are cooked there!" So I did feel better...kinda. And she was so genuine. The eggs and bacon were good. And the waitress was sweet. If I could give the place a -10 for the "woman" that hated life working there I would. I won't go back again just because I don't feel like it's safe for celiac and some of the staff could care less. Note- We mainly went there because there was a positive Google review that someone posted about a shellfish allergy and the business responded back with something positive about helping out people with allergies. 4 Corners is a local favorite. This diner was packed on Saturday morning, so expect a bit of a wait if you come during prime breakfast hours. It was about 25 minutes for a group of 4 at 10:30am. You can expect your standard eggs, sausage, home fries, waffles, pancakes, grits, etc here. Breakfast and lunch is served all day. We can only speak on the breakfast (and chicken tenders), not sure if we would order the other entrees like spaghetti and chicken parm though. read more

Y'all may know of this as an amazing breakfast place but WOW were we blown away by the delicious dinner we had here. The plates and ambiance is modest and kid friendly but the food is really amazing. Shrimp burger is one of my favorite in town, crab cake burger largest I've ever seen, and priced so well that you can just order what individual things you want. You don't have to think about what sides this or that comes with. We got shrimp basket, crab cake burger, shrimp burger, grits, clam chowder and collared greens finished with a strawberry milkshake. It was great being able to just order anything and it all worked out for my husband and 3 year old daughter, good portions and variety. Great service and super kid friendly. I love how this place has those random trinkets hidden that only kids see and it just gives them something special. read more

He went up to pay the check and she ripped the receipt out of his hands and just seemed to have a bad attitude. No smile on her face. This bustling eatery is a great place for traditional American breakfast or lunch. Literally built around a train car it is a local favorite. We were lucky and were seated quickly, but by the time we left there was a long line. Ample parking, btw. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Despite our taking a bit too long making up our mind (three were foreigners, less familiar with the choices) there was no pressure. The food came quickly and was really good. My wife and daughter and I used to go there on a regular basis a few years ago but it has been more infrequent in the past few years but have always been very impressed with the Four Corners Diner because the owner would specifically come to our table and greet my daughter who has Down syndrome by name! He would remember it from year to year and my daughter Delights greatly in people talking to her! Came here because of all the great reviews this place received and it was the closest to us. The parking lot is spacious, but the layout is a bit... odd. Upon entering, I immediately went to wash my hands. The bathrooms were very clean, well stocked, and smelled nice. I joined my group and met our waiter. I have got to say that the service here is amazing (or I got lucky). David, our waiter, was the best part of my group's experience. He was very engaging, extremely helpful, and pretty funny. He managed to CALM a fussy 3yr old. Yes, that deserved its own paragraph. The parents reading this will know how wonderful that is while out dining. The menu is what you would expect of most diners, but with a little more seafoods, as we are on the coast. Our food was served quickly and accurately, which is important as we had a group of 7. Although my people didn't fully enjoy their meal itself, mine was pretty good. I had some of the juiciest chicken fingers, a default side of mashed potatoes wit gravy, and some very unseasoned collard greens. I had to add a lot of salt and hot sauce just to put some flavor to it. Two in my party ordered the fish and chips said that the fish taste like it was the fishsticks you get from the supermarket. We also share a basket of hushpuppies. Although cooked a little hard, they were pretty good. We later learned that they also served bellinis, mimosas, and milkshakes. We would have indulged, but had a long ride ahead of us. I'm stuck between giving it 3 or 4 stars because the food, overall, is mediocre, but the services was phenomenal. read more

Decided to try this diner for breakfast. Friend of mine lives in the area now and strongly recommended it. There was a short wait (due to COVID social distancing guidelines and 50% capacity). However, the staff was really friendly and helpful. Looking at the menu, I decided to try the Meatlovers omelet. It was quite large and DELICIOUS! The amount of food that was given was very filling. The place was busy and I think they were a bit understaffed, but our server was great and apologized about anything that took slightly longer. My husband and I each had an omelette. I got the vegetable omelette and potatoes as a side. I thought the omelette was decent but a little underdone. The potatoes were very good. My husband got a cheese omelette and grits and toast as a side. The cheese options are limited - it seemed like cheddar was the only option. We both had that in our omelettes which was fine but would be nice to have other options. His grits were great. The menu was pretty expansive and it seems like people come here for other meals as well. There's a lot of lunch options and dinner options as well. I don't think I personally would try it for anything besides breakfast, but I'll be back to try something else for breakfast soon! read more

Vacationing here for the week and had eaten at 4 Corners on a previous visit so tried it again. Employees were friendly and service was good but food was disappointing. I got the vegetable omelet with home fries and biscuit. The omelet was paper thin, the vegetables were totally raw (mushrooms were out of a can) and some of the cheese wasn't even completely melted. The "home fries" were small frozen potato cubes that had been fried and were not worth eating. The biscuit had a weird texture and was hard to cut in half and pull apart to spread butter on -- oh wait, there was no butter, only margarine. My husband got pancakes and they were ok, but kind of spongy. I don't think we'll be going back. read more
