We wanted to break out of our Danbury dinner rut and try some place new so based on Yelp recommendations, we headed to 4 Seasons. The place is very nice and service is great. To start, I had some fried oysters which were very good and my husband had some tuna which he liked. His salmon entree was really good. I ordered the paella and it came loaded. It was a huge portion so you can expect to take some home. The paella was fine but it's cooked in one pan and then served on a plate. That's okay but I like it when the paella is served in a pan with the crispy rice on the bottom. This might be a different style as the restaurant is Mediterranean, not South American, but I think when it's served in the pan and some of the rice is a little burnt it gives it a more robust flavor. Definitely will go back and try something else. If you're having a special occasion, this seems to be a place to go as it seemed a lot of people were celebrating stuff when we were there.

Food quality / price ( value) rating 9.5. The atmosphere is classic Italian, white tablecloths with Mediterranean accents and Italian music. We've been here five or six times and it has been consistently good. The menu is a Mediterranean mix and includes widely varied daily specials, including fresh fish on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Before oyr meal, we were served a wonderful house baked bread with butter and oil on the side - a rare treat not found at most restaurants anymore. We started by splitting a Roquefort Salad appetizer that was excellent. For an entree, I had the Chicken Balsamic with hot peppers that included baked mashed potato and green beans with a rich dark brown gravy. Excellent ! The wife had the Rigatoni Marbella with perfectly cooked Papadella (by special request) that had a delicious and unique flavor. Both the house Pinot Grigio and house Cabernet were very good. We concluded our experience by splitting a "Zabione" dessert, a table-side cooking show where egg and Marsala wine are whipped over a flame, and then poured over fresh berries. The service was excellent, and the owner, Pepe (always in attendance), was the ultimate host. Great date place, for sure!

A friend recommended trying out this place and I am so glad that she did! Food, drinks, and service were all amazing. I especially loved the homemade pappardelle bolognese and cannolis. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. I already have plans to return soon with family that I know will also love the food and appreciate the ambiance of the place. Overall HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Anniversary dinner. Went on a Wednesday evening. Loved the ambience and staff very polite and friendly. Service was a little slow but that's ok because we were not in a rush. Hubby had French onion soup but didn't enjoy it. I had the eggplant rozini. I'm not familiar with that dish so didn't expect the marinara sauce. Was hoping for more of a salad than a hot app. First bite was good but then got hints of freezer taste so not sure the eggplant was made fresh to order. For main hubby had the rigatoni bolognese which he enjoyed. I had the branzino special which was very good. The best part of the meal was dessert. Delicious crème brûlée and tiramisu. I'll try the place again and next time get pasta which I hear is homemade.

Not worth it. Stale bread, sand in scallops, small portions. Strange dining room, strip mall restaurant.

The two times I've been in, they've brought out samples of thier menu items to try. I've ordered various things on the menu: hummus, lebneh, falafel wraps, falafel platters, baked kibbe platters, the green bean side, etc. All have been amongst the best Lebanese food I've tried. I want to expand and try more things, like the chicken and beef kafta. If you have questions just ask. Certain platters come with different items. Some rice, some salad, etc. Thier pita is fresh and delicious, and comes in different sizes. They have a decent sized dining area for dine-in, and the take-out area is right as you walk in the side door. Here you will also find a grocery area with Lebanese essentials. The selection is sizable, and offers items you won't find in a regular grocery store. I stocked up on spices, and coffee. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. I will return every opportunity I get.

If you think you've had great Greek food in Connecticut, go to The Greek in Bethel and recalibrate…read moreyour expectations. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The restaurant is spotless. Not just tidy -- immaculate. The kind of clean that tells you the kitchen runs with discipline and pride. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the family who runs it greets you with genuine hospitality. You can see it in their faces. This is not just a business. This is their culture, their heritage, and their reputation on every plate. Now the food. I ordered the lamb gyro platter, and it was exactly what authentic Greek comfort food should be. The lamb was deeply savory, beautifully seasoned, and sliced generously. Tender, flavorful, and aromatic without being greasy or heavy. Every bite tasted balanced and intentional. This wasn't fast-casual gyro. This was traditional, done right. My wife had the Greek chicken Caesar, and it was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned with that unmistakable Mediterranean brightness. The greens were crisp, the flavors bold but clean. It felt fresh, not weighed down. We shared the falafel appetizer, and it disappeared quickly. Crisp golden exterior, tender and herbaceous inside, properly seasoned with real depth. Not dry. Not bland. Exactly how falafel should taste. Then came dessert. The rice pudding was creamy and comforting, subtly sweet, and clearly house-made. But the orange cake stole the night. Thin, delicate layers of phyllo soaked with honey and bright orange. Simple ingredients, flawless execution. It was light yet rich with citrus aroma, sweet but not overpowering. The kind of dessert that makes you pause mid-bite because it is that good. You do not rush this cake. You savor it. What truly sets The Greek apart is the authenticity of their ingredients. They import nearly everything from Greece -- herbs, spices, oils, vinegars. You can taste the difference immediately. The oregano has more fragrance. The olive oil has more character. The flavors are vibrant, alive, unmistakably Greek. This is not imitation. This is the real thing. And the pride shows. The family running the restaurant clearly cares about every detail, from food quality to customer service. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciative of their guests. It feels personal. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we would order next time. If you are anywhere near Bethel and you love authentic Mediterranean food, do not hesitate. Go to The Greek. Bring an appetite. Order dessert. And prepare to find what is easily the best Greek food in the area. We will absolutely be back.

Besides from that, I do like the hanging lights, and the staff friendliness. However I would definitely recommend working more on the speed of servers than friendliness, I was waiting for someone to take my order for almost half hour!! The outside of the restaurant is also uninviting, it looks almost abandoned when the lights are dimmed, respectfully: the parking lot is filled with potholes, and there's barely any parking. Recommendation: As a professional business reviewer, I would recommend working on how you make cosmopolitans and start serving more interesting drinks, perhaps create your own drink, get those potholes fixed, expand your parking, and add decorations outside. It was served in an iron skillet, nice presentation but much smaller than we thought it should be for 2. It had no moisture at all, the rice and chorizo sausage with chicken bits and shrimp. The shrimp was very disappointing just rubbery and dry. This place has a 4.7 star rating and a great looking Menu. Maybe it's a Ridgefield Connecticut thing to go there for an enjoyable atmosphere.
