She kept making the white tip UNEVEN and really thick.I kept asking her to fix it and the white tip didn't connect to the end. She cut my skin with the file more than once and I told her to be careful otherwise she would have cut me again. She was not filing carefully and my fingers were red and painful. If I could dispute the charge I would! The nail polish looked old and crusty and I didn't get to pick the shade for my base or white tip. Also where you place your hands was really dusty with nail particles that the salon doesn't stay on top of cleaning before you put your hands down- basically touching other peoples nail particles from filing. Service has gone down hill. They do accept walk-ins. I tried 3 attempts with them . They invite me to pick a color and tell me to wait 5 minutes and it turned into 15 minutes. I had to leave and go to work. 2nd attempt I come in at 635pm and one of the ladies told me that they are closed and she ready to go home. But the door was still open and they close at 7pm. They should of closed the door or lock up. Came in next day and was told to pick out color and to have a seat out front . Been coming here every 2 weeks for 6 months. At first it was good then it seemed to be a hit or miss with them. The lady that did my pedi was so lazy. She forgot she only cut my cuticles on one foot, so I had to tell her you didn't do this foot. At one point when she was buffing my nails she literally was buffing my toes not even touching my nails just buffing my skin. Not only that but she didn't even buff every nail. Paid 40 bucks for a shellac manicure to start coming off the next day. I got a color that had glitter over it and you can see all of the black base around the edges. The woman doing my nails wasn't even looking at my nails while she was painting them. I don't work hard to spend money on crappy service and quality. We had a really bad experience today(Mothers Day) using a Christmas Gift card. The Manager/owner said the gift card wasn't signed right and the $100.00 wasn't her writing. My wife was totally embarrassed and they wouldn't honor the gift certificate until we showed our bank Statement. I've been going here pretty much since it opened and the vast majority of the time, my manicures are well done (usually gel) and last 3-4 week's easy with no cracking, peeling, chips. It's usually done quickly, no trouble. I enjoy the beverage they provide and I enjoy socializing with other patrons. I often go with friends and rarely do we have a long wait, if any wait at all. I never make an appointment-I just don't have that kind of schedule and I've always been accommodated. I don't mind not having the same technician so I'm willing to be flexible for the walk-in privilege. It's by far not the cheapest place I've ever been but their fees are posted on the wall directly behind you if you are at the front counter and they have fee sheets (along with package offerings) at each station. Communicating can be a challenge, but I so admire the Vietnamese staff! They have moved to a new to them country and work hard for their money. Be patient and be prepared to explain if you want something different. I've learned about natural medicine, cooking, immigration and more from the nicest people. They are frequently quiet if you do not reach out to visit with them. I did not give them 5 stars for a couple reasons. Item number one is that they prefer cash-and since I usually do everything via Debit Card, that sometimes is a frustration because they want me to pay ATM fees so they get cash and don't have to pay credit card fees. I don't like that. I always try and remember to get the cash I need but sometimes... and item number two is their practice of always asking about waxing. I'm sure they are instructed to solicit alternate profit streams but it's every single time I'm in there and it can get tedious (especially since waxing is not an option for me!). read more

We both got shellac and it ended up being over $100 and when I asked why she couldn't give me a straight answer. I've been going here for a year now. Today was my last time. I received the worst manicure of my life. The nail lamp used for my gel manicure was coated in so much used built up product inside and out and I complained & they did not seem to care at all. Occasionally I'd get a few good techs but they're so few and far between that it's not worth coming unless you schedule an appointment with someone who's good at what they do. This place was my first acrylic overlay set and today, I spent almost 45 minutes removing layers of their shitty fills. (After waiting an hour) I've asked multiple salons and people who've had their acrylic nails removed what the normal process for removing acrylic nails is. And EVERY SINGLE PERSON has said "soak with acetone" not only did this tech not do this but she VENGEFULLY pulled my acrylic from my nails before deciding to soak, (thanks Annie - enjoy your $10 tip and unemployment). My nails are in so much pain I can hardly use my hands, and I'm thoroughly pissed. And before you say "maybe you didn't tip enough..." I tip plenty and each time they look surprised. I've been frequenting this salon since I was 16, almost five years. The customer service used to be mediocre, and the nails I got were fair for the price. Not perfect, but never terrible. Unfortunately, the overall quality has disintegrated over the years. Terrible customer service and even worse finished products. I just had my regular shellac manicure done here three days ago- the woman was rough with my hands, the polish looks awful, and she tried to keep my personal file, which I brought with me. All in all, this place will do in a pinch if you REALLY need your nails done at a cheap price. But if you have the time and money, avoid this salon at all costs. Included are pictures of how the shellac is done poorly towards my cuticles, has already chipped on the tips of my nails, and my cuticles are irritated. I needed my nails done for my engagement pictures and wasn't sure what look to do, and was really nervous about them turning out. It was easily the best manicure I've ever had--Taylor was meticulous and super helpful. I got a dip manicure and shellac pedicure on Tuesday April 30th. First of all, they were pushy at getting me in the chair for my pedicure while I was still trying to decide on a color. Then they didn't even scrub my feet like at all (that's part of the reason I get pedicures is to get the dry skin off my feet). I finish with my pedicure and get sat down for my fingers. It was another rush job. Two days later the top coat on my dip is chipping. I go back on Saturday and the lady at the counter was so rude. She acted like I was lying that I had just gotten them done. She redoes the top coat for me. And here I am a week later and it's chipping and peeling. My nails look terrible. I spent good money to get my nails done, not for them to look crappy. I normally don't go to this salon but was in the area and only had a short amount of time available to get them done so thought I would give them a try. NEVER NEVER NEVER will I go back. I will drive the extra distance or make the time when necessary to go to Nail Garden at Cascade Station. They do a fantastic job there and my dip lasts me 4-5 weeks. We made an appointment for three people the same day, for several hours later. we all got our nails done at different times despite the appointment. I've been coming to the salon for years and lately the service has gone down hill. They rush everything even when there's nobody in the salon. My very last visit I asked for help finding a color and the owner was sitting behind the counter on her phone ignored me the first time and then said all of the colors are on the counter so look and went back to watching a video loudly on her phone. I've been told on multiple occasions that they only take cash and I need to take money out from the ATM and that she will pay me back the ATM fee. Which is a lie they have a card reader.
