I booked a blowout with Emily for 4:30. Around mid-day she let me know she had a cancellation and was able to see me sooner. I moseyed on over to the salon around 3:30 and was welcomed by the team at the salon. Emily came out to greet me and we were off to the races! I have 24" hand-tied extensions so I was used to folks taking an hour and a half when it came to a blowout and curling my luscious locks. Emily went to work and I was done within an hour and it looked *so* good. Little did I know my $50 blowout would also come with a comedy hour. We laughed the entire session and let me tell you, I'm an awkward introvert but Emily is such a welcoming presence, I felt comfortable sharing my dark sense of humor from the get-go. I also wanted to pay with card and the older lady made me use their machine to get cash and I was charged several fees from my bank and the machine- never again. She cut my skin with the file more than once and I told her to be careful otherwise she would have cut me again. She was not filing carefully and my fingers were red and painful. If I could dispute the charge I would! The nail polish looked old and crusty and I didn't get to pick the shade for my base or white tip. Also where you place your hands was really dusty with nail particles that the salon doesn't stay on top of cleaning before you put your hands down- basically touching other peoples nail particles from filing. ( The older lady was the nail tech)
