Was sent there by a different nail salon, saying that they would have an open spot for me after arriving she told me she didn't have a space for me and then opened a space for me after I said no thank you she then proceeded to do my nails but put something on that I didn't ask for and then when I told her I wanted to have my nails medium she told me they would charge me extra money to make it anything above short nails. I just provided in the picture lasted four days before they started melting off because she used a different product. I will never go back here. read more

People are nice and space is clean, but I was super bummed with how a couple nails looked after my manicure. Went in over my lunch hour, and didn't have time to go back and ask for a fix after noticing the issues (see pictures). Nothing is the same since Covid and I understand that things change but always understaffed and the owner tends to be distracted (on the phone) and easily irritated. This was my go-to pre-pandemic and they've only improved since my last visit (almost 3 years ago!). Staff and almost all patrons were masked (lookin at you lady who walked in without a mask and asked for a brow wax! You want someone up in your face and aren't going to protect them?!), protective shields at every station, and a really nice, fresh new look to the place since I was last in. They have always done solid, quality work and that hasn't changed. My pedicure was very relaxing and looks fantastic! I always try to call ahead to find out a good time to come by -- drop ins are welcome, but often not able to be accommodated in the moment. Calling a couple hours ahead works great for me! Save yourself the time and pain of bloody cuticles and toes. My appointment was at 1pm and they started at 1:40pm. Okay, fine, that's kind of typical of many nail places. I woke up today and my big toe was throbbing. Upon closer inspection, I see that she cut my nail to the point of possible infection. Also, notice the extra polish around my cuticles? Yes, that's on 7 out of 10 toes. I had a friend with me that took off her polish as soon as she got home because of all of the extra 'cuticle' polish left uncorrected. I also got waxed and my face has scabs and raw spots where she waxed. Just stay away. read more

I was recommended to come to this spa because of their service. I might have to do an update on this IF* I decide to return. For those of you who've been doing pedicures for a while and has found a really good one, this one is a rough start to be honest. Parking: is on the roof, $5. Or best bet to find street parking ;) Service: I felt was rushed. My pedicure wasn't even a pedicure. They cut, filed, and painted. Where was the cleaning? They pushed back the cuticle and didn't even remove it. Painting wise, it was like she was in a hurry. Oh- they also charge you for the little pack that they end up giving you to "bring back". It comes with a nail filer, pumice rock, and a nail definer. My manicure was no different. It's like the skipped the entire "cleaning" part of a mani pedi. Super disappointed. I wouldn't have even gone in, but the lifted gel kept getting caught in my hair. She basically told me I was imagining the lifting. Then she preceded to talk shit about me to another customer. Ok so I'm from out of town, I first found this place on yelp then got recommended here by a local. Upon entering Tina was very welcoming and the place looked very clean. I was a walk in on Mother's Day but I got sat down right away. Tina did my gel manicure and I love it. She took her time and listened to my picky concerns beforehand. She got it right and my massage was amazing. She then did my pedicure, I got the hot stone pedicure and it was a treat! The warmth of the stones, & the wax was very relaxing topped off with one of the best pedi massages ever! My pedicure was done well and my polish was precise. The pedi chairs are amazing all on their own, super wide and comfy. I was also offered a mimosa or water. Oh I really liked that I got my nails done at a bar, literal nail bar with bar stool chairs that were comfy. Everyone else working looks like they are doing a good job. I'll be back here when in Portland. Ok one thing I didn't like was that Tina left me during my pedi with the hot wax on to tend to another pedi. I'm chilling because this massage chair is amazing & I have the time today. But if I was in a hurry this wouldn't work for me. And for a $60 pedi this was not expected. Oh you have to buy your own $2 nail kit that comes with 3 different files in it. Amazing pedicure!!! They are about $5 more than other places for a basic pedicure but it's well worth it! The basic pedicure included a sea salt scrub and paraffin wax treatment. I had Tina and she was excellent! It also felt very safe! Everyone was wearing a mask and there were plastic shields/dividers between the customer and nail technician. As my girlfriend and I are sitting here enjoying our deluxe pedicure's, I'm thinking, We have no reason to return to the last place we frequented. The staff is very attentive and they very much want you to have a wonderful visit. The owner definitely takes pride in the overall appearance of the business. While the pleasant staff takes care of you the owner is cleaning the shop from the top on down - it's spotless. The foot massage is wonderful along with everything else. My fill was rushed and I was pushed aside for a walk in. Literally mid way through my appointment, even though I'd been making 1pm appointments, every two weeks religiously. I was never late and I never flaked. Tina rushed through my fill and then had me wait 20min for polish, while she started on the walk-ins set. Finally she pulls my colors (which wasn't even the color I wanted and she literally said "eh close enough") and then starts, but mid way through, yells for someone else to finish painting my nails, so she can go back to the walk-ins nails. The other person comes over and starts painting so hard she's stripping the previous layer away. When I say something, there's a ton of huffing and wiping away and then she tries to paint more over the already chunky remains. I'm sitting there like, what is happening?? So Tina come back over to "fix" it and just puts more coats over existing polish, so now it's even more chunky and uneven. Why?? Why was I brushed off and pushed aside? Because you'd only get $45+$10 tip for a fill? Vs. this walk-ins new set? Who might not even come back again? I literally have been paying $110 a month to come here and I get brushed off? My nails are the only thing I really do for myself anymore and they look awful. I mean Jesus, one part of my nail doesn't even have fiberglass over it??? I am honestly just incredibly upset. I've gone to to Hollywood Nails and Spa twice. The first time I went there, Tina did my nail with dip powder ombre blue and white, and she also designed my nails. So amazing work Then I came back to her salon before weeding to do new nails design. She did a perfect job as always. My nails were designed with pink and white dip powder with crystals. I came in with no appointment, Tina worked me into her schedule with minimal delay, I asked for exactly what I got, and even though it took an hour, it was well worth every single second!!!
