Had lunch at Wolf by Vanderpump at Caesars Republic Scottsdale and came away really impressed. It's one of those places where you can tell a lot of thought went into the entire experience, not just the food. Our waiter was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, and the drinks were excellent. The ambiance is fantastic, with the whole wolf motif carried throughout the design and those incredible views toward Camelback Mountain. The combination of the dramatic interior, the desert setting and the view really works. We ordered a selection of appetizers and wraps, and everything was nicely done and well presented. Nothing felt like an afterthought. What I really liked is that Wolf works whether you're there with two people for a lunch or drinks, or with a larger group of six or more. There's enough going on around you to make it feel like an experience without sacrificing the actual dining. The team has clearly thought about the whole package: food, cocktails, service, design, views and atmosphere. It feels cohesive rather than like a restaurant that simply happens to have a nice view. Don't need to write much if a review: Just go! But the place deserves a review. I went because they are open a little later than most and, perhaps just as importantly, they have a Vesper on the menu. It was so good. The drink itself tastes like love, so it is different every time. This time, it tasted like meeting that girl on the beach in Ibiza. We had the cheese balls and pull apart bread. So good! I had the brisket bolognese. It was like some Italian chef visited Texas and could never get the BBQ off his mind afterwards. The ambience is just magnificent. You should enjoy it for yourself. Go have drinks if nothing else. How many kinds of chandeliers did they have? Have you ever seen chandeliers that spin? Have you seen that after a couple of martinis? Whether you're planning a ladies' breakfast or brunch, a special event, or a romantic meal for two, the atmosphere makes it a wonderful choice. A must-try is the Tuna Tartare Tostadas--an incredible way to start the meal! For the main course, we took the hotel staff's recommendation and went with the Wolf Burger, and I highly suggest adding a little heat by asking about the seasonal hot pepper available. But one of the highlights of our visit was actually at the bar. I have to give major praise to the bartender for encouraging us to take a few chances with some of their more adventurous drinks. That willingness to introduce us to something different turned into one of the delights of our visit and absolutely deserves a mention. Made a reservation and walked over from a local hotel, Wolf is located inside the Caesar's Republic Hilton, just a short walk from the north entrance of Macy's at Fashion Sq The restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside, lots of tables with views of the mountain to the north and the pool area. Tables are well spread out, interior is dark (at night) full of custom unique chandeliers; some that rotate slowly. Dimly lit, but very trendy and although no formal dress code, definitely a place that makes you want to dress up for. Food selection is small, varied and prices are reasonable. Portions are small in a good way, plenty of drink options from the huge bar. Service was great, little slow at the start to make an orde but perfect from there on. I really wanted to love this place because the ambiance is fantastic. The decor is beautiful, the energy is fun, and it's a great spot for cocktails, date night, or meeting up with friends. If you're looking for a great vibe and a picture-worthy restaurant, this is it. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the price tag. There were four of us, and our bill was just under $800. At that level, I expect attention to detail. I ordered a bottle of champagne, yet I ended up refilling my own glass most of the night because it was rarely topped off. After our appetizers, we had to flag someone down to clear our table and bring fresh plates and utensils before our next course. The biggest miss was my entrée. I ordered my steak on the side, cooked medium rare. It was forgotten entirely, and when it finally arrived, it was well done. The manager apologized, had a new one made, and removed it from the bill, which I appreciated. Mistakes happen, but there were just too many for a restaurant at this price point. Would I come back? Wolf is on the 7th floor of the hotel and was visually a cool spot. The decor certainly felt a bit upscale but the dress code was all over the place from what I saw. The food was pretty good though some of my truffle fries were really oily as in dripping oil when you bit into them. But, the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering and the fries were crispy. The Wolf Burger had juicy patties and the melted havarti cheese definitely added to the flavor. I just don't think it wowed me to want to go back for it. I did enjoy my Desert Wolf shot. My friends enjoyed their drinks too: Sheep's Clothing which just looked visually stunning and their Cowboy Up. If you're an old fashioned kind of person, she enjoyed hers. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. But, the music was so loud sitting near the deejay that we could barely hear each other. While I'm a fan of Lisa Vanderpump and was excited to try this place out, I honestly had bit of low expectation due to some reviews not having a good experience coupled up with the fact that it's a celebrity owned place. Steak was actually very good quality; however -- they don't know how to cook it like a true high quality steak house would so don't expect any of that there. The bolognese was interesting, but ultimately wasn't a fan of it. I don't like brisket in bolognese type of thing; although it seemed to be a hit with some of the other girls. Wolf is beautiful, it's very chic with fantastic views. A group of us sat at one of the large round tables with a rotating chandelier. It's was a very comfortable corner. Service was great and all of our food and beverages were delicious! For our appetizers we ordered the goat cheese-cheese balls, the tuna tartare tostada and the lump crab corn hush puppies. My wife and I came to Wolf for birthday celebrations and this restaurant is special! The interior decor is very charming and intimate, and the vibes here are awesome. They had a live DJ on Saturday night to create a nice dinner atmosphere. Our favorite highlights were the Wagyu sliders and Chilean seabass along with all of the signature cocktails. One important thing about this place is that you'll definitely need a reservation during the weekend given its popularity so be sure to book atleast 1-2 weeks in advance if you want a good time. We made reservations to celebrate our anniversary on a Saturday night. We were greeted by the 3 or 4 hostesses at the hostess stand who were all very sweet and full of smiles. We arrived about 30 minutes early to grab a drink so went to the bar. Unfortunately half of the restaurant was closed off for a private event which meant the 2nd bar was closed off as well. Sadly no seats at the bar but 2 seats they said were reserved. By the way, we noticed they were still reserved and empty when we walked out two hours later so that was a little disappointing. We went back to the hostess stand who were able to seat us right away. My first dining experience at Wolf was quite an evening. Everyone in the restaurant was dressed to kill. Glamours, stunning, excited to be there. This evening felt off like everyone was just coming off the golf course. Super casual for such a beautiful restaurant. There were actually two men at the bar wearing swim trunks. IMHO, the restaurant is just so beautiful, I was surprised at how casual most people dressed. I didn't catch our servers name but she was nice and attentive. For drinks we ordered two dirty martinis. They were served correctly and ice cold. For our appetizer, we ordered the HEIRLOOM BEETS $16. Heirloom & Striped Beets, Pistachios, Lemon & Herb Pesto, Baby Arugula, Burrata. This was refreshing and delicious. Large enough for your people to share. For dinner, I ordered the 6oz PRIME FILET MIGNON. $59. Cognac Butter, Parsnip Purée, Seasonal Vegetables, Cabernet Demi Glace, Roasted Red Onion Petals, Potatoes Anna. This was delicious. Filet cooked perfect medium. We celebrated my birthday dinner at Vanderpump's Wolf with a group of friends, such a fun night! It was our whole group's first time visiting. We arrived about 45 minutes early to grab a drink at the hotel rooftop bar. They had a live band and the views of Camelback were stunning. We were there just before sunset, and the sky turned the prettiest shades of pink, such a perfect start to the evening. When we headed down for our reservation, we were seated right away. The decor immediately stood out. Antler chandeliers mixed with furs and crystals, oversized chairs, and wolf statues created this unique blend of elegance and rustic charm. The whole space feels like a rustic bougie dream. The bar itself is incredibly long and cool. Our group sat at a great round table with a mix of booth seating and chairs, which made it feel social and comfortable. We staged with cocktails, and they were just as fun as they were delicious. The Pumped Up Kicks espresso martini came with a wolf chocolate and a donut hole. The Petter Rabbit garden margarita was another standout, complete with the tiniest carrot I have ever seen, so cute! For appetizers, we ordered the lump crab and corn hush puppies, the famous goat cheese balls, and the tuna tartare tostadas. Everything was excellent, but the tuna tartare tostadas were my favorite. They were incredibly fresh and the poke sauce really good. The goat cheese balls and hush puppies were such a hit with the group that we ended up ordering another round of each for the table. For my entrée, I had the butter seared Chilean seabass, which was cooked perfectly. It came with cherry tomatoes, lemon, olives, and capers, along with light vegetables and potatoes that balanced the dish really well. Others at the table ordered the brisket and tri tip bolognese, the 6oz prime filet mignon with roasted red onion petals and potatoes Anna, and the tricolore risotto. Everyone enjoyed their meals overall, although the risotto was surprisingly very spicy, which caught us off guard. We also added a side of truffle fries, which were definitely worth it. For dessert, we shared the house made chocolate brownie, a perfect sweet ending to the meal. They brought it with a candle to sing Happy Birthday. I was fully prepared to be disappointed in all of the food after reading the reviews but I ended up being pleasantly surprised! We had to get the famous goat cheese balls with hatch chile and hot honey of course. These were pretty good! Not sure what makes them famous but I liked the creamy mix of goat cheese with the spicy hot honey. We paired these with the tuna tartare tostadas which were so unexpectedly delicious and fresh for being in Scottsdale! Would absolutely get these again. We also shared the Caesar salad. This was good but I didn't love the whole anchovies. Service was excellent. We let the waitress know we were in a bit of a hurry and she got us our food, drinks, and the bill in under 40 minutes. Amazing! Honestly, it was pretty expensive so I can see being underwhelmed if you got some of the mains but I think it's a great spot for happy hour or just drinks and light bites. This place is an absolutely incredible experience! The restaurants is within Caesars, and the decor, design, and ambiance to this place is extremely unique, elegant, and enjoyable. Staff here seems to be very knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly and helpful in providing menu suggestions when guests are unsure of what to order, and they take wonderful care of their guests. We were frequently checked on, water and drink refills were never too long, and they did a wonderful job of helping to celebrate my wife's birthday. For an appetizer we ordered their bread service. The bread came with two different flavored butters that could be enjoyed, both of which were fantastic. It also had some crispy, melted cheese that added a great crunch and flavor above and beyond what would've been expected. For dinner, I had their Wolf Burger, which came with 8oz of wagyu beef (2 patties), onions, and their delicious house aioli. While looking at different restaurants, I discovered I was going to be in a city where Lisa Vanderpump had a restaurant and I could get goat cheese balls! Clearly we had to go there! The restaurant is on the seventh floor of the Caesars Republic Hilton Hotel in Scottsdale. We had a reservation and were greeted at the hostess stand right at the entrance to the restaurant. We were seated in a cozy corner and it was nice because there was so much to look at! I would have taken more photos but didn't want to disturb other diners. We arrived early, so they told us we could go to the bar or go upstairs to the Camelback Veranda for a drink on the rooftop. It had a darker, more mysterious vibe with lots of wolf sculptures and pictures. Some of the chairs looked like thrones. The entire restaurant had a great view of the mountains. They even opened some of the windows as the sun was setting - such a great photo op! I really wanted to try the popular Pump-tini, but I was driving us. Maybe next time. We did get the famous goat cheese balls that Stassi was so obsessed with in the show. Honestly, it did not meet the hype for me - it was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them. Another beautiful restaurant concept by the Lisa Vanderpump. This is her first restaurant in Arizona and the vibes totally match her normal aesthetic. It's a bit hard to find within the Caesars Republic, you have to go past the desk & to the elevators and down a hallway. Once there. i was in love with the natural sunlight & gorgeous views. The menu features various small plates like the famous goat cheese balls & larger plates. I opted for sharing a few of apps paired with some Vanderpump rosé. I didn't like the bread as much as I thought I would, the black lava butter was far too salty & it tasted a bit over cooked. The tuna tostadas were my favorite, very tasty. For our daughter's birthday celebration we wanted good food and excellent service, we got just that what an amazing experience! First our waiter Barret D was beyond outstanding!! I am a Vanderpump Rules fan, the real reason we picked it, and loved his knowledge of not only the restaurant but the show! We started with the Signature Wolf Bread that was fantastic, next we had the Famous Goat Cheese Balls and one of their mocktails, Berry S***. For our meals we tried the Beurre Blanc Salmon, Colossal Shrimp Tacos and the Brisket & Tri-Tip Bolognese. I must say out of all three dishes the Brisket & Tri-Tip Bolognese was outstanding, melt in your mouth delicious! Now, let's get to the couple of items that might be a deal breaker for some, they charge an additional 3.5% Venue Admin Fee on your final bill, I did not ask what it was for but for sure not a fan. Secondly, most tables are outstanding and comfortable, however, as I pointed out in my photos a few tables have stools as chairs and sitting in them for an entire dinner service would be an issue for me and my husband so if your the same, and making reservations, you may want to mention you do not want these tables. I was invited to Wolf for a birthday meet up for drinks and appetizers. It was a Thursday night during Waste Management Week, so it was definitely crowded and busy. There was no available parking when I arrived at 8:30pm so I had to use the fashion square parking lot and walk over. We were a party of 9, and were seated on the patio which was the pool area furniture that wasn't comparable to the seating and decorations in the establishment, which was disappointing. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and suggested some great choices for food and drinks. The overall experience was good but not enough to bring me back on my own. read more

I was so excited I could scream to finally try Wolf by Vanderpump! From the second you step off the elevator into that stunning B&W photo-op with Lisa, you know you're in for a treat. OMGGGGG! Lisa really did the damn thing with the decor. Between the "glass snow" chandeliers and the faux fur chairs, I felt like royalty. The attention to detail--down to the Wolf-engraved pillows--is top-notch. Hits: The drinks are incredibly well-balanced (A+ on the mocktails too!). The lobster ceviche tacos were so fresh and crunchy we ordered three more. And the CHURROS... absolute deep-fried perfection. Misses: The goat cheese balls are tasty but tart, so ask for extra marmalade! Unfortunately, the "Wolf Bread" was only lukewarm, and the lobster balls were a huge letdown--cold and fishy. The service was stellar--shout out to Parker (manager) and Laura (server) for being so gracious! Wolf has only been open a couple of months, so I'm giving them some "new kid on the block" grace. Scottsdale is a foodie mecca, so I hope the kitchen tightens up those temps soon. I'll be back to give it another shot! read more

I visited Wolf this past Saturday, Valentine's Day, for a late lunch at 2:45 PM. The only other reservation I saw was for 10 PM, which surprised me since the restaurant was not very busy when we arrived. We made it just on time for our reservation and were told our table was "on hold for 15 minutes," which ended up meaning a brief wait. We were seated around 3 PM. We started with the signature Wolf bread, which was slightly warm, though I would have preferred it hotter. I loved the hot honey butter, although it was more sweet than spicy for me. The whipped lava salt butter was good, with a light, fluffy texture and black salt sprinkled on top. Despite the dark, crusty-looking exterior, the bread was soft inside. I would definitely order this again. Next, we tried the goat cheese balls. I enjoy lemony flavors, and these were very lemon-forward, perhaps a bit too much for me after a few bites. Some extra sauce would have been helpful to balance the flavor. The slaw was fresh, though it lacked the sweetness I expected from pear. I probably would not order this again. For my main course, I had the beurre blanc salmon. The salmon was cooked beautifully, tender and flaky, but I wished the toasted breadcrumbs added more crunch to complement the soft texture. The sauce was light and subtly lemony, and I considered adding some salt to boost the flavor. Overall, it felt like the dish aimed to showcase the natural taste of the fish and vegetables rather than offer bold flavors. While I enjoy salty, robust dishes, I appreciate the subtlety in fish because it allows the flavor to shine, even if it is not a flavor explosion. My husband ordered the Wolf burger and absolutely loved it. Overall, service was great, despite being seated slightly later than our reservation. I enjoyed the meal, though I felt some dishes could have used more flavor or texture but Wolf is a pretty restaurant and offers a nice atmosphere.
