I needed to get a jumper for my little cousins birthday party so I called 408 Jump in San Jose. I got a good deal on the jumpers and everything went great. I have 2 children and have rented from 408Jump over 4 yrs now (when it was still operated by Vince) but I'm not coming back after last rental (it's now operated by Manny). They earned 2 starts for fairly new and clean equipments; however, the management is horrible (they're late, no return phone call) Last rental: Disney Princess Castle jumper house, 2 tables, 20 chairs. Sunday, April 6th 2014. South San Jose. I called Manny 4 weeks prior to make the reservation. 2 days before, I called to reconfirm the reservation (delivery date, equipments, and quantities). 1 day before (Sat), I called again to reconfirm delivery time window, Manny advised all equipments should be delivered by 8:30am Sunday morning. I thought it should be on time for my 11am party. WRONG! 1st call @ 9:05AM Sunday morning. No one show up so I called. Manny immediately picked up the phone. He said he'll call his employees and call me right back. 2nd call @ 9:33AM, he never call back so I left him a voice message. 3rd call @ 9:41AM, I called again but no one pick up. 4th call @ 9:44AM, still no pickup, so I left my final message begging them to call me back even if they are not showing up. At least I have an hour to look for another company. 10AM - still no return call so I began looking for other companies. Right before I call other company, two 408Jump employees showed up (Josh and his female assistant). Jumper was still wet from previous rentals in the rain. Josh tried to wipe the inside floor. However, water is still bubbling along sewing thread lines. It took another hour for the air to dry out. Other than that, the jumper is fairly new and clean. Tables and chairs are fair condition. Note: the rental tables are smaller than normal 6-ft fold-in-half table (72" L x 30" W) you would find at Costco. I didn't measure the rental table but it was approx to 60" x 24", it's suited for 6 chairs (3 on each size). Josh picked up equipments on time around 7pm same day. On all previous rentals, I gave at least 20% service tip to pickup crew depending on their punctuality, equipment cleanliness, and customer service. I did not give out any tip this time due to their tardiness, no return phone call, almost ruin my party. If they had returned my call with an updated delivery window, they would not lose their tip and a loyal customer. read more

408jump came on time, easy setup given i had 2 jumpers, one 4 in 1 and one water slide. The guys were very informative and polite. the waterslide was a hit, the kids absolutely loved it ! Good customer service and would definitely call them back for another event. thank you guys ! read more

This place is great even with last minute orders! I decided to include a water slide in my daughters birthday party last month and called these guys up 3 days prior from the party. They had no problems with the last minute notice and showed up on time at the day of the party. 5 stars read more

Reserved my bounce house for my 6 year old daughter birthday party in Sunnyvale. We went with the Hello Kitty Bounce House. These guys are great. Showed up on time. Setup and take down was easy. Maybe 10 minutes. Highly recommend these guys. I'll be back for more business. Thanks again. read more

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the bouncer we rented. It was VERY dirty inside (and outside) the bouncer....sticky floors and sand/dirt all over. Although we paid $60 for the bouncer instead of $100 (I told them that we charged a $40 cleaning fee...since we had to clean the bouncer ourselves!), the stress of possibly not being able to have a bouncer for our kids' party was NOT worth it. Excellent company and friendly service. I ordered a waterslide for my daughter's birthday and it was a hit. They delivered and picked up on time...no problems at all. These people SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called an booked a slide in about a month in advance they said everything was ready. I called them 3 days before the party cause they didn't have any confirmation and BOOM everything was still on.... Day of party at 8:30am they call saying they no longer rented what we agreed on so i have to settle for less......Almost ruined my whole party... Thank God i found another company to bring me the same exact slide for a WHOLE DAY for almost $100 cheaper please look around before SETTLING with a company like these guys.. read more

Disappointed in this company. Showed up 30min late, even though they said they would show up early. Rented Sumo Suits for fundraiser. They showed up with incomplete suits, the mat was disgusting conditions didn't even use it. If it wasn't for the fact it was a fundraiser and kids were waiting to get into the suits, i would not have used them. After asked to speak with manager, the office boy never let me speak to them. Never got my refund either. Very disappointed. read more

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! They lie, they do not show up on-time, they do not pick up on-time, they lied about refunding me, they ignored my phone calls. I have never had a worse experience dealing with a business. On the day of the birthday party, they were an 1.5 hours late. The only reason they showed up is because I had to call and remind them to drop off the jumper. If that is not bad enough, he actually tried to argue with me and say it was not scheduled (even though I showed him the text conversation with the business providing date, time, location, etc..). Believe it or not, it gets worse. So the gentleman drops off the jumper and asks me when he should pick it up. I tell him between 5 and 5:30. 5:30 pm comes and goes, 6:00 comes and goes, I FINALLY get a call back from the employee who has the nerve to tell me that I am required to stay with the jumper until an employee arrives (This is an hour past the agreed rental time). I asked to speak with a manager and ended up speaking with a man who apologized and offered for a refund. I agreed and provided the manager with my contact information. A week went by and still no word so I called back and spoke with the manager again, who apologized and promised that the check was in the mail. This goes on for weeks. It has now been over a month and a half and I have yet to receive a refund. I have made numerous phone calls regarding this issue and have been given the run around. BEWARE!!! This company was HORRIBLE! We used them for our end of year school picnic. We hired them to come at 7am with 5 bouncy houses, a dunk tank and a popcorn machine. They showed up at the school at 8:15 with 3 bouncy houses and nothing else. We had planned to have 200 hundred kids bouncing at 8am, but this was not to be. It RUINED our entire plans for the 420 kids for the entire morning. The driver proceeded to drive back to San Jose to pick up the rest of our order and arrived back at our school at 10:45am with 2 more bouncy houses, NO dunk tank and a dirty, unusable popcorn machine. We asked them to take down the bouncies at 12:30 as we had students leaving and they did so at 12:45. When we called to renegotiate the pricing (they didn't deliver what we had paid for) the person on the phone called us "unreasonable" (we offered to pay half) and hung up on us. Luckily our credit card company agreed that the service was HORRENDOUS and gave us a refund. Thank goodness. But, seriously...save yourself the headaches and DON"T USE THIS COMPANY!
