I came here on Father's Day. The waiter was very rude to my father. He asked a question then said no we don't have that very aggressively. It was very unnecessary they way you came across your customers. We said we will pay for the drinks and go the hostess told us that we didn't need to pay like coffee and two juices. Thanks. It was an experience with a negative environment.

Came here on a whim with my daughter and her Fiancé being late at night and most restaurants were closing soon! It's a nice diner! I was reading some reviews that the burgers are great here but I ordered a pork medallion dish that was a special that evening instead. All I wanted were sautéed onions in my dish, not the other vegetables which was probably why my plate was loaded with onions! So much in fact you couldn't see the meat, LOL! But, it was very tasty and served over some rice. Not enough room for more with all the onions. I would get it again though, just half the onions next time. The matzah ball soup was delicious! A big bowl with a lot of flavor served with lots of chicken, veggies and a big matzah ball! I also have to mention the bread basket with garlic bread that is brought to your table to start and it was really tasty! Portions are very big, there was plenty left over for dinner the next night! My future SIL ordered the Chicken Parmesean and it was really good (I tasted some) that he finished it all! My daughter ordered the half spring chicken served over an apple stuffing. That was really delicious (I tasted some ) so if I don't order a burger next time, I will be getting the chicken. Dessert was OK, I got the cheesecake and it was fresh and creamy! Overall, food was good as was the service! I will go back again if I'm in the area!

Still a local go-to diner. I ordered delivery today and was so disappointed i felt the urge to update my review. I ordered two identical egg sandwiches and they arrived differently! Different cheese, one had tomato and one didn't... There was a slight "detergent" taste to everything- When ordering on the delivery app you must choose what kind of bread or cheese and they ALL cost extra... Maybe it is a slow weekday at the diner - I hope everyone gets to keep their jobs

    Chicken Noodle Soup?!

What happened to this place? Not sure if there's a new owner but this used to be the best diner on LI, now not so much. I ordered three chicken noodle soups and this is what they sent. Cost 6 bucks a container and not one noodle!?! Last few times I've ordered delivery the order was completely wrong. This last delivery of yellow water is it, time to find a new diner.

3.5 Stars, but rounding up to 4 because of our excellent server, Betty! Give her a much deserved raise! Betty was so pleasant and patient, and very efficient at her job. What a pleasure! This was my first visit to this diner, and we went just before noon on Sunday. The parking lot was only about a third full, so that was a good sign! But as 12:30 approached, that lot was full! What a popular diner! On this occasion, three of us dined; two had breakfast and one had the early dinner special. (Note: the Sunday dinner special is available all day, however, if it's not dinner time, you won't get the dessert that the special comes with). Here are our menu choices: - Beef Brisket ($19.95 Sunday dinner special), comes with a veg and a potato of your choice. (No dessert since it's not dinner time). - Belgium Waffle deluxe ($13.80), comes with a large Belgium Waffle, bacon, sausage, ham and one egg. - Farmer's omelet ($13.95), three egg omelet w.bacon, ham, sausage & cheese and toast). I was told that both the waffle and brisket were pretty good! They were both happy with their choices. I had the omelet and thought it was just ok. The omelet was too well-done, and the potatoes were just unseasoned potatoes (no onion, no seasoning). I added salt n pepper to both but my meal was just kinda flat. I would opt not to order an omelet next time, and maybe stick with basic bacon and eggs. Great service, nice diner. I would give this diner another try.

Disappointed today. Service not what I expected. I did not get my food the way I ordered and wait staff never came to check to see if everything was alright. When I informed him that my home fries were not cooked enough (I requested well done) I was told that they did not make them that way because it takes longer. WTF? I would be happy to wait for food prepared the way I like it. If that was not possible, I would have ordered something else. I sent them back uneaten. It is a shame because I really like potatoes with my eggs.

Reuben sandwich, Eggs Benedict, side of sausage

Solid diner experience and will come back when I'm in the area! My husband and I went to several diners during Thanksgiving weekend and considering the fact that diners normally have larger portions, this one in particular had the largest for sure! The wait staff were nice and accommodating - so much so that we had 4 different wait staff come by our table, which was a little confusing, and we weren't quite sure who our waiter was... Overall, the food was great, though my home fries were unseasoned in my eggs Benedict order. Like not even salt hahaha which I guess is good for those who can't have too much sodium. Will definitely make a visit again in the future

9/16/18 Stopped by here after the Williston Park Street Fair. Pros: large portions, reasonable prices, complementary chickpea salad, coleslaw, and pickles. Nice host Ordered the burger deluxe which was quite tasty, prepared well done as I requested. It came with lettuce, tomato, french fries, and two onion rings. Cons: Undercooked cold french fries, I couldn't find the waitress after she dropped off my dish. I wanted some mustard. I finally asked the busboy who brought some honey mustard dressing. I had to get up and and find the manager who brought some mustard out from a cabinet. Also, dirty bathrooms. Prices are very reasonable

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. We were traveling from out of town and meeting up with an old high school friend and Copperhill was the perfect place. They had a menu full of great selections ... from brunchy items to salads/sandwiches and great healthy selections too. Our server Cat D. also did a fine job of keeping us all very happy, she's a great server. I had the shrimp tacos which were very good. My husband and HS friend had the kale salad with a big piece of salmon on top. We all really enjoyed our meal and had plenty of time to catch up with each other. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with cool art and flowers/plant life. They did a great job with creating a cool vibe inside. It does get a little loud, so if you're looking for a quiet meal, brunch on a Sunday might not be the place. The restaurant gets pretty crowded.. and for a reason. After our most recent experience, we've decided we won't be returning. One waitress in particular has made our last few visits very unpleasant. She consistently has an attitude, is unfriendly, and often comes across as rude. We've also noticed her spending a lot of time on her phone instead of paying attention to customers. During our last two visits, she took our order only to come back afterward and tell us that multiple items we ordered were unavailable with no apology. Our visit today was the final straw. After eating here, my entire family became sick and was up throughout the night with stomach issues. While we can't say for certain what caused it, we all ate at the restaurant and became ill afterward, so be careful. It's disappointing because this is one of our regular family spots and we genuinely enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, the decline in both service and our most recent experience with the food has made us decide it's time to find another regular restaurant.

I was alone and despite being semi-crowded, there wasn't a wait. This place definitely gives a hole in the wall vibe and that's what I wanted. I expected the chicken and cheese to be cooked into the omelette - it was actually an egg omelette with the chicken and cheese folded inside. No complaints though; when I had enough eggs, I was able to eat just the chicken. It was well seasoned and not doused in cheese, which I appreciated. Note to self: no sour cream next time. It was unnecessary. The omelette came with a side of home fries. The home fries were the perfect mix of soft and crispy, with onions and peppers. They tasted great. It also came with toast and I added avocado, and made avocado toast... YUM. I had an iced coffee on the side. Nothing special about the coffee- not good or bad.
