I haven't been to 5.2 in probably 7 years? It has been forever. All that to say, it was still great! I ordered delivery on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I got a peach/strawberry black tea, mild popcorn chicken and nutella taiyaki. Peach/strawberry black tea was perfect. I did not get boba since I had other snacks. Tasty and not too sweet. The mild popcorn chicken was good. It wasn't overly bready or salty. My favorite was the nutella taiyaki. I thought it might be a little soggy since I ordered delivery but was pleasantly surprised by its crispy outside and softer inside. It was really delicious. I will definitely be ordering again! Best milk teas around! I reccomend the Thai tea, Jasmine milk tea and Tiger brown sugar milk tea. All are great! Also the staff here is awesome. If you're into floral drinks ask for a Thai tea with a half shot of rose syrup in it. read more

I visited during the grand opening week. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality of their tea is amazing. I ordered a hibiscus, strawberry and lychee fruit tea with boba as well as a milk tea with boba drink. Their tea is delicious and refreshing and I highly recommend their mix and match fruit tea, which is only four dollars for a regular cup. Their boba is chewy and delicious, adding a flavorful touch to their refreshments. The interior of their shop is modern, newly renovated and chic with an aesthetic flair to the decorations. The taiyaki is delicious, one of the best I have ever had. Its skin is crispy and the inside is chewy and perfectly made with a sweet inside of whatever you want. I got Nutella, which was tasty and made perfectly. The aroma is heavenly and this delicious temptation is crafted perfectly to induce drool. 5.2 Patio is one of my favorite boba shops to visit for dessert or a snack as well as quality tea and delicious taiyaki fish. This place opened up about 6 minutes from my house which is great because not many boba places around. It's really clean and nice inside. SO many options which is great. I had the cheese foam iced jasmine green milk tea with lychee jelly. The cheese foam was good and the tea was good but I barely got any lychee jelly. My friends ordered a guava green tea and a passion fruit green tea and they liked it. I'm definitely going to come back to explore the menu. They also have a stamp card so if you are local I'd recommend getting it. read more

My boyfriend and I used to go here often and decided to go to another location because recently customer service has been awful and our orders have just been getting effed up ie ordering a large getting a regular instead ie. waiting for 3-5 min for someone to come to register and take our order. Of course this is expected as the people working here seem age appropriate for this kind of aloofness. Aka young (which makes me sound hella old). Finally a boba spot near me! I found this place via Postmates and so happy I did. My go-to order is a taro milk tea boba and a side of their crispy chicken (mild because the spicy is SPICY lol) The staff look pretty young so service can be a *little* slow but I'm rarely in a rush so I don't mind waiting. I was so excited when 5.2 patio opened in Sunland! I am an avid boba lover and this place is wonderful! Not only is the boba itself always taste fresh, the staff is kind and helpful. I love getting the Vietnamese Coffee Blasts with boba, its miles better than a starbucks frap. It never does that thing where theres too much ice at the bottom and its hard to drink, like a frap does. Highly, Highly recommend. I'm very glad to have a good boba place nearby finally. read more

Although the smoothies are great at 5.2 Patio, don't make the mistake of waiting inside for your drink. It smells so bad like old frying oil that you will need to go home, change your clothes and take a shower. I don't know why the ventilation is so bad, wish they'd just open the door to air the place out. Again, their drinks are amazing but the place stinks! read more

Love the boba just but I just had to wait 50 minutes for my boba very upsetting they should hire more staff!

WOW This place is so neat, clean, and new!! I think this place is quite larger than the one that in la cresenta. I love the teas and boba here. And also, it smells good too!!! To say I'm ecstatic is an understatement. I love the 5.2 in La Crescenta and go there frequently. Having one closer to my house is so convenient. This location is very large and following the common theme of the other location very clean. Their drink selection seemed a lot bigger which is awesome, THEY EVEN HAVE CHEESE TEA! Great selection of drinks and snacks. Service can be uneven but the quality of the food is sorta worth it.

The boba is decent, nothing special, but never bad. We've ordered postmates twice and both times the straws were missing. We cleared it up with the driver that they were never packed and boba is the sort of thing you can't really enjoy without the proper straw. It's frustrating having a $50 order when you're paying for delivery and convenience and STILL having to leave home to purchase straws from somewhere. If you're ordering I guess be sure to specify for employees to pack what they should already be packing. I wouldn't have left a review if it weren't a repeat event. I love this place for a quick boba pick me up. I have become a regular here and I often go when I have a craving. My friend and I also come here often to grab a quick drink as well. The drinks come out super fast and the wait is at most 3-5 minutes. Usually when I come in an older gentleman is working and he is super nice. The drinks there are extravagant and the honey boba is very chewy, unlike some other places that I've been to. When I walk in, music is always the ones that are popular which makes the mood of the restaurant a more positive one. Would definitely go there again with friends and family. Love this place.
