Strawberry Banana Smoothie With Yogurt

I like coming here. Always some yummy drinks that hit the spot every time and priced well

Poopybutt H.

The drinks are very refreshing I used to come every 2 days and the two girls who always asked me what I want one time I did not even ask and they made it (: .I recommend getting rose iced tea my fav and my mom loves strawberry guava fruit tea. The vibe is very bright which I'm fine with it doesn't really matter to me I care if my drink was good.

We come here probably one or twice per month. We've never been unhappy. Service is always super friendly. The Nutella fish thing is bomb. Drinks can take awhile, but it's never been unreasonable. Anything snow is so good!

i have been coming to 5.2 patio since i was in high school. (I'm 25 now) i have enjoyed this boba shop throughout the years however, i just don't feel like this place is the same anymore. what i liked about 5.2 patio was the varieties of snacks they have. one of my go to snacks was their pot stickers. i really enjoyed it but now i have been disappointed. when i used to get pot stickers in high school i remembered they would put a really nice amount of spicy powder that the potsticker is fully covered. you could taste the spiciness on your lips and the juiciness from the pork when taking a bite. lately their pot stickers aren't up too par anymore. it's unfortunate because it was really one of my favorites on their menu. hopefully they make the pot stickers back to how they use too.

Chocolate Snow Boba 10/10. Interior is so airy and clean. Boba has the perfect squishy to bouncy ratio.

Fast service, delicious drinks and a lot of customization available. Will be coming back when I need some milk tea.

iced Vietnamese coffee with boba!

Strong and delicious boba Vietnamese coffee can be found here!! My fiancé and I were in the area randomly today and stopped in for an afternoon pick-me-up. I'm a sucker for Vietnamese coffee and the one I had today was one of the best I've had! My fiancé chose blended without boba, I had iced with boba. They actually had slightly different flavors, which was a surprise. Both were amazingly good and strong! I actually took a break from mine when usually, I chug coffee like it's water lol. The shop was super clean and tidy. The signage on the walls they had up was super funny. Wish we had one of these closer to us in Duarte!

Longest wait ever.... only to make a boba drink which was only okay. I would not recommend this place. Better boba other places.

Great selection of drinks and snacks. Service can be uneven but the quality of the food is sorta worth it.

Drove by a few times before we decided to check it out. Glad we did. Tiny little bakery, with lots…read moreof Armenian-style pastries. Easy to find something for every kind of sweet tooth: chocolate cakes, cream puffs, tiramisu, cookies, sweet breads, etc. Prices are nicely priced. We got a variety and were happy with everything. I liked seeing that trays of items were completely sold out. Must be good! Service is not the friendliest. It would be better if they got rid of all that junk plastic candy mess on the top of the displays. It makes the small space feel smaller, it pulls away from all the lovely pastries, and the women behind the counter can't even see over it when they ask you what you want.

Her mother texted asking if we could bring pastries. It was after 6 p.m., so I turned to trusty Yelp to see what might still be open between Montrose and our destination. This bakery came up, so we stopped in to give it a try. One gentleman was minding both the bakery and the liquor store next door. It wasn't that busy at either place, but he did have to run between the two. He let us know that he'd be right with us, so we had time to look around. The baked goods cases were about half full at 7:00 at night. The man helping us didn't really know anything about the fillings of some of the items that weren't self-explanatory. He got our selections packed up nicely, but it would have been helpful to be able to get more info about some of the cakes/pastries. SG (age 5) boldly chose a cream puff for herself. I wasn't sure if she would like it, but once we got to her house she happily scarfed down half of it, saving the other half for the next day. Dear Hubby and I picked several layers cake pieces, and I added two chocolate-filled cookies. He went for a cannoli, of which they had several options of fillings. I think our daughter and son-in-law made out the best, as we weren't sure what they would like so we got them some Black & White cake, honey cake, espresso cake, and some of the chocolate-filled cookies. It was a dessert-tasting feast to wind up the weekend when we arrived at their place.

I try to eat healthy, so having ice cream isn't something I do often, but after my first sample I knew I wouldn't be able to hold back. I ordered a double scoop and got one of the Orange Creamsicle and one of Nut Your Average Scoop. Both were delicious, but the Orange Creamsicle was my favorite. It was a refreshing take on the classic flavor. I especially loved the bits of orange zest sprinkled throughout. It only took one visit for me to become a fan of Moo Moo Mia and I can't wait to visit again!

The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!
