There are a plethora of options out there for boba drinks, but none come close to The Boba Bar. Tyler and Holly always have a smile on their faces and their drinks are absolutely delicious. They also give you choices on how much (or how less) sugar you want, and now I am quite happy with the low-sugar (healthier) option. This place has some of the best Thai tea in the valley! I have been to many different boba shops and Thai restaurants and this one is always consistently good. It's not overly biter and they adjust the sweetness level to your liking. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are ever in the mood for Thai tea. My only complaint and reasoning for giving them 4 starts instead of 5 is that they charge way too much for "no ice". I was charged an additional $2 for omitting the ice. The Boba Bar is one of my favorite boba spots! I adore them and thank my lucky stars daily that I don't live closer or I wouldn't be able to stay away. They are so yummy! This is the best boba place in Burbank. They make sandwiches here. My favorite is their pastrami on croissant bread. You also have the option of bagel or French roll for your sandwiches. I read this place might be on the sweeter side so I ordered 25% sweet and it was pretty spot on and I liked the little lychee bits in there. There is usually just the one nice lady making all the drinks so it kinda takes awhile to get your drink. I wish they moved their blenders to the back since they are super loud, so trying to talk to my friend while they made back-to-back-to-back blended drinks was really hard. Otherwise a no-frills spot. The fries were pretty fresh and good but kinda expensive at $7. Mostly all of the parking spots in this tiny plaza are labeled as 20 min only but we were able to park there for longer. read more

The service was horrible at this location! The workers barely looked at you while you spoke, were not flexible. One lady was nice, and explained the extra charge for the add ins that caused a miscommunication. However, when I went back into the store a few seconds later, I spoke to another worker, (probably the manager) and asked if I could just get a side of boba so I could add it into my boba I already purchased. The add in was 65cents, and I brought a dollar. So I was ready to pay. He was not polite at all, and he actually was the one who didn't look at me. Hands down one of my favorite Vietnamese coffees. It is strong and balanced with a hint of condensed milk. Their honey boba is also a bit smaller than most and has a really nice chewy and bouncy texture. We also tried their Thai milk tea and it was very good. I've only had the green juice, but I love that they serve freshly squeezed natural juices with no sugar added. The green juice was delicious and felt better drinking some nutrients than sugar and caffeine. Great service, friendly and I love the music inside, which reminds me so much of being in Thailand. I've only been to The Boba Bar once and overall, I'd give it a 4/5. Their service was top notch, an easy 5/5! It was my first time there and both the man and woman at the counter were so nice. The milk tea was a 4/5 to me. I think it might've been too sweet, but it definitely piqued my interest and got me to want to come back and try other drinks. The ube cafe, however, was 2/5. I couldn't taste the ube :( actually I couldn't taste the coffee either, I think the drink overall just wasn't for me. It was very sweet and maybe the ube and coffee didn't mix well together. They are fries sure but cleaner and fresher taste.They were delightful and served with a honey mustard sauce for dipping. The fries were good too. I sat at the window bar and stool with the picturesque up close view of the mountains, beautiful and comfy. I also ordered honey dew melon milk tea with boba. It was amazing! Tasted just like sweet juicy honey dew and the boba were tender and chewy as I like them. Although the fish and fries are cooked to order, it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Everything I've had here has always been very good. Milk tea and other drinks and leaps and bounds better than It's Boba Time. Do yourself a favor and go here instead. The menu is fairly large for a boba spot (a bunch of food options!), so I was hopeful when coming in. However, I only ordered drinks - the galaxy & the Cambodian red lime. Just a disclaimer - I think someone would like these drinks but it's not for me. That being said, I think these are well crafted & made. The galaxy was the better of the 2. To me, it tasted quite medicinal at first because it had an artificial cherry flavor but it mellows out once you keep drinking. The Cambodian red lime had nutmeg (or cinnamon?) in it which I wasn't expecting in a tea drink. It was good, just not for me. I think this place is pretty good if you're in the area! Nice little boba place that you haven't heard of. Had the avocado shake, with boba, and the Plassionfruit slush. Passion fruit slush was very flavorful the entire time, and it has trash passion fruit seeds in it meaning they're using the actual fruit when making the product. Avocado shake was also yummy, better than I expected. Also tried the shrimp, which was fairly basic, but it's a nice little side option to have at a boba shop. Service was fast and efficient.
