Lots of tv's inside for watching sports. Small parking lot but there's some street parking outside. They have a pretty cool outdoor hang out spot with a pool table, but we didn't see anyone use it. Really wanted to like this place more on account of the fact that reviews say they make homemade tortillas. We got chips and salsa immediately and the salsa was amazing. We got a whole bunch of tacos and burritos and for sure the taco tortillas were great, from the homemade touch, but the meat was just a little lacking. We got a variety of them, and they came loaded, just needed more depth of flavor, so had to give only 3 stars for that even though everything else good ... bc thats what we came for. This review is long overdue! I've been coming here for a year now and it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in SJ. My boyfriend and I love going on Taco Tuesdays, especially this semester since I have classes at SJSU nearby. The food is always amazingly fresh. The meat in the tacos is flavorful and juicy. You can't go wrong with any of them-- pollo, carnitas, or carne asada. We also love the guacamole and chips. The guacamole is the perfect creamy texture. I also recommend trying their chicken mole! Mole is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. The chicken is so soft and tender that you don't need a knife to eat it. Try ordering the corn tortillas! They are handmade and so delicious. Service is always warm and friendly. The restaurant is cozy, and although I have never been there late, I'd imagine it gets lively on weekend nights! read more

Usually only order the basics of tacos and burritos at Mexican restaurants but I decided to step out of my comfort zone & order some authentic dishes I've never had. I absolutely loved their Carne en su Jugo & Molcajete Carne! In combination with their homemade tortillas, it was comfort Mexican food at its best. The Carne en su Jugo was really flavorful & they don't skimp out on the meat at all. It comes with a side of onions, cilantro, jalapeño, lemon, and tortillas. The Molcajete Carne comes out piping hot and absolutely filled to the brim. Once again, extremely generous with their meat. It's served with tortillas, beans, and rice on the side. My cousin and I were hungry kinda late on a Friday night . This taqueria is open till 3am on Friday and Saturday nights for only tacos . A man outside was making the tacos fresh to order . We walked in a young lady took our order after paying we took the order ticket to the man outside and he makes your tacos on the spot . They have salsas and other condiments to go with your tacos . They have plenty of seating inside . They also have a pool table outside that is $2 a game . I forgot to mention they only take cash if you don't have any they have a ATM machine inside . The young lady that took our order was very nice and attentive. I seen that they offer happy hour during the week days and a Taco Tuesday deal $1.99 tacos all day on Tuesdays pretty sweet deal . Why have I not written a review for this place baffles me. For the longest time my team would come here after work to grab tacos and vent for our crazy day at the restaurant. I do miss those days of being here at 2 am waiting in the long line of people still keeping the partying going on and on. Though those days seems to be gone, and yes I do miss it. the food has been the same. I still get my tripa and lengua done the way I like it. I am guilty of only knowing how these two meats taste due to getting a plate of these every time. A friend and I came during lunch on a weekday. We parked in their private lot, which fit ~6-8 cars. Since it was lunch time during the work week the lot had ample parking. There's seating both inside and outside. I wanted to try this place because a friend recommended their tacos. I got a Chicken Taco, a Beef Taco and a Super Burrito with Chicken. I was a little disappointed by the tacos because they were on the dry side. Additionally, the burrito seemed to be missing avocado (or there wasn't much in it in proportion to the other items). Service was quick and our food came with complementary chips and salsa which was a nice addition. Although I didn't love the food, I would give it another try. The mister was hangry for lunch today so we decided to stop in at 1.30 pm based on proximity and reviews. This place did not disappoint. The waitress was kind, friendly and quick. Drinks, chips and salsa were served right away. The mister had chicken and steak fajitas with homemade corn tortillas - delicious and plenty of meat. I ordered the beef enchiladas w red salsa - also with a large portion of meat. Limited seating in the dining area, but we found it all to be clean, including the tables and chairs.
