Let start by saying ... "Good Service makes Good food taste GREAT!!! Bad Service Makes Great Food taste like $#!T!!!" Short version: dont come here when its busy because their staff doesnt have a clue how to do good service in a timely manner. Long Version: Wow!!! My family are regulars here (we've been eating here for almost 2yrs). And we've always come and eat here when we're craving PHO cuz its close to the house. But service has slowly gone down hill; these pass couple of months. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. My family came in on a rainy Wednesday night. With a colds and cough hurting for some hot Pho. We got sat down and then shortly after 3 other groups/couples followed. We placed our orders and waited eagerly. I messed up; I placed 2 wrong orders of shrimp spring rolls instead of 2 beef spring rolls. Ill own up to that. Our order was 2 number #17's combo Large, 1 #26 beef ball pho small, 1 #74a wonton egg noodle soup small, 1 #18 Beef round steak Pho small, 3 thai teas, 1 sprite, 1 diet coke... Waited ... host came back and said they didnt have anymore thai teas except for 1 cup. We change thai teas to 3 sprites... The soups start coming out for our kids. Except mine and my wife ( our 10month old baby daughters ) #17 combos... We waited ... more soups come out and theyre for 3 other groups / couples that were seated after us... Waited some more ... Now my kids are almost at the bottom of their bowls. All the while me and my wife are sitting their asking our other kids to share their soups & noodles with our 10month old; so shes not hungry ... 2 more groups come in and they take their orders and their appetizers come out. And our soups are still nowhere to be found. Then the chef came out because the host took his break and asked us if we were missing anymore soup. I told him yes and he came back with a receipt and showed me our order. Which had 2 #17's that never made it to our table. 5 to 10minutes later the host came back and commented that I looked hungry... I told him I was PISSED!!! And he knew how long its been since we placed our orders and how our kids were pretty much done with their bowls. Another 5 minutes later our soups came out. But it was too late... I was too pissed to even crave PHO. Wifey ate heres at home. I refuse to touch mine. I told the owner and the host ... that you guys screwed up bad. They said we'll do better next time. I absolutely love this place! I ended up here somewhat by mistake. I'm usually pretty apprehensive about trying a new pho place, but when the craving kicked in in overdrive, I had no choice but to trust the yelp reviews. I'm so happy to say that I was not disappointed in the least bit! This place is mouth-watering delicious! I get the house special with no tripe. The broth is phenomenally flavorful. We came here today for diner. Our server Violet was great. She was making sure my husband didn't get any onions in his food. Great service from here. Happy to say food was delicious. I'm giving this a 3 base solely on food review. However I first off would like to say that there customer service was exceptional. The only thing I really enjoyed was there bao luc lac. It had the most flavor but portion was small. The presentation came out pretty as it came on a boat plate. the other two rice dish was lacking in flavor as well. Meat and rice plate had too much fat on the meat and the bbq chicken was so so. All there soup dishes from pho to noodles defiantly lacked flavor. But good thing is that you get to choose fresh noodles. We had there Thai tea and it was absolutely not Thai tea at all. We asked for boba but the boba was clear and hard. Def. not a big fan when I normally love Thai tea. That's what I get for trying a different pho spot. I think the pho would of been good but when I went to grab some noodles THEY WERE CUT INTO PIECES. It was a takeout order, obviously!!! Items #40 and 42 as pictured were some of the best dishes I've had in awhile. The crunchy style noodle was perfect and so flavorful. This restaurant was very clean and we were greeted and seated right away. My grandma really wanted pho but I wasn't really feeling it so I got the chicken chow mein. The chicken chow Mein just wasn't what I was expecting and I didn't like it. In the photo, the plate looks nice but the chicken tasted a little off and the noodles were dry. When I'm craving Vietnamese cuisine, I usually go here since it's close by. I've been here a few times and the workers are friendly and make you feel like family. The pho (beef noodle soup) here is really flavorful and comes with 2 types of noodles (fresh and original thin noodles) to choose from. My choice would be the fresh noodles since the texture is really good compared to the original thin ones. The fresh noodles are a bit wider too. Anyway, I tried something different today than the usual pho choice. The rice dish with grilled pork (com thit nuong) was good. The meat was tender and the veggies were fresh. Just wish there were more veggies though. The rice dish comes with a side of soup, which is the same broth as they use for their beef pho. So you get a little bit of both. The rice was a bit dry though. I just sprinkled some of the broth soup onto the rice and that made the rice more edible. The other dish is a type of beef noodle salad (bun bo xao). It comes on a dish, but it's much easier if you request it in a bowl so you can mix it like a salad. Hopefully, next time the rice won't be so dry. Ordered on door dash. Delivery time was great only about 35 minute wait. The reason for the low score is because the broth and noodles were all cold upon arrival. Heated the broth up and added all the ingredients. They did not include any hoisan sauce or sriracha despite my requesting them. Granted all those things are fine and I can handle it without some sauce. But the noodles are literally so stale and have terrible texture almost to the point of inedible. Just bad noodles. It came with a receipt that the meal cost $9.95. Despite on doordash I paid $12.20. Again it's rona season and I don't mind the up charge. I'm just sooo disappointed in the noodles.
