I've had pho many many many times before. And to be honest... I'm not a huge fan of it. It's just mediocre soup in my honest opinion... I ONLY go if someone else with me wants to go. With that being said, my mother really wanted to eat pho. To my dismay, I obliged and found this on yelp. It has some good reviews but I didn't expect anything spectacular. It's just pho after all. We arrived and I'm quite surprised at how large and spacious the restaurant is. It actually looks really nice compared to all the other ones I been to. We head in and people are going in and out for online orders. But it was dead. The gentleman seats us right away and gets us the menu. We order our pho (we both got the combination) and ordered the Bahn Mi (I think that's how you spell it... the sandwich). Upon ordering we waited and I observed the Asian guy that seated us. I think he's either the owner or the manager. He just stared off into empty space outside without blinking. I don't know why, but it seems all Asian restaurant owners do this. We received the soup first. It was piping hot. I added the sauce in it and... WOW! I'm GENUINELY surprised and impressed. Hands down the best pho I've ever had. Again, I don't like pho. But this was so good, I'm considering making another special trip to riverside to eat here again. And this restaurant is about two hours away. The broth is so flavorful and the best I've ever had. Normally I'd finish the noodles and other items in the soup and leave the broth. Because pho lacks flavor to me. But this was so good, I started drinking it and couldn't finish because... the sandwich came. My only complaint would be "the appetizer (the sandwich) came last." But I was ok with that. That sandwich was so damn good. I'm genuinely impressed with this hidden gem in riverside. I HAVE to give it five star rating. I will be back again in the future. If this restaurant is an hour or less away from you, I would highly suggest you try it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the food. read more

Not too familiar with Pho. So I tried the most popular brisket flank noodle soup and vegetable spring rolls. I ordered it to go not sure what to expect. It came packaged beautifully, everything in separate containers and bags sealed with all the sauces, jalapeños even utensils without having to ask. It was really tasty. The broth had a great flavor where I saved the rest and just sipped on it through the evening. Spring rolls had the best peanut sauce. This place really is 5 stars! My husband and I frequently go here to eat or order takeout and the quality is always consistent. The pho broth has so much flavor and doesn't need much extra seasoning and the rice dishes, especially the bbq pork, always leave us wanting more. Personally, they make the best pho in the area since the taste is always the same, in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants. Came from Perris specifically for my first experience. Hours said open until 8:30 pm. Arrived around 7:40pm. Upon walking up, there was a sign on the window that said take out only. Was slightly confused because there was a party of 4 eating in a booth and another man eating at a table. Walked in and confirmed if it was take out only. They weren't very friendly or concerned. Even if they stated that after a certain hour, it's take out only, it would have been more received, but they were fairly disregarding. We wanted to dine in so we didn't eat here, but after we walked out and were standing outside looking up other pho restaurants in the area we watched at least three other parties come, see the sign and leave. Fortunately for us, we found an amazing pho restaurant across the street from the Tyler Mall with good service and later hours. I'm grateful that it didn't work out because I would have never stumbled across a new favorite and great first experience. read more

One of my goto Pho restaurants in Riverside. Their Pho broth is always on point. Very good flavor. The staff there are always so nice. I have noticed this time around they served less meat with their dishes. I get it, inflation. We ordered crispy wontons but we were basically just eating fried wonton wrappers. The meat inside the wonton was soooooo small. Not worth it and will not be ordering that again. Maybe I'll stick to ordering just Pho next time. read more

Pretty spacious, friendly staff that pays attention to detail which is great. They have my favorite crispy (chow mein) egg noodles! It was about 5" tall! Haha! (see pic) It was delicious, the chicken was good and the veggies were fresh! Only drawback for me was there was no 3 color drinks but they had plum juice, Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea, the Thai tea was pretty good. Also, unlike most places we've been to, they gave us the option of thin noodles (the traditional type) vs. thick noodles. The thick noodles were actually not that much thicker, but they are supposedly made fresh in-house, as we were told. I opted for the traditional thin type of noodles. The broth was very flavorful. And the noodles had just the right amount of firmness. Overall, had a delicious meal and I'm glad I found a great pho place in Riverside. Just got back from trying this place for the first time. I came here with my 2 year old, and fiancé, and two of his brothers whom are visiting from up north. The food is great and amazing. My friends and I came during lunch rush hour, and mobs of humans were entering and exiting this place by the minute. We were greeted and welcomed upon entry and sat wherever we pleased. We ordered the vegetarian vermicelli, brisket flank pho, and chicken pho. Everything was tasty and filling. We left with food babies and were as happy as can be. They use vegetarian broth with the vegetarian vermicelli, and it was loaded with veggies and noodles. The large is big enough to satisfy two people. Customer service was excellent. Staff is honest and friendly. Our burning hot food was brought out to us within minutes of ordering. They do use msg, but not a lot. There was another waitress with a costume on over her regular clothes. I totally seen new owner yelling at her for wearing a costume. The waitress was trying to explain she got permission from old owner. The new owner wouldn't listen, she just kept yelling at her. Stopped by for pho but decided to change my mind last minute. Their chicken Pad Thai was tasteful. It's something I would more than likely reorder. While I was sitting there it looks like Pho is their best seller everyone had a bowl. I also had their shrimp spring rolls. A little different than what I am use to seeing. Possibly they didn't use their greenish vegetables. So it wasn't as appealing but still good. They have their food priced pretty high, just those two options cost me over $20.
