Pies they sell.
Beth S.

My husband has gone here on Veterans Day for two years and has gotten a free meal. They are so patriotic and it's nice to see. The inside is very clean with great decor and packed with people almost every time we go there. It feels cozy and the staff are so attentive and hospitable. It feels as if they know me and my family. The food was great too! I loved the grits! It has the best breakfast in Broken Arrow. My parents came for a visit and my dad loved their liver and onions. We ordered two pies for Thanksgiving and they were amazing! My favorite was the carmel pecan.

Steak tips

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Always fast and easy. I will say the only negative is there are times when it can get really busy but they are normally pretty good about it. Best breakfast and I highly recommend the steak tips.

Pork tenderloin with okra.

Cute diner, nice staff and awesome pork tenderloin sandwich (like Iowa pork tenderloin)! Recommend!

"Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." Yogi Berra 4.6 star rating with over 1200 reviews on Google is evidence of the restaurants popularity, and the fact that this Saturday morning the parking lot was full. Parking had overflowed in to adjoining businesses. If you are going to eat here on Saturday, go very early or after 10 am. We walked in the at 9:30; the place was packed. A beehive of activity. Fortunately, a group of 8 or more local firefighters were finishing and we got a table. The restaurant is well staffed with a team of friendly cheerful attentive ladies. They worked well together to keep things moving as if rehearsed. Regardless of who your initial waiter was they will all stop by to check on you. The restaurant is small. When crowded like today, a collision involving waitresses with arms loaded with plates, seemed inevitable. Never happened, they flowed smoothly back and forth to the kitchen like a school of fish. Great service. I had selected five of Google's top rated diners in the Tulsa area for this morning's meal. Deciding came down to one thing; which restaurant had the best looking hashbrowns. 50's diner had the winning picture of what diner hash brown should look like. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the "All American with Meat." Two eggs, bacon, hash browns, a biscuit and gravy. I didn't realize how hungry I was, until the plate was clean. My wife chose the bacon omelet with the seasoned fried potatoes. She loved the meal. Check the pictures. They have a great deal for breakfast during the week. Two eggs, two bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy for $7.99, served weekdays from 6am to 8am. You can't eat a meal at McDonalds that good, for that price, with service. And, my wife spotted the pie menu! Possibly the best diner in Broken Arrow. When we walked in and saw the packed diner, Yogi Berra's famous saying came to mind.

It lives up to its sign!

Very friendly, very delicious breakfast. I had the chili omelette with hashbrowns and a biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were definitely homemade and so light and fluffy they we're almost fragile. The biscuit is split in half and each half is lightly toasted on the exposed side which was a really nice touch. The chili is real chili, meaning Texas and Oklahoma chili does not have beans while Midwest and eastern chili does have beans. This is true Oklahoma-Texas chili over the omelette. It was delicious. The waitress was friendly and could adjust to any topping or variation from the menu. The diner's look and feel made everything comfortable and relaxed. What a wonderful place found by accident. I will return.

It was ok. Reminds me of the boomerang restaurant but not as good. Service was good just that the food doesn't make me eager to go back.

Having been there now, we couldn't agree more. The staff and I think maybe the owner were all attentive and very friendly. The place was clean and bright. We had a variety of breakfast items and all of it was good and fairly priced. Our grandchild especially liked the pancake and eggs with fruit and the fun plate design. Would recommend and we'll be back!

Took 1 hour to get our food, they told other tables the kitchen was slow today. The food arrived finally and it was cold. My bf got a double bacon cheeseburger, he wanted it medium, it came out well done, and it was super dry, and hard to even swallow; covered it with ketchup to soak it up and it also didn't even have any bacon on it. I ordered the egg it on platter, the ham steak was also dry and overcooked. The fruit on the side was a good selection, but some of the strawberries were rotten. The biscuit was good but the gravy didn't taste homemade it tasted like they used a packet. Would not come back- the price and waiting for the food to arrive that wasn't even good was not worth it.

Society offers a thoughtful variety, ranging from familiar classics like a basic cheeseburger and…read morechicken tenders to more elevated bar-and-grill options such as the Spicy Okie Burger and Chicken Pesto Parm sandwich. Not in the mood for a burger or sandwich? There are other options such as salad and pasta, which rounds out the menu. The sides offer flexibility as well with regular fries or upgrading to something with a little extra zing such as the jalapeño cheddar tots. Drink options are also well covered from standard fountain drinks and lemonade to classic shakes or those a little boozy. I prefer this location for its ease of parking and seating; customer service also consistently knocks it out of the park.

The hostess (she didn't say her name) had the personality of a rock. If you're a business owner, you want the host/hostess to be the gleaming face of your establishment. This hostess had no smile, no energy, and no desire to be a welcoming person. Eyore has a better personality. Now, on the flip side, Bella (our server) was a rock star. She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor. Again, the food was top notch, but you really need employees that serve as a host/hostess to put on their happy face and actually act like you enjoy working there. She may have been having a bad day, but that is not an excuse.

My sister in law brought me a platter of her homemade baked goods for Christmas and put it on the table. When our server came over he looked at it and said "Okay"? We weren't eating it, she just gave it me to take home - it's Christmas! He finally asked for our drink orders and I asked for a Bloody Mary and he asked for my I.D. He stood there staring at it for a couple minutes and then gave it back to me. I am over forty, so not sure what that was about. We finally decided on breakfast, and ordered the Belgian waffle with sausage links, skillet breakfast and eggs and potatoes. My breakfast came out first so I sat there waiting for the other two orders to arrive. Finally, all the food came out and we started eating. The food was good but the waffle could have been cooked longer and the sausage links were very good. My son liked his food and so did my sister in law. Overall, we had a very nice breakfast. However, I wish all of our food came out at the same time, and our server was very odd.

The hamburgers are outstanding -- juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how you order them. You can tell they use quality beef, and the toppings are fresh. Also tried the fish. The beer batter is light, crispy, and golden without being greasy. The fish inside is flaky and tender, and the portion size is more than satisfying. Paired with their house tartar sauce and a side of crispy fries, it's comfort food done right. This tavern hits that sweet spot: great food, good prices, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a place you'll want to come back to again and again.

Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
