Very nice friendly, Mom and Pop owned and operated. Big roomy dining area. Clean, nicely decorated. The service is inefficient. Mom and Pop really need to hire some help. Maybe they are normally fully staffed just shorthanded this morning. It was noticeable. Several diners that were in the restaurant when we got seated, had been over looked. We got service before them. I understand their frustration. A group was up front at the register waiting to be seated for over 20 minutes. The restaurant had plenty of open seating. They were overlooked. Our food sat on the counter too long before it was finally served. It was a little cool. I had my standard breakfast, cooked just right, just a little too cool from the delayed delivery. My wife had an excellent cheese omelet. Check the pictures. Be patient, the food is good. read more

I've been going to Country Hills Diner off and on for years, mostly for lunch. I'm glad they're so close to where I work. They have a great selection to choose from for breakfast and lunch. They have a large seating area and can get seated rather quickly. Their food is delicious, mostly homemade comfort food. I got the "Country Boy" lunch today which is an open faced burger with brown gravy, onions and French fries. Give them a try when you're around Kiefer. They are closed on Monday's. read more

While on our visit to Tulsa we decided to stop and try out this little Diner for breakfast. We did have to wait to be seated and we waited about 2 mins. Our waitress was right there to take our drink order. For my entree I had the Max omelette and the name says it all. It had sausage, bacon, ham, cheese, and veggies. The veggies were onion, peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. I got wheat toast and home fries. The normal meal comes with hash browns and a biscuit with gravy. This was enough food that I won't need to eat till dinner tonight. I would definitely recommend this Diner. If we were going to be in town longer I would try dinner or lunch there too! read more

We haven't seen my husband's family in over 2 years due to the COVID-19 virus. We flew in from Virginia Beach, Virginia on Veterans Day. Usually the first day is just easy food to make it simple such as pizza and wings. I was really craving a country meal and my husband found this diner. My 3 cheese country omelet was very cheesey. I couldn't eat it all. Then again I had a biscuit with sausage gravy. The biscuit was cooked to perfection. However I prefer my sausage gravy to have some small chunks of sausage in it. My hashbrowns were well cooked. Not burned but just crunchy enough. I also had a pancake but I did not take a picture. It was thin and not fluffy but it was tasty and it tasted like it had vanilla in it. My husband ate all of his meal with the exception of all the toast. He enjoyed his max omelet and mentioned it wasn't greasy like a lot of diners. The home fries were a nice size and just crispy enough. The service was good. We didn't have to wait long for service and no time at all to be seated.. The diner is a nice comfortable size and rather clean. The coffee could taste better with maybe offering more choice of creamers. Next time visiting family we will visit ya'll again. read more

Excellent store front Diner experience. Excellent food, generous portions, decent verity. Service topnotch, prompt and attentive. Shrimp were fresh/frozen, nice size and good texture and flavor. Roast beef was hot, tender, flavorful and large portion, Fries were good sized and generous portion, very hot and fresh. Fruit side was pineapple, banana and strawberry all fresh and hand cut recently. Rolls were great, yeast butter flavor and warm through the meal. Onion rings were masterful, nice spice mix, fresh cut and flash fried to order, could make a meal alone. So my mom and dad were going through Kiefer the other day, and they were hungry as all get out; so they went down to try Country Hills Diner (formerly Na Na V's). New owners. Anyway, we were headed to Savastano's to eat, and they started sending me photos of this monster chicken fried steak. It was hand breaded and all. It was only $8.99. I was impressed. A few days later, next thing I know, mom was craving another chicken fried steak, so she asked my sister and I if we wanted to go and eat with her; her treat. Of course! We get there, and the lot is full, but the seating was actually more than accommodating for all of the diners. It was clean and well kept. We were seated immediately by a very kind hostess. I looked at the menu...WOW! The prices for the items were great. My mom wanted the chicken fry because it is fresh and hand breaded. My sister decided on smothered chicken, and being I'm with Yelp!, I decided to test them...I ordered a Max Omelet; at 5:30 p.m. (Breakfast is served all day). In no time, our orders were being brought out. My omelet literally filled out my whole plate. I had made one special request, which was to have the sausage left out, and it was done. My mom's chicken fry was humongous, and she asked for the gravy on the side, and they did that as well. My sister's smothered chicken was definitely smothered, but not a cheese bomb like some can be. As for the taste? One bite and you KNEW it was fresh made. It was hot. The omelet was fluffy and full of ingredients, like tomatoes, mushrooms, ham, bacon, onion, bell pepper. The hash browns had a different texture, but I found it to be enjoyable. They didn't stick together like some do. They were hot and fresh. All in all, you can't beat $44.00 for a meal (we also ordered a chicken fried steak to go for my dad) for four people, sodas included. The service was exceptional. Checked this place out secondary to the favorable reviews. Grossly disappointed In the service. The young waitress, seemed disengaged and inconvenienced to be attending to any customer. Clearly, the service industry is not a match for her. Ordered a B.L.T. with a fruit cup. While a rather simple meal to prepare it came with over-cooked, dry flavorless bacon and without any condiments offered. When I asked my waitress, Sy--, for some mayonnaise she did not even acknowledge my request but simply turned around and returned to the table to toss a mayonnaise packet on the table. Which aside from placing my initial order was the last I would see of her for my meal. Her attentiveness was dedicated to her phone and conversing with staff at the bar. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant on any day and least of all a Sunday with, Sy-- as your waitress. In the end I still intended to give Sy-- the customary 15% gratuity, giving her the benefit of the doubt she was having an "off day," as it was certainly not her performance that warranted it. I submitted the above review before paying my bill and was promptly confronted by an individual who introduced herself as the manager. She asked if she could speak to me about my review to which I agreed to her abrupt confrontation. She spent the next few minutes justifying her waitress's performance stating she was new to the job (1.5 months), challenged my perception her employee was disengaged, stated another customer had just awarded her with a most generous tip with high praise and made no attempt to acknowledge my experience. Never was their any discussion about the disappointing meal. It should be noted the manager was most gracious and refused my attempts to pay the bill and encouraged me to return. Her demeanor and body language clearly reflected, however, she was more displeased and irritated with my review and far less concerned about what prompted it. The only reason I gave this restaurant two stars was the fruit cup had a mildly redeeming quality. read more

Went here this past Saturday for breakfast. First off, the food was amazing! Ordered 2 biscuits with gravy, hash browns, and bacon. The bacon was thick and had a smoky taste to it. The biscuits were big and fluffy and tasted even better, while the gravy complimented them perfectly. The hash browns were cooked just right. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. Everything appeared new. We were seated promptly and service was on par. The staff here are very friendly and will talk if you want or leave you alone if you prefer. Great place to eat. read more

EXCELLENT CFS AND POTATO's. One of the best in TULSA county. Including Charleston's and they are the best. Battered when ordered, light and tender meat. Not grisslie! Potato's are home made as are the rolls. Both great with their gravy! Sides of beans and green beans lacked flavor. Saw a salad go by our table and think thats oyr way togo next time. Lol at management of this place. We sit down, takes a normal amount of time for the waitress to come greet us and take our order. After that it all went down hill. We were one of two groups in the restaurant. With wait staff all around, we had to flag our waitress down for everything. Food took 30 minutes to arrive at the table. Never got ketchup or hot sauce after asking for it 3 times. To top it all off, we pick up our bill that was dropped off right after ordering and notice that we have been charged a dollar more for every meal we ordered. We don't think much of it. We walk to the cash register and bring it to the managers attention. He then tells us that prices have gone up because of COVID and looks at us for our credit card. Lol. I quickly tell him that these were not the published prices on the menu to which he responds, "well prices are subject to change." Lol. He says he has been having to explain this to customers all day. This dude is literally standing there trying to justify why he has been STEALING from customer for the last several weeks. This is insane in every way. This manager actually had the nerve to argue with me about this. I honestly couldn't believe I wasn't dreaming. Absolute insanity. Literally robbing people, not telling them that the prices on the menu are incorrect before they eat, finding out when the bills comes. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Everything is from scratch which reminds me of my mother's cooking. The food was delicious and I loved the ambiance of the diner. Best breakfast around hands down, and you can get it all day. Never greasy and good portions. They have a huge chicken fried steak that's really good, the burgers and fries are better than most diners, and they have excellent catfish. I have eaten here dozens of times and I've never had a bad meal. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is sometimes the service is slow, always polite but slow. We decided to make the drive over from Bixby to try Country Hill Diner. The food was great but the service was really really slow. I really wanted to give five stars because the burgers sandwiches and fried steak were that good but it took way to long to get our order and way too long to get our check from the waitress. Even with businesses having issues you would think the manager would be a little nicer. Be an example to be polite and be friendly. Things started out great. Was greeted nicely when we walked in. Seated quickly. Ordered food. Then when the food arrived things went down hill without a basket. The lady came out of the kitcken and told me she was training her new cook. She out gravy on my chicken and asked if that would be ok?. Said no please. I don't do gravy. Picked up the plate and layer returned with another chicken freshly cooked, back side dripping with oil. Had gravy on the potatoes. Said Asian I don't do gravy. If looks would have killed I would be dead. Again took the plate away. Finally came back and placed the plated down heavy. Glad it wasn't fine China. Husband burger was really greasy. Fries were closer to white than golden brown. Thought it would be a great place according to the website but we won't be back. Asked who the blonde lady was and was told she was the manager. Wow. She should stay in the kitcken. We drove off our route to tulsa to get real food. Won't be back here. Will just stay on 75 and go to somewhere closer to our hotel. Wish them the best of luck. Could have been a meal to remember. And we will. This is a pretty good diner with chicken fried steak, burgers, chicken bites and your usual fare. They were doing breakfast/lunch, now doing lunch/dinner. I expect the hours to fluctuate a little until they learn when their business is. The CFS pictured is the smaller 6 oz, they had a larger full portion as well.
