I like the vibe here, modern but with a bit of coziness. The coffee and pastries are good. We waited a bit for service, but it was fine.

Drinks: I got the maple cold foam cold brew and it was very good. The cold foam had a great taste to it and the cold brew was nice and strong. However, it was over $7, which is still pricier than most cafes nowadays. Environment: The place is nice. Decent amount of seating inside with the large tables in the center, these are the only tables that have outlets, so keep that in mind if you are planning to come here to study. There is also seating outside. I got my drink in a glass since I stayed to work for a bit, it was nice. The parking around is limited. Service: The service was good, the baristas are nice. It did seem like everyone who ordered did have to wait a bit for their drink, not super long, but notable. I parked on the street and visited for a coffee. It is a quiet place with minimal decor with seating both inside and also on an outside deck; it appears to be a converted home. I placed my order with the very friendly woman behind the counter - a hot vanilla latte and a Nutella croissant which I requested to be warmed up. I sat at one of the few open indoor tables that wasn't occupied by laptop campers. In a few minutes she quietly called me to the counter to pick up my order. My vanilla latte, served in a ceramic mug, was typical but quite good. The croissant was heated just enough to make it warm without melting the Nutella which was generously filling the interior. There was a lot of Nutella crammed into that croissant so it would have been a mess if overheated. Even so, what's with napkins that are the size of a postage stamp? I need about 20 to get through a Nutella croissant. The croissant itself was flakey and delicious. Although not "wowed" by this place, if I lived nearby I'd likely visit now and then. read more

Wow I'm impressed the girl helping us helped us choose she said the strawberry cream latte was amazing I am so happy I tried it cause it really is. Definitely coming back. I was kind of looking forward to coming here but I was not super impressed. There are pros and cons. First off, parking was confusing. The establishment faces the street and street parking was 2 hours but there wasn't any available. A lot of surrounding businesses look like apartment buildings and small parking entrances some on the side, so I drove several times around before taking a risk to park next door. I haven't checked my car and it's been about 4 hours so hopefully nothing shady happened. Haha Okay so this coffee house looks like a renovated house. The size inside is okay. A good amount of tables and outlets but unfortunately the items I got were not so great. Maybe I am just coffee'd out from the cafes I've been visiting, but nothing is perfect. Sometimes the coffee is good but ambiance is not, and sometimes like here the ambiance is good but the coffee isn't. This makes me want to open up my own coffee place that will have both but that's in my wildest dreams. :) I got the strawberry latte with milk and a birthday "cakewich". Both items came out to $14. Sigh the coffee was average but I only took about 5 sips my whole time there. As for the cake, its not fresh and got me wondering how long has it been in the display? I was hoping there wouldn't be mold on it and there wasn't, but it didn't taste fresh and the flavor was nothing special. I will say this place is quiet and a good place to study. Quality of matcha is so good! The strawberry matcha is exactly how I like it, made with strawberry puree. The matcha tonic is a bitter drink which I love, but definitely isn't for everyone. They also have wifi which makes this a great place to study or get some work done. read more

It's great if you're looking for something on the sweeter side. Definitely a nice balance between the coffee taste and sweetness. They also have a nice pastry selection as well. This morning, we visited a coffee shop. The atmosphere felt cozy and homey, just like being at home. My wife and I ordered an iced Americano and a flat white. The espresso was a blend of beans from Ethiopia and Honduras, offering a nice balance of mild acidity and syrupy sweetness. I met up with my sister-in-law where I got the Salted Maple Cream Cold Brew (pink salt, maple cream, + kyoto style cold brew). I just loved that saltiness with the sweet. She got the Orange BIanco (double espresso, cold foam milk, + housemade orange compote). Also delicious! This is such a cute little cafe! I've been coming to the Body Centre next door for years and about a year ago I saw this cafe next door. While working in the area I really needed a matcha latte and this came up so I decided now was the time. I'm so happy I went! Inside it feels small and cozy, like the type of place you can relax and do some work while sipping a hot drink. It wasn't packed with customers but had a couple other people sitting and enjoying their coffee. Not being crowded is a big plus for me. I ordered a hot matcha latte with macadamia milk and a butter croissant. I really wanted to try the sage and cheddar croissant but they sold out so I'll have to try again another time! The matcha was delicious, and not overly sweet like it tends to be at the larger chain coffee shops. Croissant was perfect; warm, flakey, buttery, and had some little crispy caramelized bits that were just delicious! I really enjoyed my morning snack and it made me feel great before heading back to work. The lady at the counter was really nice. My only gripe is the parking; in this area there is very limited street parking and the coffee shop feels like a converted house so it's parking lot is basically just a large driveway with a singular one lane entry/exit. I'm not sure what happens if two cars are entering and leaving at the same time, but thankfully I didn't have to find out. Be careful parking but please do give this place a try.
