I was craving a burger something fierce but didn't want to have to cut my burger with a knife and fork (gluten free problems) and someone said 5280Burger had real gluten free buns and not pieces of cardboard. They were so right!! If you're gluten free (celiac or preference), you know the feeling when you see a bun and it looks too good to be gluten free, that's how I felt when the burger showed up. I double checked and then inhaled The Perfect Burger. It was FANTASTIC! The waitress also said the fries aren't made in a shared fryer and so they were celiac safe. This is still a family favorites. They offer options for those with celiac or gluten free preferences- The gluten free bun is more like a wrap, it's good but don't be startled when you see a bun missing. I actually prefer it as often bulky, dry gluten free buns take away from the taste of the burger but for the $3 additional charge, I often just ask for the free lettuce wrap version and am just as satisfied. The last time I ordered Ring of Fire they pumped up the spicy level from medium to mouth on fire. I can't say that I enjoyed it lol and I'm a big fan off spice. But I life think that was an anomaly. Usually my taste buds are still in tact after. I will probably opt for the mushroom burger moving forward. Our family's favorite part of this place is their ice cream selection for desert! Love the rolled up windows for outside eating. Burgers and fries was out of this world. I had the fat boy, hubby had the ring of fire, and our son had the Big Mac and cheese. This was our first time back in a little while, and I was stoked to try the New Mexican Green Chile Burger. It was one of the best d*mn burgers I've ever had. Like, I was disappointed I was too full to order a second one just to taste it all again. The basket of fries and rings were very generous, even for two people, and everything was cooked to perfection. Husband's order was without cheese, of course, but when a bit had touched and melted onto some bacon on his burger, the staff were very apologetic and fast about getting that meal remade in a jiffy. So now the food....so many cool burger choices on the menu....why choose just one??!?? They have a slider option where you can order 2 "sliders" as a dish. Sliders is in quotes because they were smaller burgers, but not slider side....nice portion size. I ordered the Boss Hog and the Mediterranean. The Hog includes pulled pork in an angus burger. One might think it was overkill....but they would be wrong! The flavor of the port was so amazingly perfect with the burger. Top notch & cooked to perfection. The Mediterranean.....CO lamb & feta burger....also cooked to perfection. The flavors here are really well thought out. 5280 Burger Bar has a fun atmosphere. There's many TVs to watch your favorite game, a bar and even a creamery for delicious treats after. All the appetizers I tried were really good. The fries are exceptional. My negatives were that I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad (which was enormous) but it was not tasty. The dressing had a strange taste and wasn't for me. The bathrooms were pretty un-tidy but I'll also recognize I did go during the dinner rush. I ordered the Durango and Perfect Burger Slider versions which honestly weren't much smaller than a regular sized burger. The meat was cooked medium rare just as ordered. It was juicy and flavorful. They have outdoor seating as well, but didn't have any shaded spots available. We ordered the fried pickles, the 5280 burger, and the mile high Cuban. The fried pickles were great. Crispy, salty, and they only used dill pickles (no bread and butter). I was also happy they used chips instead of spheres. I had the 5280 burger with an impossible patty. I have mixed feelings about this place. If you want a quiet experience this is not it. Also no meals come with sides everything is extra. Fries extra tator tots extra. Also an extra service charge is added. Servers are not personable only the bartender working. Pros lots of TVs and lot of choices and customizations. Even a separate ice cream parlor on site. I'm annoyed because our server never brought requested sauce and was not on top of refills: we consistently had to ask even when he stood right there. He was more interested in wiping tables next to us over and over. My bacon seemed raw and there was mustard on my plate, my glass and my burger . I said no mustard. I get that mistakes happen but we've been here now 4x total over the course of 1 year and each time has been just average. Also they will sneak in a 2% charge for the kitchen. This was a mediocre experience. We were a party of 6 and ordered several different burgers, nachos, truffle fries, and a lobster roll. We paid the extra money to upgrade the burgers to better beef and unfortunately, all of them were overcooked (we ordered medium, they came well done/no pink). The other disappointing dish was their Truffle Fries...none of us tasted any truffle. The winner by far was the Lobster Roll, surprisingly. The nachos were solid. Service was adequate. Great neighborhood joint! Their truffle fries are so good. It was also a lot and very shareable. They also have a good amount of outdoor seating. It just gets crowded quickly when it is a nice day. The staff were all still wearing masks, and the tables were spaced. The waitstaff is also pretty attentive. They never let your drink run out and follow through. They only thing missed was that I asked for a lettuce bun instead the brioche bun. I just didn't send it back because it was good. As weird as it may sound, their iced tea is good too. I received a door coupon at my home a few days ago stating they were offering buy one get one of equal or lesser value for dine-in. So my wife and I decided to go there for dinner last night. It's a Thursday night and they have the steak special, which looked nice - and I was really craving a lobster roll. So we asked if we buy the steak dinner (+/-$39) and a lobster roll, would the lobster roll be free? After watching the managers and owner discuss this conundrum for several minutes, the server comes back and says "no" we can't accommodate that. Umm, ok - so if I purchase 2 lobster rolls (actually spending about $14 dollars less on one of the entrees) - then I get a free lobster roll, but not if I spend $39 on a steak (which IS by the way considered an Entree) per the coupon. So we say ok - give us 2 lobster rolls. Owner stops by our table, introduces himself, asks where we live - my wife says just down the street. He says "Great" hope to see you again soon. Then we spend another $60 on drinks and some other small kid meals and ice cream. $145.12 tab. I'm still perplexed with their logic - they still ended up giving away a free lobster roll either way.......my family eats at Ted's a couple times a week - guess we will keep driving past 5280 Burger Bar in the future....and you won't be seeing us again soon. read more

We were not greeted initially when we walked in the door and stood there for a bit before getting seated, I felt like several workers looked at us as if noone ever walked in that late before. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. Our waitress was very informative and stopped by several times to fill our drinks and check to see how we were doing. The hubs and I met up with friends today. It was our first time in a restaurant since covid. All the staff were wearing masks and we sat at the front near two open doors so it felt pretty good.
