First, I will be a coming back as often as possible. It was just a really great place. The atmosphere was very nice, there was pleasing lighting for engaging conversation. The food was outstanding, we customized our pie and they made it to perfection. They also have a wonderful selection of brew and wine with a respectable happy hour. The waiter was amazing, fun, and helpful. He really cinched the entire place for us. Only down point was that the seating was a little closer than I would prefer. This is the place to get the best pizza within a 300 mile radius of Amarillo. Fresh toppings, hand made crust, and "cozy" atmosphere. We always order more than we can eat at one sitting so we can take some home to eat later. There isn't any other pizza in the area that comes even close to this good! read more

575 is by far the best place in town to get pizza!!! The vegetables are always so fresh and the pizza is cooked to perfection! The salads are amazing and they have a great selection of wine to choose from. Not to mention, I could consume the ranch dressing by the gallons. The wait can sometimes be too long but the food is worth it! The staff is so wonderful and they really seem to enjoy working there, which makes the experience that much better! We live near Kansas City and travel all around Oklahoma and west Texas; this is our FAVORITE pizza and we come here everytime we're in Amarillo. We even begin talking about it before we get there! The caesar salad is outstanding and the portion is very good; I could make a meal on the bread (pizza crust I suspect) that comes with it. The pizza is always great and the service is outstanding. My only gripe is that, with all the beers you sell, there is no NA beer. Please, please, please stock a small supply of NA beer; that would make the dining experience perfect! read more

This place is delicious, reasonable for the quality and quantity, the service is always good, the bar serves various kinds of beer and wine and did I mention this place has awesome Pizza? Brian the owner clearly knows what he is doing and once he has met you before he never hesitates to stop at your table and say hello when your eating. I have eaten 'Artisan' pizza all over Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma and I have never found a local pizza that has captured my heart and stomach so much. We love the Johnny Drama and the cheesy bread, but all the speciality pizzas are perfect combinations of flavor. The salads are always fresh and delicious. And though the calzones are not big on the menu, they are super filling and full of toppings(great for lunch time)! Enough cannot be said about this small hole in the wall in my opinion, we eat here every time we go back home. read more

I visit Amarillo often as my parents and two of my brothers live there. I love pizza and was so excited to try this place as we heard many good reviews. First we went as a family over a birthday: BAD- took forever to get the pizza, arrived with barely any sauce or toppings and slightly burned ( in addition to being pricey!). We thought maybe they couldn't handle a party of 10 very well. I decided to try again next visit and got it to go: BAD again! same experience with the quality of the product. Gave this a THIRD try as kept seeing the good reviews and love pizza: AGAIN it was the same thing: takes forever to get the pizza, barely any sauce or topping and slightly burned crust in addition to being pricey! Not sure if Amarillo so desperate for decent pizza this is as good as it gets for them? Do people just have lower standards in this city as no real competition? ( yes I realize people travel outside of Amarillo for business etc but when your rate a level 5 pizza a 10, then it doesn't take much to impress obviously). Good luck Amarillo. We will settle for frozen and spend the savings on a good bottle of wine or head to Pizza Hut!...and continue to share our experience with these guys with others! read more

After a long day driving, looking for some beer and pizza. Found 575 on Yelp. What a wonderful surprise, great thin crust brick oven pizzas, wonderful salads, we got the Greek, and an extensive list of beers, drafted, bottles, and wines. Everyone was getting the "cheese bread", small wedges of pizza toast , lots of cheese, and a side of marinara. Looked delicious and literally every table had an order. My husband & I went to this place on a Friday night @ 8:00 pm expecting to have to wait based on the reviews I had read, but were promptly seated at the bar. It is a tiny little place in a strip shopping center. There was no ambiance at all, so the food needed to be really good. It was pretty good, but not as good as it could have been. First we ordered the appetizer & salad special: garlic balls and the caprese salad. The garlic balls are a must. They were made of pizza dough rolled up in balls, baked to a perfect golden brown and were served up sitting in melted garlic butter with a side of garlic tomatoes for dipping. There were 3 in an order and definitely enough for two to share. The caprese salad was your standard : mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar; however, whereas the tomatoes typically are fresh ripe, & sliced in this type of salad, their tomatoes were whole. At first I was excited! I thought, "Wow, they brought out whole peeled tomatoes!!" then, I thought, "Wow, they brought out whole peeled canned tomatoes!!" I had to laugh. I pondered how I could ever have expected fresh tomatoes. After all, this is a West Texas town where if it's not deep fried or smothered in gravy, it comes from a can. Pizza was thin crust, brick oven style. Good, not great. If you're a sauce person, this may not be the pizza for you. The garlic balls are worth a return trip. Service was sufficient. read more
