    Strawberry Matcha
    Bianca V.

I was around the area looking for matcha and stumbled upon this cafe. The interior is cute with nice designs and decor. I ordered the strawberry matcha without taking a close look at the menu. It was around $13.95 so a bit steep for matcha. I asked for it sweet, but the sweetness level was very subtle. It tasted very watered down. I've had ceremonial grade matcha before, but this did not really taste like matcha at all. Plus whatever foam was on top melted very fast so you don't get as much drink. Wish I could have had time to take it back. Would not recommend the matcha

Quaint little cafe located on the first floor of 808 center. The decor is super cute but there's limited seating inside so it seems like a quick grab and go kind of lunch spot. There's a few tables outside as well but it's located right under the stairwell which gets a lot of foot traffic. They have a wide variety of sandwich wraps and smoothies but they're quite pricey. It was expected though since they use a lot of fresh ingredients. I ordered the turkey and egg wrap which I thought was quite filling for lunch. There was a hint of sauce that wasn't too overpowering and perfect for a healthy wrap. However, the smoothie I ordered was a bit watered down from all the ice but still tasted decent. There's valet parking located in the back of the building but we prefer the street parking in the neighborhoods or metered parking along the side of Walmart.

    Matcha banana pineapple smoothie

5ive Senses is a laid-back and aesthetic cafe with a lush design. Smoothies here are relatively costly. A matcha banana pineapple smoothie (16 oz.) cost me $13.95. The smoothie was tasty, and banana was the prominent flavor. It had a nice thickness that allowed me to drink slowly. The cashier made the smoothie and brought it to my table. I appreciated the relaxing ambience with slow music playing in the background. Inside, the booths had a lot of comfortable pillows. I also liked looking at the many decorative trinkets. Interestingly, when I paid with card, the point-of-sale system prompted me with many questions asking for identifying information about myself. I just put my name, which moved the payment process forward.

    Garlic Shrimp "Burger"
    Darren N.

Absolutely friendly and fast service. The garlic shrimp "burger" is actually on a croissant bread and cleanly made with as many shrimp as they could pack in. Unfortunately the cappuccino lacked foam and the acai bowl had very little acai on top of hard granola. Easy to reach on the groud floor of the building. You can find nearby street parking. The inside is a tight squeeze but nicely decorated and there's outdoor seating as well.

Really good and incredible customer service. They are truly so friendly and the place has a fun aesthetic. However, it's pricy for the fare. They do say they use organic ingredients, but I believe the egg and shrimp wrap was about $19 and it was rather small, it was lacking the sprouts that was listed on the menu, and it was slight on the protein. But boy, did I feel great after. Overall, delicious and super healthy, but pricey for size. I truly do appreciate fresh, organic vegetables but I know this menu exists other places and wondering how price compares.

Amazing matcha! So smooth. Probably the best I've had. Definitely a hidden gem, it's so cute in here and welcoming. Such an adorable spot. Very friendly and sweet staff too. Great experience!

    Acai Bowl (Regular Size)

Such a cute shop! The owners/employees are very helpful and kind. The menu is nice, a great variety and not too big. I got the Acai bowl and it was so refreshing.

    Umami egg dashimaki
    Nicole H.

Food is tasty and healthy, but pricey. I'd say portions are on the smaller side. I've had the turkey avo sandwich and the umami egg dashimaki, and both were good, and I felt good about eating them. However, the one time I got the dashimaki sandwich, I added avocado for $3 and probably will not do that again... The order comes with 4 little sandwiches, and the amount of avocado in each was sad...you can see for yourself in the photos...and all of them were like that... I'd get the sandwich again though! I think it had a mustardy spread. The chocolate banana nuts cake is really nice! Satisfied my sweet tooth, and I didn't feel guilty after. Would definitely get again. Like a flourless chocolate cake? Very chocolatey and dense.

Super cute little vegan cafe on Sheridan Street. The aesthetic is a vibe They have many coffee, matcha, and smoothie options. Got a 5 Senses hot coffee with vanilla and oat milk (~$8) and a veggie avocado sandwich (~$14). The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything was great! I'll have to try their egg sandos next time, one of their most popular items.

Came here in hopes of having a nice drink and maybe some lunch while I got some work done on my laptop. Come to find out they don't have wifi so I had to go somewhere else. So I've seen this place a few times on TikTok. I guess they cater to tourists though because I didn't see a single local person. Even the staff is all from Japan. They offer mostly fresh fruit juices and smoothies. They also have acai bowls. The drinks and bowls are very expensive. A banana smoothie will run you about $13. I found the inside to be cute at first, but while I was waiting for my drink, it just looked cluttered. They use a lot of fake flowers for decor and it makes me cringe thinking of all the dust that gets accumulated. I left disappointed. I wish there were more locally owned businesses in the area and businesses that catered to people who actually live here and need to get work done. Also I still have no idea where to park when I come to 808 Sheridan.

Landed upon this place by accident. I was driving by and the outside looks so cute and quaint. It was very welcoming to grab a coffee and breakfast. The staff is very friendly and the place is so cute to hang out or have a meeting.

5ive senses would always pop-up on my Yelp page and I finally had the chance to go! It's suuuper cute in here with places to take nice photos and hang out. What we ordered ~ **Acai & Berry Smoothie (8/10) ~ Really good and tastes super healthily! It's not overly sweet. The one thing is that it's very grainy so you may catch a few seeds in your mouth haha. But anyways really good! **Orange Juice with ginger (5/10) ~ I expected the orange juice to be slightly sweeter, but it did taste a little watered down. As for the add-on of the ginger you couldn't really taste it (which kind of sucked because I love ginger). Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back for the Acai & Berry smoothie! I would not recommend the orange juice.

Tasty umami egg dashimaki & refreshing detox smoothie.

Very courteous service. Tasty egg sandwich, though price is rather high due to better quality, healthy and organic ingredients. Validation for 30 mins of free parking (subject to change).

I ordered the 100% Kona coffee option and paid the additional charge for it, but the drink itself was poorly crafted. When I politely asked if it could be remade, the response was essentially that remaking it would not improve the quality of the drink. Rather than offering to remake or replace it, I was told I would need to pay the difference to order a different coffee--even though I had already paid a premium for the 100% Kona option. I understand that not every drink will turn out perfectly. What bothered me much more was how the situation was handled. A specialty coffee shop charging a premium for its coffee should be willing to stand behind the drink it serves and make a reasonable effort to correct something a customer is unhappy with. The combination of the poorly made drink and dismissive service made this a particularly disappointing visit.
