An absolutely fabulous restaurant! Great food and cocktails, good service but a bit noisy.

I hosted my sisters bridal shower here and I couldn't be any happier with the service that I received here! The oak room is so beautifully decorated that I didn't have to add much to my decorations for the party cause it already looks great. The staff, food, and drinks were amazing, my guests also enjoyed and mentioned how great it was. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to host a party or even just go out for dinner ! read more

Another wonderful experience at 618, this time to celebrate one of our children's 5th wedding anniversary. I am pointing that out because they did a nice job of making them feel special. Our server, Christine went above and beyond. There was a happy anniversary card on the table when we arrived and many other details throughout the evening including sparkler candles. Dinner and cocktails were all excellent. One of the stand outs was the Cacio e Pepe pasta. We loved the service the best, our wait staff Austin and Claudia were attentive and personable. We had surfing tips and beach advice before we left. The food is top notch . I had my birthday dinner here with my family and I was truly impressed. This is a great spot for special occasions or a nice date night. We shared a bunch of appetizers as a table, plus tried a variety of entrees. I particularly loved the lamb sliders, stuffed mushrooms, and my entree which was the braised beef short rib. Each dish was prepared fantastically and presented so beautifully. The warm sticky toffee cake was heaven sent and the best way to end the meal. It tasted like caramelized brown sugar and so moist and delicious. I absolutely loved this restaurant. The ambiance was very romantic yet cozy and the food was phenomenal. I went with a group of six for a birthday dinner and it was my first time. The restaurant is large and decorated beautifully. It has a bar area and I could see that there were some groups lingering over drinks at 11:00 at night when were done eating. The drinks were not as strong as I'd like but were tasty. The menu has something for everyone and perfect for groups. Apps were shareable, my favorite was the flatbread. Most of us ordered fish entrees. My halibut was cooked to perfection and had nice sides to compliment it. They allowed me to bring a birthday cake and they sliced it and served it to us. We celebrated my daughter and her husband's wedding at 618 Restaurant. We had a small gathering of eleven people. We wanted something simple yet elegant. The manager and staff made us feel like we had a full reception! The service was EXCELLENT. The food was INCREDIBLE. From the moment we entered the restaurant, they sat us and served champagne immediately. Two servers for the table. Our main server, Marc, was FANTASTIC! He was very attentive, engaging, friendly and on top of it. The manager checked our table multiple times. Everyone was so kind. Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS! At the end of the night, Marc surprised the entire table with Pistachio Martinis. He went out of his way to select a special imprint of a bride and groom with the wedding date on each martini. If you make the mistake of eating there, be prepared to not hear the people you are sitting with, or the wait staff. The noise level is deafening. Next, while your there, check the bill for overcharges. We sent our check back twice to be corrected, they apologized for their mistakes, and this morning I check my Amex account and again they put thru an incorrect charge. When I called they said it was a credit card fee! That's NOT THE TRUTH. The bill was about $322, we said we would split it 3 ways totaling $130 each for a total of $390 including fees and tip, Yet after signing for my total of $130, they put it through for a higher amount. Second time there. Our first trip was the night before the whole world shut down for the pandemic. The only negative was valet parking. No need. The lot is small enough. The food was fantastic. We had seven apps, we had seabass, pasta, steaks and everybody loved the meal. We celebrated our 56th anniversary at 618, our favorite restaurant for special occasions. Austin was our waiter, and so charming, entertaining, and delightful we asked him to come live with us, but alas, he declined. He did a great job reciting the specials. I asked him how he could memorize so much. He said he did not memorize, he actually ate the dishes, and he was just recalling the flavors and textures as he experienced them. We ordered Cajun BBQ shrimp and skirt steak. Both were excellent and generous portions. Then he brought us dessert gratis as a nice anniversary surprise in addition to mocktails served on a platter that wished us a happy anniversary. 618 goes out of their way to make dinner fun and special. The vibe is happiness and joy. Easy to tell everyone around us was having as much fun as we were. People at adjacent tables actually spoke to each other. And the decor is gorgeous! Just had our first dinner at 618. From the moment we walked through the door until we left, the experience was phenomenal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, casual elegance. Tim was our amazing server, very accommodating and attentive. His knowledge and suggestions helped us make our selections. The menu has a nice amount of choices and offers something for everyone, young, old or picky. One of the managers, Alessandro, stopped by our table, making sure everything was to our satisfaction, truly interested in us and what brought us to 618. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The small gestures like having placed a rose and a card on our table, wishing us a Happy Anniversary as well as the wishes from each staff member who interacted with us, were so thoughtful and made us feel very special. I absolutely love this place the drinks are amazing and the Decour was so beautiful our host Corinne was an absolute angel! We were greeted with a bottle of love potion number nine, with sparkling green edible glitter and aloe liquor Yum! my friend and I then shared the crabcakes which were to die for all real crab you could tell. Then I had the ice scream you scream, Totally fun drink with the bubble gun. All of the drinks tasted incredible. Oh my friend had the skirt steak, and I had the meatballs. This place was one of my favorites in New Jersey this year ! I came here one Thursday for my friend's birthday dinner and had such a great time. To start, the inside of the restaurant is so beautiful. You enter through this closed off entryway or hallway that is decorated in florals and a beautiful neon sign. There is also a mirror where I spent most of my time taking pictures waiting for my friends to arrive. The restaurant is very big with different rooms for dinner. The one dinning room we sat in had this beautiful lit up tree which was the focal point of one of their dinning room. This dinning room was also filled with chandeliers and florals everywhere which made me feel like I was in a fairy garden or something; it was so beautiful. With a place this beautiful, I only expected amazing food and drinks and 618 did not disappoint. Everything I ordered came with an experience. I ordered the Libra cocktail where the waiter used a bubble gun to add the smokey bubble on top of my drink. Once popped, the bubble added aromatics, enhancing the taste and sensory experience of the cocktail. For appetizers we started with the crab cakes which were so good and paired perfectly with the remoulade sauce. For my entree I ordered the Malfadine Cacio e Pepe with White Truffle. This was everything ! And the presentation was immaculate. This entree was brought out by the chef who shaved the fresh white truffle on my pasta in front of me. This pasta reminded me of the Truffle pasta I had in London at one of the Big Mama Group restaurants, Ave Mario. I was obsessed with it in London and now Im happy I know where to find the same thing in the States. For dessert , we had expresso martinis and of course it was amazing. This was the perfect way to end the night. I honestly can't wait to come back here. It was more of an experience than just dinner. So I would recommend this place for ANY special occasion or even just dinner if you got it like that $$$. read more

I got the short rib ravioli, 10/10 and we shared the pistachio olive oil cake-probably one of my favorite desserts. It was so light and airy while hitting many flavor profiles. My family and I tried this restaurant for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. When we got there, we were impressed with the place. It had very nice, classy, yet casual and cozy atmosphere. We were promptly seated by the receptionist. At our table, we saw their anniversary setup for us. They gave us two complimentary glasses of champagne. It set the mood of the night right away. Our server, Bobby, was very attentive and gave great suggestions for food and drinks. The dishes we ordered were spot on! Every one of them was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs. They were very tender and very tasty. My wife had the Cacio E Pepe pasta with Chicken. That was very satisfying. My daughter, who is very picky, finished her Skirt Steak. My two sons' dishes were equally delicious. For dessert, we shared the Chunky Monkey Brownie Sundae. The kids were fighting over it. LOL! What a beautiful place and delicious food! Wanted to take my sister for lunch somewhere and she always wanted to try it here. We had the espresso martini, spicy boi, wine and lychee martini. All delicious. We had a hard time deciding on apps because everything sounded so damn delicious it was hard to choose! We wanted to eat everything. We decided on the 618 Experience with absolutely no regrets and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The place was gorgeous and we could see a reception was being held there in one of their rooms. Let us not forget that everything was explained in complete detail by Joe N. He always checked on us and was very kind. We appreciated that so much. The service overall was excellent, including Serena and the manager who would stop by to check on us. Friendly and caring service was the cherry on top. My second time back here. Parking can be a little though depending how crowded it is but I was please to see they had complementary valet parking, which I gladly took.
