    I've been coming with the clinic's dentist Dr. Wang for about a decade now & he's always performed great work for all my family and I. Jenny, his assistant, is very helpful when answering any questions or concerns from the patient. They're very gentle with the patients' mouths. I would highly recommend this dentist office to everyone. Also, lots of nearby parking available in this shopping center. Dr. Wang is very patient & informative when answering my questions & teaches me oral hygiene such as how to brush teeth & floss properly. Thanks for taking care of my teeth! I appreciate the entire 626 Dental Care Office.

    Horrible service! I will never come back here. I brought elderly mother to this dental office hoping to have a good experience but unfortunately it was the complete opposite. My mother had crown and a bridge sent out for resizing. When she returned to have the bridge placed back on the dentist struggled for hours to insert the bridge. Not only was she uncomfortable for several hours but he cut her tongue in the process!!! I should've canceled her appointment when they refused to give me a break down of the cost and dental work my mother needed. Patients have the right to ask their doctors for their medical records. Please do your due diligence before coming here.

    All the staff members are very nice and friendly, even Dr. Wang himself. They all give good quality care for their patients. Cynthia is good at taking care of our appointments so we never really had a problem with that. The office is neat and tidy. My 6yr old daughter enjoys coming over all the time. She's not scared at all and she can't wait for her next dental appointment. It's a great go-to family dentist within our neighborhood and I am so glad I found them.

I opened the Delta Dental app and tried to show the receptioist the blurb where it clearly states that I do not need an ID card. I just wasted a day and I am still in extreem pain. I will post a picture of the screen shot I took where it clearly states, that I do not need an ID. Also, for clarification. This took place at Dr. Tessie T Sy, DDS office in El Monte, Ca 91732. If it were possible, I would give them a zero. Finally, I hope the receptionist states that I am lying and generates camara footage. I was not rude, use bad language, nor was I loud. I did however state that I was extreemly upset and that I would post a bad review.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experiences at this dental office and feel the need to warn others. The employee who worked on me, Luis, was very rude and unprofessional. From the moment he started, his attitude made me uncomfortable, and the way he handled the tools felt careless and rough. He hurt me multiple times during the visit and was not gentle at all, even when I clearly showed I was in pain and uncomfortable. What bothered me most is that this is not a one-time issue. I've had problems here before, and each visit seems to be worse than the last. This time, the experience crossed a line. The way Luis behaved made me feel unsafe as a patient. His actions didn't feel careful or patient-focused, and I left feeling stressed, sore, and upset. There were also moments that made me question whether proper dental safety and regulations were being followed. Basic professionalism, hygiene, and patient care should be non-negotiable in a dental office, and I didn't feel those standards were met during my visit. Going to the dentist is already stressful for many people, and patients deserve to feel respected, safe, and cared for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. After dealing with repeated issues and leaving in pain, I won't be returning. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their training and oversight, because patients should never feel uncomfortable or mistreated in a medical setting.

Clear communication is essential, especially regarding insurance acceptance, appointment reminders, and authorizations. In this case, communication fell short. Patients should not have to chase information that directly impacts whether they can receive care or whether an appointment is even valid. I recently followed up regarding services and an authorization that I learned had been approved over a year ago but was never communicated to me. Had I been informed, I would have returned the call immediately. Being told that voicemails were left--without any awareness of this approval--was frustrating and felt dismissive, particularly when I am proactive about managing my healthcare. During my follow-up call, I experienced interruptions and an unprofessional tone. In healthcare, listening and acknowledgment are not optional; they are foundational to patient care. Even when staff may disagree with a concern, patients deserve to be heard and spoken to respectfully. I understand that healthcare is demanding, but professionalism and empathy are non-negotiable in this field. Poor communication and dismissive interactions erode patient trust and disproportionately affect patients who may have language barriers or limited understanding of insurance systems. Overall, the level of care and communication I once valued here has noticeably declined. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve patient interactions, communication practices, and overall standards of care. At this point, I'll be doing what many patients likely do when trust and communication break down, seeking care elsewhere.
