The cafe had a clean interior with a cute, chill ambiance. Service was decent, as staff was quick making our order. We ordered a match mango latte, egg yolk coffee and a matcha tiramisu. matcha mango latte - was good. definitely had more of a mango taste compared to matcha. moreover, was more on the milky side. egg yolk coffee - decent coffee. only slight egg yolk taste. matcha tiramisu - overall had a good, rich matcha taste but was slightly dry

Ambient music greets guests into a cute cafe with a modern Asian to Vietnamese setting. From the lantern lights to bamboo and Vietnamese coffees, this relaxing vibe invites everyone to stay and enjoy a cup. Since we came later, we tried a pineapple grass jelly with basil seeds drink and coconut water with palm seeds. These were light and refreshing with copious toppings. Nice for a midday pick up. I took a strawberry croissant out, which had what tasted like strawberry cream cheese on top. It was alright but I would love to try a plain or almond croissant next time. I also tried a Vietnamese yogurt with matcha cream topping to wake up a bit in an afternoon slump. I always enjoy Viet yogurt and was surprised about the toppings option. Tasty! Overall this is a great cafe for drinks and snacks!

What I got: Popcorn Chicken Pork Bahn Mi Coconut Cream Bun Mango Matcha Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Mango Yogurt I love how this place gave very good strong coffee! My favorite one is the 68th special Vietnamese coffee it's sooo good! All the drinks were aesthetically pleasing and yummy! The snacks are super tasty as well. The bahn mi is my favorite, the pork flavor brings out the best with the crispy bread. Also don't forgot to stop by and get their pastries! I tried the coconut cream bun it's soo cute and delicious! There's plenty of seating inside, servers are very nice and helpful. I will definitely comeback to hang out here and grab some lattes and snacks.

I tried this place for lunch as I was craving for a bahn mi sandwich. I ordered two pastries, a pork bahn mi sandwich, fish sauce wings and the netted spring rolls. I've had a lot of Vietnamese dishes and unfortunately this did not hit the spot for me. The dishes are very affordable but it's also because the serving sizes are just the perfect size for the cost. It was noon-lunchtime when I came so there was a bit of a wait (about 15 mins). The cafe had a few small tables-I had to do take out. I noticed they also do drinks-I didn't order any this time around.

I was so excited to try this place when I saw it on insta and it lived up to the hype! My friend and I came on a rainy Saturday. They had a special, buy 3 get one free so my friend and I each ordered 2 pastries, and a Vietnamese coffee. I got the Oreo cream croissant ($2.75) and strawberry matcha ($2.75). They were so cute and insta worthy. The dough was flaky and the topping had the right amount of sweetness. My friend got pigs in a blanket and pain au chocolate that he completely devoured them. I love that the prices for the pastries are super reasonable. They also had almond cookies for us to sample, and those were crunchy and good. I'll definitely buy these next time. This spot is a small mom and pop place, and the service was sooo nice and friendly. While there is limited seating, we were able to grab a bench. This might be my new favorite bakery. There was plenty of parking in this plaza.

Stopped in on Saturday for their grand opening to try their BOGO but turns out they listed Saturday March 27th but meant Friday, March 27th so they weren't honoring it, even though the sign was still out and I told them the flyer indicating Saturday. She asked to see the flyer but they still didn't honor it. Lol so that was a bummer on customer service. A staff was helpful with suggestions on drinks. The kiosk only listed an egg coffee with caramel, but I wanted the classic so she rung it up on her end so know there are more drink options that might not be listed on the kiosk. It's definitely a new spot still figuring it out, but the staff seemed friendly. I didn't enjoy my drink. I was expecting strong Viet coffee but it was light in coffee and quite sweet for my preference. I hope they do well but based on my first experience I was quite disappointed esp for the price, the drink should match. Plenty of parking, spacious shop that offers indoor and outdoor seating.

Shop is clean and well kept and the service is as friendly upon entering. Ordered the special coffee and 2 croissants. The cream on the croissants was a little sweet but if we switched to black coffee it would've been perfect. It was also a little crispy which balanced well with the cream. Can't wait to try other things from here.

Came in here after a pedicure two doors down. I was looking for a banh mi and this was close so it made perfect sense. I did get the chicken banh mi which came out to be $4 very inexpensive so for what it's worth, it was worth it. Will I go there for a banh mi again? No. Although I will DEFINITELY come back around for their pastries. I got my daughter an Oreo croissant which I almost couldn't put down! lol she was not happy but I had to taste for the review. I'm not much of an Oreo gal but oh man were these things good. I also got a bacon and cheese pastry for my friend I was meeting and she loved it! The prices are very fair which I appreciate because it allows me to not be afraid to try new things. I went in and it was not busy at all. The staff was a younger girl who knew the menu well and it is nicely decorated inside and was very clean.

Service is great here. Everyone seems vested in service. They gave recommendations that turned out to be winners. Did you just switch macha vendors. Don't know the difference. But this one was really good. The egg foam coffee is also a winner, though. With the ice a bit small, that is low liquid volume but tasty and smooth and sweet. The dough used to make the pastries is also flaky, sweet, buttery and very good. It's nice that they have tables outside and nice tables inside. Only opportunity I see is that they could make behind the counter, look a little bit better. And also plug in the t v. Great spot.

I got the strawberry croissant, Oreo croissant, fried chicken and garlic roll. I would definitely get the fried chicken and garlic roll again. The croissant were great but just filling on the top recommend trying!

I found this place on TikTok after someone posted about it, and to my surprise, it's right down the street from our house. I stopped by around lunchtime and it was a bit quiet, but honestly I was just excited to have an Asian bakery nearby in Natomas. The shop seems like it's still finding its footing, so the ambiance is okay for now. They have two display areas--one near the entrance with pastries and another with almond cookies. One thing I'd really recommend is adding labels with the names of each pastry. I had a hard time hearing the staff member explain the different croissants, so it made ordering a little confusing. I was told there was a buy-one-get-one deal, so I ended up getting four pastries, but I think I was charged for three? I wasn't totally sure, so I just went with it. Pricing overall was pretty reasonable though. I tried the chocolate, matcha cream, ham and cheese, and bacon and cheese croissants. They were all flaky, fresh, and really tasty--you can definitely tell they're homemade. Service was okay, and overall I'd be willing to give this place another shot. I'd come back to try it again, maybe with a coffee next time.

First time here. Only ordered drinks. They have non dairy options which is nice. Friendly staff. Cute and clean inside. I Ordered the Special Vietnamese Coffee- it was tasty, I would order again. My friend ordered the egg coffee and said it wasn't that strong. They also sell pastries.

I ordered the taro latte with pudding, mango coconut pudding, spicy crab, and tator tots. Taro latte was 70% sweetness and was still kinda sweet. That was on me though. I typically order 50% sweet but this was my first time here so I only went slightly less sweet than the base. The mango coconut pudding was really good but also slightly sweet for me. The spicy crab rice ball was delicious. It was hot when it came out and didn't have too much mayo. The tater tots were super hot and crunchy. Not too salty either. The place is called Tomo Tea House on N Freeway Blvd in Natomas. Their parking situation is pretty good as they have a huge lot that they share with many other popular businesses. It's the cutest little shop and they have the cutest interior with a few tables inside for customers. They have a kiosk one can order from but I ordered at the regular cashier. They have a pretty good display case which features many of their mochi donuts available that day. This particular visit was kind of unique in that I went there towards the end of business day,so I was able to pick up six donuts for only $1 each,so I ended up getting a lot more donuts than usual. I can 100% say that after eating all six donuts they do make a quality mochi donut and they really nailed the proper texture and sweetness level. Let's rank the donuts I picked up that day. 1. Chocolate With Fruity Pebbles-5/5-I really enjoyed the over the top sweetness of the toppings with the subdued sweetness of the donut. 2. Cookies N Cream-4/5-Im a pretty big fan of Cookies n Cream so this flavor combo really worked. 3. Churro-3.75/5-i think they pulled off the churro flavor pretty well and I really enjoyed this donut. 4. Funnel Cake-2.5/5- I'm not the biggest fan of Funnel Cake,so I'm probably the wrong audience but yeah just didn't enjoy it too much. 5. Ube-1.5/5- like the funnel cake, not a massive fan of Ube flavor so this flavor profile didn't work for me-sadly I had two of these. Overall I really enjoyed my visit to this shop and they currently are my go-to spot for mochi donuts in the Natomas area. They have a really high quality product here.

The dimly lit space with music playing definitely gave night lounge vibes. We each ordered from the kiosk and received our drinks with a short turnaround. Call me old fashioned, but the process of ordering from a kiosk without an employee present then grabbing my drink that was left on the counter takes away any customer service worth a tip. It's annoying when the tipping screen pops up after placing my order. Sure, the drink came out timely, but we were the only ones ordering in the shop at the time and the tipping screen pops up before my drink comes out. Due to the late hour, I opted to get a non-caffeinated drink. I got the Mango Cloud, 50% sweet with brown sugar boba. The boba was still warm and had a nice chew to it. I particularly like the mango bits.

The Americano here is easily the best I've had--bold, full of flavor, and not watered down like you get at a lot of bigger chain spots. You can tell it's made with intention. It actually tastes like coffee is supposed to taste. The pastries were just as impressive. The Biscoff cheesecake was rich and balanced without being overly heavy, with that warm, caramelized flavor that really stands out. The blueberry muffin tasted fresh and real--not overly sweet, just done right. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone. The music is calm and relaxing, the chairs are genuinely comfortable (not the typical stiff coffee shop seating), and the entire space feels less like a business and more like sitting in a welcoming home--a nice home where you actually want to stay awhile. But what really sets this place apart is the experience. Abdul didn't just take our order-- he genuinely engaged with us. He was friendly, thoughtful, and took the time to explain the concept behind the space, including how it connects to the location and atmosphere. That kind of interaction is rare, and it completely changed the tone of the visit. This isn't a place you rush in and out of. It feels built for conversation--for sitting down, slowing down, and actually connecting with the people you're with. It's a refreshing change from the typical coffee chain experience where everything feels standardized and transactional. Another standout is that the menu is halal, which makes this an easy and welcoming choice for anyone looking for halal options without having to second guess what they're ordering. If you're looking for more than just caffeine--if you want a place that values community, comfort, and real human connection--this is absolutely worth your time. This place reminded me what a coffee shop is supposed to be.
