My friend wanted to try a bistro/French inspired brunch place. When we got here and walked inside, the interior was pretty and it has plenty of seating but we were the only ones there. They serve a few breakfast sandwiches, a bunch of what appeared to be premade pastries, and coffee or tea. The guy behind the counter seemed sort of standoffish. I ended up ordering a bacon cheddar egg croissant and my friend got the same plus a coffee. The food came out fast and it was hot but it wasn't really that flavorful. The bacon was rubbery, the egg was oily and unfortunately it didn't feel worth the price. It left a lot to be desired and I told my friend I don't think I will ever come back to this place. There's literally a Starbucks right across the street that's serving the same sandwich and drinks for a fraction of the price and the customer service is a lot friendlier.

Looks like you can get a hot coffee for a decent price, but I don't drink coffee. I was expecting French staff with the name of the cafe but was disappointed looking forward to maybe practicing my French. I tried a bite of the raspberry cheesecake and one of a tart. The tart crust was crumbly and the cheesecake was a bit rubbery for my taste. The inside of the cafe seemed clean. There was only one other person inside possibly because so many things were sold out and or maybe they were about to close. I would have to try some other pens to give a fair opinion.

Not sure how long this place has been opened, but it replaced the old subway. It had a very nice ambiance/aesthetic but the staff was so cold.no questions asked other than what can i get you. Not greeted either. When my order was ready it was just placed there and Idk how long it was sitting there before i noticed. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious and not your average croissant. It's not fresh but certainly good. I don't think I'd come back for the matcha but i would try their lattes. Heads up they don't have decaf

Highly rated bakery/cafe. The shop is new and clean a big plus for S. Natomas location. The cases are pretty bare so don't expect to see overflowing pastries. The cakes looked delicious though. I had a horchata cold brew and a bacon egg cheese croissant the total was $16 before tip which is darn pricey. The good news is the croissant was delicious and the coffee was good too. Customer service was lacking the gentleman who took are order didn't greet, thank or even smile at us. A Second Gentleman who came from the back likely the owner was more cordial. He asked if I needed help but I was looking over the menu boards and had already ordered. So this is a tough call food and drinks were good. However everything is expensive. A tiny Apple turnover is $2.99 and some pastries are $6.39. Mixed customer service didn't help deflect the prices either. Definitely worth trying but not likely a regular stop.

Captivating video, daydreaming as I heard melodic music and waited for my drink.

First time visitor. The place is nice with comfortable and modern sitting. The decor is nice and atmosphere is soothing. When we came there was only one person serving and cashiering. A group had just left and my husband and I were only ones there. The order process was a little slow but understandably since only one person manning the cafe, but my chai latte was very good, I also ordered an egg sandwich on croissant bread and added jalapeños, tomato and cucumbers, good breakfast. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, said it was good but didn't look like the one on the menu board. Going back to my chair it was perfect, not too sweet but sweet enough. Hopefully they get enough clientele to hire a second person. Overall order was a bit pricey but my chai was worth it. I love hot chai tea. Overall nice cafe for catching up with friends or getting some work done on computer but didn't see wifi availability.

    Pistachio latte

The best pistachio latte I've had so far! Not overly sweet, perfect coffee to pistachio ratio. The worker was kind and helpful. Perfect place to study and do work because it's so clean and cute! I went during a weekday and it was super empty, but I think it's because it's a hidden gem! The vibes inside are sooo different than the outside lol. Definitely give it a try.

This is their "strawberry matcha" Do not come here expecting good matcha... or authentic matcha.

This is their "strawberry matcha" do not come here for good or authentic matcha... the place was adorable though and their pastries looked good. (Emphasis on the looked)

Tiramisu on top shelf, pistachio cake and rose cake.

Great find when I was craving a little pick-me-up doing errands. Nice, bright, clean spacious interior. Gracious, helpful service. I had a slice of delicious pistachio cake and freshly made iced tea. They have a nice assortment of baked goods and desserts in the cases and sandwiches made to order, plus lots of drink choices. I only wish I didn't live across town so I could come in more often.

Pleasantly surprised to have found this new cafe in Natomas! The aesthetic is clean, bright, and minimal and had low jazz classical music playing to add to the ambience. They offer the standard coffee and tea menu (latte, espresso, chai) including special matcha and cold brew drinks as well as breakfast sandwiches (which you can customize) and desserts. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and the horchata cold brew. I loved my coffee; not artificial tasting or bland. The sandwich was a little small but definitely comforting and delicious. I took four desserts home (Dubai Chocolate Cookie, Tres Leches Cake, Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, and Strawberry Cheese Turnover) and they are great too! Pricing is average to cafes like these. I'm looking forward to visiting again! Staff were attentive, welcoming, and friendly, thanking me and a previous patron for stopping by. When I asked when they opened they mentioned they just opened a few months ago. Definitely worth checking out!

We came here for a quick coffee/food run and I can definitely assure you that it was NOT quick. We were waiting for about 30/45 mins and it wasn't even busy. There was 1 worker doing everything. There needs to be at least 2/3 employees running this place. The worker was touching the register and making the food all with the same gloves. Aside from the long wait time we ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. The matcha was not good so I had to get a refund on it and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant and received it without the bacon. Very unfortunate. Also, when I used the restroom there was toothpaste, face wash, brushes etc. as if someone is living there. Not sure how safe or clean that is for the business.

I found Maestro after a Google Maps search, and chose to try them based on their solid reviews and uniqueness! I was not prepared for this level of pizazz!!! I ended up finding their take on my favorite coffee drink (Kerouac), and I was able to order it large - score!! It was muy, muy delicioso until the very last drop. On top of that, being very hungry and wanting breakfast, I was recommended a lovely turkey or ham croissant - and when additions were suggested, I just asked for eeeeeeverything (bacon, avocado, etc.). And guess what? That breakfast sando was eeeeeeverything!!! It blew my mind!! My neck was sore after all was said and done, because I kept shaking my head in disbelief, saying to myself things like "aww man this is GOOD" and "mmmMMM"!! Anyway, on top of this, the kind and happy folks making the magic happen behind the counter were fun, efficient, and receptive to me projecting all of my enthusiasm their way, haha. And yes the joint itself looks very nice and has ample seating, despite the narrow space. This place deserves all the love, all the attention, and all of the business!! Indeed, I had an amazing first experience - and it was no surprise that they had a line out the door. Thank you, Maestro for an unforgettable experience. I know where my new favorite coffee/breakfast place is!!! ^_^

I ordered the taro latte with pudding, mango coconut pudding, spicy crab, and tator tots. Taro latte was 70% sweetness and was still kinda sweet. That was on me though. The spicy crab rice ball was delicious. It was hot when it came out and didn't have too much mayo. The tater tots were super hot and crunchy. Not too salty either. Definitely coming back to this location!

We especially excited to try the instant ramen maker. We walked in and ordered in the kiosk. The menu had different teas, mochi donuts, dumplings, corndogs, and other snacks. However, after ordering we noticed the ramen wasn't on there. We asked the staff and they said the ramen maker wasn't working so that was disappointing. They were also out of something I ordered and they were able to refund me. The drinks and food took a bit to come out. The wonton and dumplings were ok, but the soup it came in was pretty good. The taro drink and mochi dog we got were good. Inside was very picturesque with a good amount of seating. The ramen wall was impressive and had a good selection. It served more for a decoration that day than for eating. But we loved the cute tree and floral wall. They also had some games for you to play with while waiting. Overall everything was ok but maybe we'll be back to give it another try.

Parking can be a little tricky, but I managed to find a spot on the street out front. This is definitely more the sort of place that you would want to walk to if you lived in the neighborhood rather than try to drive over and fight for parking. I decided to order an iced oat milk Matcha latte with some of their vanilla sweetener, as well as a chocolate chip cookie and a biscuit breakfast sandwich. The Matcha latte was smooth and creamy with the perfect level of sweetness. The chocolate chip cookie was a nice little splurge, and I appreciated the sea salt on top to balance out the sweetness. The biscuit breakfast sandwich was tremendous! The biscuit was warm and flaky, but held up to the sausage and egg. The egg was cooked to a perfect runny texture, and I appreciated the chimichurri sauce. It definitely was filling and satisfied my savory breakfast craving. I understand the hype and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered, but I don't know if I would stand in line for an extended period of time.
