Decided to try this place after my dad mentioned to me they had opened a new café in our area. Service was polite and friendly. I ordered a veggie sandwich which was filled with fresh veggies and my choice of sauce. My dad ordered a biscoff cheescake. In addition, we both ordered hot drinks (white chocolate mocha and regular mocha). Both delicious, and not sweet (which we prefer). I recommend asking for added sweetness if you prefer sweeter drinks. The setting was nice and calm as well, we will definitely be returning! Come support small and new local business! read more

Maybe it was just my timing? I went in about 11 am and the shelves were bare! It as a Monday. The minimal things that were on the shelf looked u see cooked. Not a single item looked even a slight of tan. I did end up getting my daughter a chocolate macaron. I usually try things I get for my kids but didn't so I can't really rate the actual dessert. The customer service was absolutely non existent. No greeting even though we were the only ones there or that walked in however, it did look clean. read more

My friend wanted to try a bistro/French inspired brunch place. When we got here and walked inside, the interior was pretty and it has plenty of seating but we were the only ones there. They serve a few breakfast sandwiches, a bunch of what appeared to be premade pastries, and coffee or tea. The guy behind the counter seemed sort of standoffish. I ended up ordering a bacon cheddar egg croissant and my friend got the same plus a coffee. The food came out fast and it was hot but it wasn't really that flavorful. The bacon was rubbery, the egg was oily and unfortunately it didn't feel worth the price. It left a lot to be desired and I told my friend I don't think I will ever come back to this place. There's literally a Starbucks right across the street that's serving the same sandwich and drinks for a fraction of the price and the customer service is a lot friendlier. read more

Looks like you can get a hot coffee for a decent price, but I don't drink coffee. I was expecting French staff with the name of the cafe but was disappointed looking forward to maybe practicing my French. I tried a bite of the raspberry cheesecake and one of a tart. The tart crust was crumbly and the cheesecake was a bit rubbery for my taste. The inside of the cafe seemed clean. There was only one other person inside possibly because so many things were sold out and or maybe they were about to close. I would have to try some other pens to give a fair opinion. read more

Not sure how long this place has been opened, but it replaced the old subway. It had a very nice ambiance/aesthetic but the staff was so cold.no questions asked other than what can i get you. Not greeted either. When my order was ready it was just placed there and Idk how long it was sitting there before i noticed. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious and not your average croissant. Highly rated bakery/cafe. The shop is new and clean a big plus for S. Natomas location. The cases are pretty bare so don't expect to see overflowing pastries. The cakes looked delicious though. I had a horchata cold brew and a bacon egg cheese croissant the total was $16 before tip which is darn pricey. The good news is the croissant was delicious and the coffee was good too. Customer service was lacking the gentleman who took are order didn't greet, thank or even smile at us. A Second Gentleman who came from the back likely the owner was more cordial. He asked if I needed help but I was looking over the menu boards and had already ordered. So this is a tough call food and drinks were good. However everything is expensive. A tiny Apple turnover is $2.99 and some pastries are $6.39. Mixed customer service didn't help deflect the prices either. Definitely worth trying but not likely a regular stop. read more

Very nice coffee house in a coffee house desert. Great addition to the North Natomas area. Hubby ordered a hot latte and I ordered an iced latte. Both were DELICIOUS! They did have Splenda and other alternative sweeteners and creamers, but didn't have raw sugar. Owner/host seemed opened to having in the future. Said owner/host was very friendly and service was quick and efficient. Coffee was a bit pricey, but since it tasted so good, we felt it was worth it. The shop is clean and inviting. Something we don't often find with the Starbucks in the area. Unfortunately, it was a bit empty (for a weekday morning) but it was still early. Hopefully, they will get more business as word gets out. I really hope they stay around. Next trip, we will definitely try some of their pastries and/or sandwiches. First time visitor. The place is nice with comfortable and modern sitting. The decor is nice and atmosphere is soothing. When we came there was only one person serving and cashiering. A group had just left and my husband and I were only ones there. The order process was a little slow but understandably since only one person manning the cafe, but my chai latte was very good, I also ordered an egg sandwich on croissant bread and added jalapeños, tomato and cucumbers, good breakfast. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, said it was good but didn't look like the one on the menu board. Going back to my chair it was perfect, not too sweet but sweet enough. Hopefully they get enough clientele to hire a second person. Overall order was a bit pricey but my chai was worth it. I love hot chai tea. My husband and I tried the Pistachio Latte and Horchata Cold Brew. We could not pass up the Dubai cookies and pistachio cheesecake, so of course we did a last minute add to the order. I loved that my pistachio latte still tastes like coffee, and the pistachio didn't taste artificial. The horchata was good too, but my husband prefers a little more coffee taste. I searched this place out to try. Very difficult location, sparce and not very inviting. They warmed up my pastry order and placed it the bag. Not wrapped or anything, just pastry in a bag.... So the oil from the pastry came through the cheap paper bag on to the papers I set it on in my car. The latte seeped through the cheap paper cup into my cup holder on the 10 minutes it took me to drive home. Pleasantly surprised to have found this new cafe in Natomas! The aesthetic is clean, bright, and minimal and had low jazz classical music playing to add to the ambience. They offer the standard coffee and tea menu (latte, espresso, chai) including special matcha and cold brew drinks as well as breakfast sandwiches (which you can customize) and desserts. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and the horchata cold brew. I loved my coffee; not artificial tasting or bland. The sandwich was a little small but definitely comforting and delicious. I took four desserts home (Dubai Chocolate Cookie, Tres Leches Cake, Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, and Strawberry Cheese Turnover) and they are great too! Pricing is average to cafes like these. We came here for a quick coffee/food run and I can definitely assure you that it was NOT quick. We were waiting for about 30/45 mins and it wasn't even busy. There was 1 worker doing everything. There needs to be at least 2/3 employees running this place. The worker was touching the register and making the food all with the same gloves. Aside from the long wait time we ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. The matcha was not good so I had to get a refund on it and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant and received it without the bacon. Very unfortunate. Also, when I used the restroom there was toothpaste, face wash, brushes etc. as if someone is living there. Not sure how safe or clean that is for the business. read more
