House salted white mocha with almond milk and quesadilla
    Becca D.

Sweet service, nicely decorated, and delicious treats/coffee! Stopped by on a Friday mid-morning. Got the salted white mocha and a quesadilla. The drink was delicious and the cold foam was thick! The quesadilla was a nice treat just the right mix of salty sweet. The owner was taking orders and she was so friendly! This is a nice place to chill, study, or catch up with friends. Highly recommend!

This relaxing coffee shop is located off of the main streets is one of the best spots I have been to anywhere for a noce relaxing cup of coffee. And the coffee is amazing, probably the best i have had. They have one of the most relaxing spaces in the business with books, games, flowers, indoor, outdoor, food, baked goods, and the best garlic cross rolls I habe ever had. The people working here on both my visits were also very accommodating, friendly, and attentive.

Super cute coffee shop around the corner from Roc & Sol Diner that I knew I had to check out! It is located on 11th and S Street in Midtown. The inside was so cozy and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and personable. They also gave great recommendations! I ordered a hot Salted White Mocha to go plus a berry pastry and a Alfajor. The coffee was really good and warmed me up nicely. The pastries were also very good - my husband and daughter loved the berry pastry! They make their own syrups in house like raspberry, lavender and even pistachio! They offer rotating pastries plus cookies, quesadillas, and even pressed ciabatta sandwiches! Overall, I really liked the vibe of Casa Flores Cafe. It was homey and comforting. I also liked seeing the little library outside plus the fresh flowers for sale! Do yourself a favor and give them a visit! I will be back soon!

Casa Flores 5/5 A super cute little coffee shop that's opened on S Street in downtown. There are a lot of 2 hour free parking spots nearby. This place is so cozy - it really feels like an adorable neighborhood establishment. There are flowers outside to make your own bouquet and a little library so you can borrow books! I love the maximalist décor on the walls and the eclectic mish-mash of seating options. The unique offerings here are the alfajores and the Salvadorian quesadillas. There is also a small menu of drink options. I tried the Cacao Salted Brulee which was excellent. Deep, complex flavors, with that hint of sweetness that I like. This would be a great place to come and study or meet up with a friend or two. The staff were polite and helpful.

Stopped by this cozy, little coffee spot right next to my hairdresser's shop. I ordered their signature drink, a Salted White Mocha which was the perfect balance of sweetness with a touch of subtle savory flavor. The drink was hot, extra creamy and just perfect for the rainy weather! I also tried an Alfajor cookie by for the first time. Forget Oreos! It's two shortbread cookies with caramel filling and powdered sugar on top. Delicious!

Finally made it to one of the newest coffee shops in downtown! It's a cute cozy space and plenty of 2 hour free parking around on a Saturday morning. We were greeted from entrance to exit, by a very kind girl working at the counter by herself! Also loved the cute handwritten note on the lid that said "happy Saturday!". Really enjoyed both drinks that we got. The Cacao Salted Brulee tasted great as an iced drink! I like when they add salt to the flavor profile because it balances out the sweetness and bitterness into a perfect combo. The Santa's Favorite had just the right amount of peppermint. If you're trying to hold on to Christmas just a little longer, run and get this drink asap! They have some unique pastries too, alfajores aren't easy to find so that was a nice little treat! We also had this little garlic bread that was really flavorful, reminded me of the viral Korean garlic cheese bread. Will definitely return here again when the next round of seasonal drinks come out!

I absolutely love Casa Flores. This new spot just opened up in November 2025, and is ran by two sisters (whom I had the pleasure of meeting) Hassel & Sabinne. They were so sweet and hospitable, and you can definitely tell this cafe was born as a passion project for them. Everything about this place screams comfy, cozy, and warm. From the side walk leading up to the doors, to the hand drawn flowers on glass, and the cozy interior, it's the picture perfect place to grab a coffee. They serve coffee, matcha, and a bunch of unique pastries. I got their December special "Santa's Favorite" which was just their house white mocha with a festive twist (peppermint added), and their alfajores which is an Argentine delicacy. The Santa's Favorite came out in the cutest mug (because I ordered it hot and to dine-in) and the alfajores was perfectly paired with the coffee-- it literally just melts in your mouth as soon as you take a bite. I can't wait to be back.

This was my second time going and I truly love this spot. The inside is cozy and aesthetic and their drinks are always so good. The staff are helpful and can answer any questions you have. I recommend this place so much!

The flowers outside caught my attention while driving by. So I stopped to take a look! Such a cute cafe that I had no idea was here before today. I ordered the salted white mocha and it was absolutely delicious! I wish I hadn't had breakfast already, otherwise I would've tried some of their baked goods. They all looked yummy. The inside was cozy with books all around. It felt like it was at a friend's house. Plenty of space to study with some outdoor seating at well. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. I'm excited to stop by again to try other items next time!

Casa Flores is on S street and offers street parking. I visited on a Monday afternoon and didn't have much trouble finding parking. From the outside to inside I was captivated by their beautiful decor and the detail that they've put into it. The space is cozy and has plenty of seating. I loved that they have couches for lounging and even several tables for people to work on or just enjoy their coffee in. I first sat on the wooden bench and it was not comfy at all for me, but the couch made up for it. I had a chance to chat with one of the sisters who owns Casa Flores and I loved learning about some of the things they have coming up, their service was great and everyone was super welcoming. Just being in there truly made it feel like I was "en casa". Now for the coffee, I tried one of the holiday drink - Santa's Favorite white mocha. It wasn't the best peppermint mocha I've tried but definitely very good. I'll have to be back to try their house coffee soon. If you come here, make sure to try the Salvadorian Quesadilla. It was my first time trying one, LOVED IT. I don't see many coffee shops with these. Can't wait to be back!

12/14: Santa's favorite, house salted white mocha, and treats
    Julia C.

My husband and I LOVED this place. As background info, my husband is half Salvadoran, and grew up eating quesadilla as a staple in his family. When I met him, this become one of my favorite desserts. Fast forward to now, 10 years later, when I found that not only a new coffee shop opened (I love coffee, drinking 1-2 lattes a day), AND it was owned by 3 Salvadoran sisters who had Salvadoran treats, we were ecstatic. We went in the morning on a Sunday, and while the interior of the cafe is small, they fit quite a few tables and seats inside. It's very cozy with the Christmas decor and they allow dogs inside. We tried the quesadilla, alforjores, and salpores. Each item was delicious and authentic, the quesadilla being our favorite. For drinks, we tried Santa's favorite and the house salted white mocha, both hot. Both drinks were topped with a really good cold foam, and the Santa's favorite came with a peppermint stick. Sometimes when you order hot drinks, they come out scorching and the milk is burnt so you can't really taste it. These drinks were the perfect temperature and just tasted so good. I can't wait to return!

You're a Mean One (cranberry matcha)

New Latina-owned cafe on S Street! I discovered Casa Flores on Instagram and I was excited to check them out. Living in Midtown, I'm always curious to see how cafes will differentiate themselves. Casa Flores stands out since they not only offer a short and sweet cafe menu, but also a build-your-own bouquet experience! I was immediately hooked on this idea and I like that they provide a hands-free carrier. No mess and no plastic waste! Casa Flores has a short menu and a couple holiday specials, which my partner and I ordered. I got "You're a Mean One," which is a cranberry matcha latte, and he got "Santa's Favorite," a house salted white mocha with peppermint cold foam. Both were exceptional, and I loved the unique flavors. As a matcha lover, I've never seen this pairing, and it was so refreshing with the tartness of the cranberries! I was helped by one of the owners at the register, and the other was actively creating content for the Instagram! As I was building my bouquet, one of the sisters told me I looked so cute and it was nice to connect and be a part of their content. I received lots of compliments on my bouquet, and next time, I'd love to enjoy my drink there. Love this new addition to the Midtown coffee scene!

I really loved the vibe of this place! My school Latinx group chose this space to study and catch up and the owner and staff were really sweet and accommodating. There's comfortable seating inside and outside. Their house salted white mocha is rich and creamy with a Salvi quesadilla. Perfection!

The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. Between the banana matcha and my daughter's excitement over the smoking elephant, this ended up being one of those unexpectedly memorable stops we'll be talking about for a while.

I walk up to the counter and asked for the Mango Sticky Rice and the guy who helped me, idk what his name is had an attitude and was like we're out of it. I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.
