Alas, the time has come to share my discovery. Aspire bakery is a small bakery and bistro located inside CPCC's Harris Campus. It is currently closed due to it being summer but it is typically open mon-fri during the fall/spring semesters. Basically, it is the culinary department students making delicious soups, sandwiches and baked goods for all to enjoy at a great price. Cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, scones, biscuits, macaroons the list goes on and on...all were available here over the course of the last year. Now there is no telling exactly what will be in the bakery case at any visit, but i can guarantee whats there will be delicious. In addition to the baked goods they also have a few sandwiches, salads, wraps and pannini's to choose from and always a soup of the day. I ate here almost every week for the duration of their last run and i never once had the same soup. This very quickly became one of my favorite places to eat and that was completely solidified when i had a slice of their blueberry cheesecake. It was light and airy but rich at the same time. So good. Best i have ever had. Ever. Now just to make this even more awesome im gonna talk about the prices of everything. Ive never found a bakery more reasonably priced. Sandwich, soup, cookie and a drink for around $8. The baked goods start at .50. Oh and theres no tax and the funds from everything they sell goes right back into the culinary program! First, the woman taking my order was so friendly and patient as it was my first time. Coworkers welcomed me too and I just felt like the were all enjoying their day/job.
