I was here last month during my trip to the island. I know for the fact that 7-Eleven Hawaii never fails me. My friend who lives in Aiea brought me and a friend from the mainland here because we were on our way to Keaīwa Heiau State Recreation Area. Having three hungry men raging through the store to find ono snacks for the trip. Initially, we looked at the packaged snacks on the shelves. As soon as I discovered the refrigerator for the microwaveable bentos, we all wanted something with proteins. Heating instruction was on each package. Hehe. I thought about buying a dozen of those and taking them with me for airplane food. But I changed my mind. I also bought my favorite manapua and pork hash from the steamer. Those were my must-haves whenever I went to 7-Eleven Hawaii. Cashier was friendly enough, knowing couple of us were not locals. Therefore, service was pleasant. This 7-Eleven stands out the most in my mind. I wanted to get the fried rice which was in the chilled section. I asked the ckerk if that's the only one there is. To my surprise, she asked if I wanted her to microwave it for me. That was really nice of her. I haven't forgotten that gesture. read more

This is not the largest 7-eleven store, but it still had all the essentials. They don't have a lot of variety on hot foods. We just came here for a drink and a snack - so we were satisfied. It's crazy that you can be over 21 but still have a vertical ID (DMV been behind since covid) and it's not valid to buy liquor or other items. If they take the time to scan it or look at the DOB it will clearly say I'm the legal age. I just turned 21 a month ago and didn't get my horizontal ID yet. It's kinda ridiculous cause I can go to a bar, a casino in Vegas, etc and as long as I'm the legal age. Didn't matter whether my ID was vertical or horizontal. Newly renovated! It's amazing how much of a difference a renovation can make. Before, this location was dark and dirty. But now, the walls and floors are white and everything looks a lot more attractive and modern. As with all 7-elevens, they are well stocked with drinks, snacks, toiletries, and most importantly, prepared foods such as bentos, musubis, sandwiches, manapuas, pork hash, etc. Located near the bottom of Aiea heights drive, it's very convenient for those who live in the Heights. So the products are good, anyone who has grown up in Hawaii knows what 7-11 has, but the person who checked me out had the rudest, most vile personality. His name is Brenden and works at the Aiea location. He had looked pissed off and when I asked him how his night was going, he said, "fucking shit." I asked him if he enjoyed working here and he replied, "fuck no, I've taken so much bullshit the last two years, fuck this place." I understand being upset working in customer service, but that's no way to talk to a paying customer. I went to the Sales Associate at the register and said hey there's no chili coming out of the machine. She said with a cocky irritated voice, then it's empty. It's on every street corner and all the one's I've been to sell the most awesome Beef Macaroni, the star of 711... which translates into even more stars, 4 to be exact! Found in the refrigerated section alongside shelves full of egg salad sandwiches and fruit cups is a treasure trove of yummy delights just waiting to be microwaved. Spicy Pork, Pork Adobo Fried Rice with Scrambled Egg, the best Beef Macaroni and much more. It doesn't tickle my fancy when I think of hamburger helper or school lunch macaroni. But 711 macaroni? I die! The macaroni is covered, but not swimming in sweet beef tomato sauce and is covered with the load of cheese. Pop it in the microwave and BAM! The ULTIMATE lunch covered in melty, oozy gooey cheese. It also comes with a fork wrapped with the container, how convenient! 711 is definitely a godsend on days that I'm in a hurry. The Mini Breakfast Bento (comes with a musubi, scrambled egg and little smokies) is also one of my favorites for under $3. read more

I don't think they even deserve a one star. I'm just upset over the party platters. I ordered a spam musubi party platter for my sons school party and I wasn't told that it was gonna be given to be cold. When I showed up to pick up my order which was paid for in advance it was wrapped nice but found out it was cold because they took it out of the icebox. I was rushing and had to have them heat it up because I was gonna bring it to my sons school. Per an employee all party platters are given to customer food because when it's received it's put in the ice box. If I known that prior I wouldn't have ordered from 711 and I will never order from them again party platters anyway. They should advise their customers that. read more

7-11 a good place to stop and find anything you are looking for. I usually need a drink such as water or energy drinks. This is the place for me. This location is okay it's not dirty or ghetto so its good. I'm not scared when I am here. That is a plus because some 7-11 I can't wait to leave because I'm so scared. The staff has been kosher and kind. No problems whatsoever. The food to me is MEH! If I am dying of hunger and I absolutely need something to eat I will buy food here other than that I will go elsewhere. read more

As I was walking in the store .. a guy comes up to me and say can I buy him cigarettes.. he don't have ID. I told him no it's illegal... so he went into the store and asked the lead associate can he buy cigarettes.. he only have a picture of his ID on his phone .. she said yea.. hell I wanted to try it .. I told her can I get some cigarettes.. I only have a picture on my phone .. she said no .. I said why .. the guy in front of me did it .. I said is it because I'm black she said no. This stores manager is horrible. I am a small business owner myself and I pride myself on honesty and customer service. My business partner and I went to fill his tank this am. Right after paying for the gas inside the store he received a business call. Unfortunately he got in the car after the call did not fill the tank. After realizing the mistake, we immediately turned around and went back but were not able to pump the gas. When he went into the store and explained what happened to the manager, she told him there was no way to refund him or allow him to pump the gas. Another worker commented that someone else had pumped $25.00 of the $40.00 and there was still money left. The manager told the employee to be quiet and stated she could not refund his money or give him the gas. He was understandably upset being that the store basically just stole 40,00 dollars from him. I understand how the books work, they have record of sales and the books would not balance at the end of the day unless someone were to take the forty dollars and pocket it. I could understand not refunding the money if we had left and were gone for a long while but that is not the case. We were only gone as long as it took to turn around, a five minutes tops. This is OUT RIGHT STEALING - NOTHING MORE. To know that my partner and I have to go through the headache of filing a police report (what our bank stated to do as a follow up) is just ridiculous. The store manager should have just refunded the money or let us have the gas for which we just paid. I know this is not 7-11's policy and I will be sure to inform them how their franchise is being mismanaged and more importantly the lack of integrity of the store manager. They can be sure this is not last they will hear of this. This is a small island and word travels fast. Stealing from anyone, especially in the land of aloha and this economy should never be tolerated. DO NOT REWARD THEIR DISHONESTY WITH YOUR BUSINESS! I would rather drive a little further and give my hard earn money and business to the many honest businesses out there! LATER THAT MORNING I would like to add" I emailed 7Eleven Corporation after this incident. I received a written response within 2 hours of sending the email. The response was one of genuine concern. I was assured that this incident would be investigated and corrected. This is testimony that 7 Eleven Corp does care about its customers . Today I went the 7-11 on aiea heights drive, I had a coupon from foursquare that gave me a free small slurpee at any 7-11 on my first check-in there. I got a similar coupon from wilder street 7-11 store near punahou school which was accepted without question for the clerk claimed they were informed of this 2 weeks prior. So I went to the aiea 7-11 and it was declined. I waited for 15 minutes while the clerk claimed to be looking into it. Even other customers stated that why am I was waiting and where is the manager! I was repeatedly by passed for other, older customers. Then my mom came in and I left empty handed. This is the last time I will go to the aiea store. I will continue to purchase my goods from wilder and their kind staff. I want you to take immediate action before this happens again!!! read more

This is also one of the many 7-Eleven stores that I frequent to. Back in the day, my friends and I used to cruise down here all the time after school back in the Aiea Intermediate and High School dayz. I stop by here whenever I am in the area. The location also has a Tesoro gas station which is another added benefit and convenience for people on the go. Whenever I am at 7-Eleven it's just routine for me to get some sort of musubi and Arizona Green Tea drink. I also get some manapua here and there. I usually like to get the new one that they have on special whatever it is whether it's purple taro, pumpkin, custard, etc. I usually like getting those. As far as musubis go, I usually get the classic spam and sometimes the deluxe one with egg. I also get their turkey or egg sandwiches which is pretty good too. If I am there in the morning, pastries and donuts are a must. The prices down at 7-Eleven are awesome. While some places sell Arizona Green Tea for almost 2 to 3 bucks, 7-Eleven always has it at a buck all day everyday. This location is conveniently located all the way up the hill on Kauhale St. going up Aiea Heights in Aiea. If you are headed up there you can't miss it. It is also around the Aiea Bowl area past it when you are going up the street. You will also see Aiea Shopping Center and McDonalds around there. read more
