Once upon a time... I was going for a stroll in sunny day California when I stumbled across a magnificent looking establishment, vivid scents capable of lifting me off the ground like a Looney Tones character, infatuated and distracted. I, a classic millennial of fine manner with my significant other (16f), had to take a look and see for myself the source of the extravagant scent ! And my stars, as soon as i stepped foot the beefy croissant display had me clutching my pearls and curling my toes in excitement and arousal. Later as my journey progressed... I knew I had top this meal off with a low calorie snack, and sista or mista, I ain't talking Evan Peters , I'm talking Juicy Fruit bubblegum on discount. Well misters, when I tell you after contemplating with great intensity and pondering my vast options among a worthy shelf of nourishment, I had narrowed my options down to either the grape cube gum, or... the juicy fruit pack. Let me inform you, the bombastic side eye me and my plus sized girlfriend of asian descent received from the WHITE lizzo looking scalleywag at the register was enough already. However, to finger my milkshake and abruptly place a cherry on top, white lizzo had the audacity and entitlement to order my plus sized girlfriend of asian descent to submit herself into timeout at the front of the shop with the unreasonable excuse being she wasn't buying anything herself. Now, I was alone and somber, fearful for my life in the hood of La Jolla and hysterical with separation anxiety . I'll have you informed, that I, in contrast to my curvaceous girlfriend, am a skinny female myself, and was not taking up the gum isle the way this man absorbed any free space behind the desktop, when he ORDERED, that I speed my intellectual pondering to be compressed into 10 seconds before he kicked me out. I was distraught and offended by the mans unruly and extremely disrespectful remark, immediately clutching not only my Birkin , but the juicy fruit I had decided on purchasing this afternoon. Holding back tears, looking at my girlfriend as she sorrily gazed back upon me from the naughty corner she had been banished to. Following this incident, I gracefully approached the counter and the evil plus sized demon that had disrespected and humiliated my family, "heavens to betsy" i mumbled to myself (without being loud enough to be considered schizophrenic), this establishment is only occupied by 2 male gen z'res I noticed. Their backwards hats and gang affiliated T-shirts with most certainly stolen gold chains proving to me the only hoodlums in the entirety of 7/11 bothered by my careful consideration of flavor selection, were the clerks. I checked out and took my beautiful girlfriend away from the hell, now we are both traumatized with no recollection of ever having deserved the humiliation we were undeservingly subjected to. Do better 7/11. It's sad how many people have had similar experiences. read more
