Lots of ice in my light ice order
    Judy C.

Wanted a quick coffee. Ordered ahead and found out the inside is closed so you have to wait on an incredibly slow drive thru line to pick up. Also light ice here is ice filled more than half way up a venti cup. Disappointing after playing almost $8 for a drink.

No music playing and the staff are all upset. It made me feel uncomfortable being inside to wait for my drink. The place was clean but not a spot you would want to hang out or meet anyone at.

An insulting $7 cup of coffee.

One star for it being good but this is the coffee that cost me $7 this morning. Too bad I couldn't enjoy $7 worth of it.

$8 for a drink that was ALL ice. If the girl who took my order wasn't nice this would be a 1 star review.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this Starbucks once a week for about a year now since we do our laundry right next door. Pro: you can almost find get table or seat. Cons: the customer service needs some major help. As I've said I go to this Starbucks pretty frequently and more often than not something is wrong with my order lately. Most recently (I'd say the last 6 times) I'll order a hot tea & something for my boyfriend, I'll get my drink, but need to remind them about his. I wait about 10 or 15 minutes until I ask and they always act surprised and had no idea about the order. You charged me for the drink so I know that you know. When ordering I have had to stand around for a minute or two so that the employees can finish their personal conversation. I have decided I'm done spending my money here and won't be returning. I would rather sit at the laundromat or in my car while I wait for my laundry.

    Regular Oatmeal & Cafe Misto
    Jack M.

I made a quick stop at this Starbucks for some regular oatmeal with brown sugar, mixed nuts, and dried berries, and raisins. For my morning kick, I had a Grande Cafe Misto made from a medium roast. After letting the oatmeal sit for a couple of minutes in its container I added the packaged goods. I like this part because it allows one to control the amount of brown sugar that goes into the oatmeal. After I mix all the ingredients, I gave it a go, the oatmeal was quite good. The hot did what it was suppose to do and cooked the oatmeal well, the mix nuts were crunchy and tasty, and dried berries and raisins were sweet with a bit of a chew. The cafe misto was very good. The hot steamed milk gave the coffee a mild creaminess and made the Pike Place Coffee smooth body even smoother. One thing I like about cafe misto is that it's prepared with hot coffee on hot milk, so you get one hot coffee. Service okay. I thought the girl at the counter was a little impatient and could of been a little friendlier, but the girl at the order pick up counter was just grand.

Many of the drinks are themed around computer programming with names like "C++" and "Debugger". The whimsical nature of the naming is rather appealing and cute. The atmosphere here is casual and relaxed which is perfect for those needing a chill place to study or kick back. Service was quick and efficient. The staff members also were friendly and positive in mood. I ordered their batch brew coffee which was illustrated as using Guatemala beans that provided "chocolate, nutty, caramel, and citrusy" notes. I didn't quite taste the first three aforementioned notes, but the citrusy, sour note was there along with bitter notes. I've been here before and I much prefer their lattes such as the Troubleshooter and Debugger. Those are exceptionally enjoyable drinks to me. I would rate the batch brew a 3/5 but I'd rate the two aforementioned lattes around a 4.5/5. Overall, it's best to enjoy the specialty drinks here and inundate yourself with sweet caffeine to focus on studying for your upcoming test or completing your project that's about to be due.

The drink, first time I've had a Hojicha I wasn't impressed with, just tasted mostly like the almond milk. I had them go light with the maple syrup, but either they skipped it or went too light. I got a large (iced), maybe all the ratios are better in the smaller size. They have a few baked goods but nothing looked worth the carbs and sugar. Place was pretty busy, kind of a different vibe, not as 'zen', more fast food feel. Not a big deal. Service was mid, no one seemed too excited to see me lol, but not terrible. Parking is easy. Maybe their other drinks are better, but I'll keep on the lookout for a better place to get my Hojicha!

It's local, convenient, and surprisingly affordable for today's prices... under $5 for a latte, which is a total win. There's no indoor seating since it's a tiny booth, but there's plenty of parking if you want to walk up and grab your coffee. This quaint and unassuming coffee shop delivered spectacularly. Located in a really small strip mall, we were happy to get a parking space in the parking lot. She made great suggestions on the coffees. We tried their Latte with oat milk and the Maple nut latte. We also tried their pistachio-apricot scone. The lattes were excellent! Great, strong coffee flavor but with no bitterness. It was really smooth. And the scone? Loved it! Great taste and texture. Perfect crumb. Oh how I wish this place was in North County. Kristen the employee who always greeted and helped me out recommended a bunch of options and my absolute favorite is the Crème Brulee Egg Tart. Every time I visit, I make sure to get one fresh out of the oven. It's incredibly creamy, melts in your mouth, and has the perfect level of sweetness without being overly sweet. My second favorite is the Chocolate Boba Egg Tart. The chocolate and boba complement the egg tart really well. The crunchy little boba balls aren't too sticky, and the sweetness is nicely balanced. The Espresso Egg Tart comes in third. It has a smooth, mellow coffee flavor that's not overpowering and pairs well with the creamy custard. As for the Dubai Chocolate Egg Tart, it's very crunchy and not overly sweet. However, the chocolate layers were so chunky that I couldn't really taste much of the egg tart itself. The Ube Cheese Egg Tart was creamy, soft, and gooey with a strong ube (sweet potato-like) flavor. While it was enjoyable, I couldn't really taste much of the cheese.
